Hey All, So I dropped my beans on the 8th May into some damp tissue inside a container using plain ol tap water I gave them 4 days inside the damp tissue ,the roots grew uniformly and were around 2cm when I transplanted them last night. This is a picture of them this morning in plain coco peat, recovered and starting to enjoy the small 18w LED tube above. The plan now is to wait for them to dry out and then only water from the bottom.I've had success with this in the past.My intention here it to force the roots to grow by limiting water.Keeping a young seedling consistently wet is the worse thing you can do,but obviously there is a fine balance5 points

I've always had good results with@Totemic seeds germination wise. Coming to the end of a very late outdoor grow of his GTH#1 x OKC. Popped 45 seeds of which 42 germinated and left with 33 females. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk5 points

I know, and dont mind at all, it's for the love of the plant and as mentioned before, enjoy what I do and keep the activity going on the page, if nothing else. Thank you again @420SA4 points

Thanks!! One I did, the other not yet So I have a temp probe and a temp/hum probe. The temp one sits around the light area (top of tent) and thats the one coming into the picture. Its just works length wise, but would be neater with the extension. Thanks man No but I will check them out. I got from a guy in centurion when I picked up my tent. So my ladies have all popped when I checked this morning. I quickly moved them straight to a solo cup with some FF green bag soil to start with.4 points

Indoor the 2 small pineapple expresses are struggling a bit. Not sure what the issue is? Runoff 6.6 ph, new freedom farms soil. The rest are doing great and seem to be growing well Outside the abandoned ones all have issues. Just spaying them and hoping they survive the winter. Also this sweet analog hygrometer from takelot arrived. Not bad for R150. Plus the new seeds from cannabist arrived as well. The gene pool of all these autos should make great hybrids.3 points

For autos i use Biobizz Root Juice, for photos not really. If you want to increase yield and potency, add Biobizz Bio Heaven to your feeding. Seagro is the kindergarden version of Fish Mix careful with Fish Mix, potent. and as already mentioned, Biobizz Grow = 75% Fish Mix + 25% molasses Swap each day with Fish Mix and Grow... during flower, i only feed Grow Top Max is just awesome there is no need to add calmag every time you feed. Check if your calmag is nitrate based. If yes, leave the fish mix or grow away when you feed it... once a month is more then fine. in general i only give epsom salt as a addon once a month... and react to calcium issues if they show... usually they dont, depending on the soil you use. I use FF premium classic, green bag. No need to add anything else.. all in the biobizz range... and for the price, you should expect that Plants looking nice... check that you do not over care and over feed.. rest, go on you doing it right3 points

How bad can it go right? [emoji23] New to the forum, pretty new to growing indoor and definitely new to a GrowOff but I'm keen to learn so here I am. Shoutout to@Pants for leading me here and the organisers and sponsors for lining up the sweet incentives. Here for the growth [emoji271] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk2 points

@The_StonedTrooper Looking good man. You had a good shot in April's comp, but it still hasn't been a year yet since your win, hence why your entries were not considered. Your entries can qualify again next month2 points

Hello fellow enthusiasts! New member here, around 8 grows under my belt around 6 years ago and just recently started growing again. Used to be a member on weed.co.za back in the day too. Hoping for some advice and always willing to learn. Some pics of my homemade box with 400w hps in a cooltube.2 points

I've found the same.. Germination rate and female to male ratios has always been exceptional..2 points

Also remember homie, Biobizz Grow has molasses in it as well. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk2 points

All 3 seeds successfully germinated. [emoji119] Will be keeping them in these net pods until they outgrow them. Currently they are placed just outside the veg tent. They will now be placed in the tent. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk2 points

Got myself a keen bean, still waiting on the other two to break the surface, but this one is already looking power. Light cycle at the moment in the veg tent is 18-6, starting from 6pm to 12pm the next day. Temp is steady at 24C. I have only needed to moisten the cubes once and this was done with room temperature 5.8 pH water.2 points

@Naughty.Psychonaut Not bad, reminds me a bit of December Streets. So I heard this song being played on the radio last night on my mission to the shops, a rather new song and its DnB - must have been a DJ mix on 5FM and likely a DnB mix too.2 points

I love this! Will make it much easier for everyone to find the type of companies / places they are looking for, 420 related of course.2 points

Good evening fellow greens Firstly if a decent post regarding this topic already exists, apologies I will delete this one Right, down to my question or for discussion and information's sake a topic that can help quite a few peeps who like me are kind of new to this.... (We are the covid growers ) The mixing of various feeds and nutrients into one watering My mind tells me that surely not everything can be mixed together? At some point one would cause a chemical reaction that would not be beneficial to the plant. I would imagine this would differ vastly between organic/non-organic and possibly mixing the two also What got me thinking regarding this topic was my recently nutrient change I was using Ecobuzz Multigro almost exclusively and then my wife bought me some Biobizz (what a legend) Now I have a schedule I need to follow, right, okay but what about the rest of the goodies... Kelpak? Calmag? Silica? How do I factor all of the above in, and what other mixes do you personally know that work well So far I have done 1) Biobizz ((grow/bloom/topmax)GBT) + Kelpak 2) Biobizz (GBT) + Calmag (always checking and correcting PH) but not the entire mix together as I would think the water would get 'Heavy'? And where can I fit my Silica into the mix? This is not even looking at my blackstrap molasses How do you as a grower mix and match and based on the above what recommendation would you give1 point

We grow organic and use Seagrow molasses Ecobuzz and Biobizz bloom, grow, fishmix. The npk ratios on Ecobuzz multigrow lean towards the bloom side. Only ph our rain water, due to the amended organic soil that does the buffering. Dont like mixing organic and synthetics. Stuff like calmag and epsom will precipitate out if mixed. Keep it simple. I try to keep my grow and bloom scheduled feedings seperate from say deficiency corrections and wouldn't do them on the same day. SST and AACT's are fed seperately from scheduled feeds, normally 2 to 3 days apart. In veg use your 'grow' nutes as per recomended dosage.(1-4ml/lt) You could add some molasses or a maintenance dose of calmag to that if you want. You could mix grow and bloom together, but don't exceed the max dosage of both. 2ml bloom+2ml grow=4ml. If you then add 5ml Ecobuzz and 20ml Seagrow and calmag on top of that you're starting to look for trouble. Just my opinion.1 point
