What helps in the winter is sucking air in from the top and catching the hot air from the lights and then the outlet at the bottom , I usually change intake from bottom (summer) and then top in winter 2-5 degrees helps with no extra cost

Now that I see an actual reading on the temps in the cabinet all I can say is if you don't have a thermometer, get one.

Realizing my main reasons for not having successful indoor grows was not understanding the environment control.

Learning very fast.
Thanks dudes.

Week 3 to the day.

Plan was to start LST today.

Attempts to dry my soil does not seem to be working so I decided to down pot.

Carefully loosened soil rolling the pot and supporting the plant like a futhermucker. Couldn't grab the camera as the little one was supervising but soil was wet. Roots had managed to push out by 30 - 40mm only.

Decision made. Gotta save the babies as they were dying a slow death anyway.

Sitting here thinking. Do you guys think I should flush this soil now and then let it dry.

Plant roots love being wet, its when the oxygen runs out when trouble starts. My advise is to transplant into a fabric pot now with organilux or freedom farms soil. Its already in shock but they can be saved. Your just going to lose a week or two. Had similar issues with the 2 pineapple expresses and 9 days later they seem to be doing ok. Good luck buddy.

25 days since I planted directly into 10l pot and almost succeeded in killing them.

3 days since I repotted into smaller pots and I seem to have pulled a rabbit out of the hat.

Plants seem to be bouncing back some what. Do you think it's the Epsom salt light foliage spray I gave them @iGrowDagga? 😁

I've decided I'll be inviting my two QB75's to the party. One either side the 240W and dial them to what will be optimum lighting or close to for my 900mm x 900mm area.

As far as training goes I'm stumped as I think time has run out. Not sure. Will see. 😈

Day 28.

Hindsight hey. Looking back I should have stuck to the basics instead of jumping in the deep end and planting into final pot.

Plants have bounced back and looking good I think. Due for a check for any bugs etc and a nervous watering tomorrow.

Temperature in the cabinet sitting between 29-24 degrees during the day and has dropped as low as 13 degrees overnight.

RH is all over the place between 43-59.

Two @growopz QB75's added to the cabinet and waiting for the switch to be flipped.

As for the soil I have added perlite and a small amount of vermiculite, flushed then spread on plastic to dry ever so slightly. While picking said soil up I noticed what I was hoping to be baby earthworms but is probably the start of gnats.

Time to bring out the CINNAMON.

According to my calculations I have 17 days left before flip to allow for the recommended +/- 70 days for flower.

I'm gonna need help now guys.

I think I'll have to wait at least a week before replanting into final pot.

Can I start some sort of LST now before replanting? Probably not but need to ask.

And most of all I'm gonna need guidance in any sort of training if still possible in my present situation as I am totally overwhelmed by what Google has to say.

Day 32 if my math is correct.

11 days since the plants have been in smaller pots and roots started pushing out bottom of pots.

Soil dried to a nice consistency and cinnamon powder added as I found wiggly worms that are definitely not earthworms.

All 3 lights will be running from today so I'll be figuring out heights etc for the rest of the week.

Training, still not sure if I should attempt it. Lack of experience the main problem.

Water using borehole water ph 6.5 - 6.7.

Spray a little Biogrow bioneem every 2 weeks or so from now on.

Man. These plants have bounced back nicely.

Thanks. Think it's got more to do with@Totemic genetics hey.

Sure, I propagate and work with indigenous plants but looking over the grow threads one thing stands out.
Just about everyone who had a kak start or some bad luck have had a good comeback with minimal effort.
