  1. Oooof! Still out of my budget lol Thanks
  2. @Aeradix what's the price of a TS3000 new?
  3. You could run it full on... But that's quite scary... But hooking it up to a thermo isn't so tricky... You just need the right solenoid that can open and close a Gas bottle, and an electric ignition source, hook the solenoid up to the thermo and boom.... As for the ignition and solenoid parts, you don't want to skimp on these in the least. Adding a gas sensor to close the solenoid if excess propane is leaked... Last thing you want is everything to go boom...
  4. 6500 for 4 panels and 5 drivers? Not bad... The drivers are heavy as fuck and likely pushed customs up high. 8.7k though...hurts lol... But still half the price of an HLG 500 Why didn't you try source the drivers locally?
  5. I washed my dad's harvest last weekend because it needed a bath... Pm was pretty rife... I had a 4 bucket wash... Rinse bucket, that led to a bicarb and lemon juice bath, which led to a hot water bucket, and then a cold rinse... It seemed to do the trick for the most part
  6. Are there going to be any customs charges or what is your final price per panel?
  7. Depending on how sterile the moisture is, it could actually germinate the seeds if humidity is high. And mold and bacteria like moisture so it's best to limit it as much as possible. So silica packs work a peach... And a low stable temperature
  8. @Naughty.Psychonaut, you should be looking for diodes that are in 3000k as a good average for veg and flower. 5500 if you want a separate veg light And still 3000k for flower, so yea just stick with the 3000k spectrum And in a 1x1 area you will need about 300w of LED power for that space if you want to stick to ~30w per square foot So with those to aims Its a bit easier to choose the right strips As for the type of diode, the LM561C are nice, the LMB301b and LMB301h are also saught after... Epistar are also popular but are an older tech... Works well, but older and not as efficient as the Samsung stuff Hope this helps!! I know reputed member @PsyCLownhas a ton of strip knowledge
  9. Like I have mentioned... It will be an unfair battle in the favour of your TS3000 if you don't compare watt for watt... The TS is 450w, and the qbs are 120w each... And I think you only got 2, so I expect your TS to smash 2 Qb288s out the water, even though your TS uses older LED's
  10. This is strangely very easy to understand
  11. You said you wanna chop at first sight of amber? What ha using to get up close and personal? The DSLR?
  12. @Smeegol How's that swamp juice treating you? Theres another thread around here with okes asking about it... Can you give us any feedback on it? As far as I can tell it's a local nutritient?

    Ah! Gotcha... Noice
  14. Looking great man!! Reading your posts I noticed that defoliation doesn't seem to be a part of your regime. Those lower larfie buds could be much more glorious with a bit of a defol

Just some clarification... Are you using pool water on your plants? It's not the end of the world... But pool water is treated water and can contain excess amounts of chlorine and chloromains which could hurt your microbiology already in the soil. I use fresh tap water - in a bucket - left to stand until use. I use a 150l tote for my water, and actually go through quite a bit of water in a month... If I had a Jojo like @Bospatrollie2 I would also consider keeping the bacteria in check. But pool water is a no no
  16. Shiiiiiiit this months entries are fire!! Congrats to all the contestants - may the odds be ever in your favour
  17. What characteristics are you hunting for?
  18. I don't have the time for that hehe... And my plants are deeply intrenched in a scrog so I wouldn't be as thorough as I would need to be... So I will stick to pyrol and try irradicate them from my veg area... They used to be the bane of my existence... But now they are just a pain that iv added to my collection of aches
  19. Geez what a crok of shit!! It's been months since anyone even noticed them... They seem locally manufactured as the rest of the world is completely oblivious to its existence... The website still doesn't have a decent breakdown of elements and it has a R420 price tag... Talk about baited as fuck!! For the price I would rather stick to tried and tested nutrient formulations and not infoless swamp juice @Ill_Evan, shot for the mention Holmes, but my teas can't really be considered as a nutrient source, no matter how amazing they are hehe... Benificial bacteria and fungi have a home in my tents and I rate this takes all the hard work out of growing
  20. I dono... Maybe due to growing experience I can say that I treat coco the same way I treat my soil... Feed when the medium is light. A new grower does not have this experience to know when their plant has had too much, or is getting too little... And therefore pens are vitally important to a new grower.... Im in the same boat as you... I actually don't even know where my pens are!! But it took me years to get to this point and I feel new growers need to use pens to get acquainted with how their meduim works and what does what when how and shit. I know that my nutrient regime is around 600ppm and pH is around 6.1 once iv added my nutes to the feeding water. Also zero problems... Except for thrips... Those Lil fucks
