I rate those Lil 50w will work great in your tent Im really a big fan of these cheaper lights for veg - they do the job really well, and iv used flourecent tubes and flourecent bulbs and incandescent lighting and HPS and MH and LED bulbs and spot lights.... They work to an extent... But we're mostly all more expensive than this acdc light overall And still this FL-150-CW is way better than the others for veg, except MH... MH rocks veg! But at 550w from the wall for a 400w fitting, VS 150w from the wall acdc... It's a hands down open book test brotha

And read everything you can about growing techniques and best practice methods. A good grower who knows how to apply cultivation tools will grow better produce with limited resources, than a grower with more resources but a lack of knowledge

They do have some leds in 3000k, but only 50w versions - so not really worth it imo. This is indeed the right light... I have one in my flower tent currently as I need more lighting there and it's all I had to spare... It puts out decent amounts of light, but I would keep it for veg use only and use a more sophisticated light for bloom. Contact an express dealer and I think they are on special for R375

This took me by surprise haha! I luckily live on the 3rd floor, and little gets up there... But even before that, I leave my veg room permanently 100% open And then my flower tent is only closed during its dark cycle, otherwise the tent is also open... So a filter would just be silly for me

@Saurus I agree with @1000Hills Nursery you will run out of space Pronto Pronto. And yes... The 150 in the name is the wattage... From the wall it's exactly 150 aswell so that's nice, and this model is in 5500k spectrum

What is the price on one of those tubes? And you need a whole fixture built for it and the led power supply... It sounds quite intricate! I have just recently bought LED flood lights from ACDC electrical for my veg area. I have a larger 2.4x2.4 veg area and I only need 2 of the FL-150-CW lights they offer. @under R400 for the light and it's vegetative growing capacity, I feel it's a solid buy for a veg area light. 1 would sort you out good and proper, and all you need to do is plug it in. Or 2 for legendary coverage at still a pretty sweet point of under 800

Ah bleakness cap!! Im sure you have the support of the okes here and nearby to you... I'm sure there are okes with fire clones you could tend to and as for the blue dreams... I would let her finish... I had a plant last run that I thought was gonna be so shit and unsmokable....and it came through in the last few weeks... I think all they way to week 9 I was in the edge and wanted her to come out... Curled leaves and all haha.. Let them live and see what happens

Nice! I would still lower the light a bit more... Try get 15 to 20cm lower, or aim for 20cm above the canopy and they will love that! And nice improvement from the space tote!! My this cupboard grow some danky dank for you for years to come!

Yea give it time, Rome was not built in a day, and weed doesn't become dank overnight. For now they should be pretty good... Give them a week like GGG said and take it from there... They will most likely love the new leg space and you will see them all happy and green in no time. How often are you watering?

@adre now that you are off to a good start, why not start a grow diary in the main section with the other growers? Much more exposure there that's for sure!

LOL I went to Marijuanaseeds.com and not Co.za . Com selection is beyond conceivable With 14 thousand strains to choose from... I doubt I would even be able to make a choice

Everybody needs to agree with the above statement because it's probably of upmost importance....

I dono my dude, I have dabbled in those damn rock wool things and have had the worst success rates with it... I have had better germination rates and over all growing from straight in the pot, but even better with jiffies cubes... @Ill_Evanand @Kiteloop I'd consider exploring other less tedious options than germinating in rockwool

And you just put it on the surface? Seems legit! I'll def be applying this to my next outdoor garden to boost them woms!
