I have never had any issues with seedlings in Freedom Farms green bag, be it auto's or fems.

Hello everybody,

I start my seeds directly in the jiffies. Also did the papertowel method in the past.

My reason for starting the seed directly in the jiffie without a soak is that I want to protect the fragile taproot. Once the seed is in the jiffie I put it in a warm place and wait till the seedling breaks through the surface. Thats when I carefully place the jiffie into the final pot.

That's just how it always worked for me, but there are so many different ways to start the seeds.

What I suggested to him was not to start to seed directly in the ff soil. I think there’s a warning on the bag not to do so hence I never tried it.

Na.. don't worry.. is not really a hot mix. But a great buffer for all. Main nutes still come from BioBizz, but is a very fluffy mix. With Root Juice, they grow very fast in the first 2 weeks. I always reach 5 finger leaves end week 2.

I thought you preferred the Organic Matters soil, more or less the same thing, bar a few ingredients. 

They have both given good results though.

I have my own compost to mix 50/50.. but a friend is a bit more lazy and just uses the bags.. my way is cheaper.. not better. Have to be that honest too  No difference to me.. he has some White Widows finished end this week. Hehehe Autos.. what else.. one has a arm thick main and is 50 cm long  no, no differences

I am actually growing in organic matters at the moment, gave it a try as it came with some Mycorrhizal fungi.

Correct, good stuff the Mycorrhizae 

Plus it has insect frass in it

Insect frass, releases (excuse the spelling) titan, and that is where the plant thinks because its getting titan, there is probably a bug infestation and that's why dead corpses in the soil, and the plant will act like it under attack...

Thus making it grow like a mofo, because it's not being attacked, and bugs will not want to eat it as its already putting on a defense.

Bit hard to see what it is  drop the popped seeds directly into the final pot. 10 Liter pot filled with FF Green bag will do the trick. You do not need Root Juice.. I just waste some cash with it. When you once run into it.. get a small 250ml bottle.. lasts for a very long time as you only use it first week, then stop.

More important is BioBizz Fish Mix.. that is the steroid version of Seagro  Before I would use Seagro I would go Guanoflo, has way more N.. that Seagro bottle wouldn't last to long.

I also couldn't make it out clearly, think its jiffy pellets in bags to keep moisture.

Fully agree with the FishMix, and didnt ever have good luck with Seagro on ordinary plants when I used it at the nursery and in landscaping.

That's a seedling or under pot warmer pad, you want a wall mount plate heater.
