I still think milk would do wonders. 5050 in water and spray... Do that once a week for 3 weeks and your pm will be very low to nill. @PsyCLown @Mambawana And a few other members have had great success with milk.

@Daniel-J, those vortex brewers look proper, and are proper, but are pretty pricy... I wouldn't pay for any of the ones that are not vortex, as they are all much over much... If I had to choose one of your top 5 jobs... It would definitely be the master grower part. I would love to have a cannabis coffee parlor, where I have a small room to grow a few plants... Nothing fancy and not my main grow... But just for people to view when they come grab a spliff or a coffee. I'd love to be a waiter in my own shop so I can tell the customers about each strain on the menu with their various intricacies. Actually I'd actually love a hydro store, with a coffee shop as the main attraction. That's my end goal

Lol fucken worms... Moths are a real problem for me... So I had to put this up in my bathroom. Whoop now only little little moths can get in... Sheesh what a nightmare they were... It could be both, milky and clear and amber here and there... With the naked eye it's harder, but I guess a few tips maybe in order. Firstly, iv harvested weed while some of the calyx pistols are still white, maybe 20% still white, and only in future grows have I realized that amber only really starts coming when almost all of the pistols go brown. Of coarse this is highly strain dependant and results will differ if you are eyeballing it. My general rule of thumb is now when about 5% of the pistols are still white it's harvest time. This gives me a mature bud, With little couch lock.. Again, strain dependant. The hand held microscope hust helps get it perfect to the day. If you can, hit up a China mall for a microscope with at least 60x magnification. Don't go for more than 150x either as your field of view becomes smaller and you see less trichomes, forcing you to need to check more places to get an average of the amber

Taking pics might not be the way forward. We need to be able to see the little ball on top of the trichomes stalk. So if you can look closer without taking pics, can you tell the colour of the trichomes balls? If you still can't see, it might be that the loupe isn't as powerful as you need it to be. You can pick up a hand held microscope for very little at most grow shops.

You might be able to Stanley knife the cambuim layer. As long as you don't ring the cambuim all the way around it will be okay... And then follow with Danks good suggestions... I might be tempted to wrap the stem with some kind of fungi killer, like a gauze or something... Lol treat it like gangrene

I get you I really like my smokable weed to be pretty dry... Dry enough to crumble with my hands... But the stuff in storage and cure must stay at 56. With dryer weed, iv found that I can get away with a pipe clean once a week... But with wetter weed, I have to crush with a grinder which is a pain in the ass... And the extra moisture cloggs up my pipe so fast... Need to clean my pipe twice a week then. Like... It mustn't crush into a keif like powder... But calyx pop off the stem much easier than wet weed.

Mmm, RH should be RH wherever you go... It's the airs ability to hold moisture. So 70%Rh @25° at the coast is the same as 70%rh @25° inland.

I see nobody has asked why I stabilize at 56 and not 62. In my opinion 62 is just a touch too wet... I decant from my large jars into smaller jars for daily smoking, so I don't open the large jar as often teehee. But if my weed is at 62% it takes loooong for the weed to get dryer the way I like it. Where at 56 it takes about half a day before it's just right for me. Easier to roll joints, pack a pipe, load a bong... And most importantly easier to crush with more even weed bits. My terps are potent as ever after a crush. But maybe I am missing something that makes okes like 62% more

That's my style bro... Point and shoot.... Auto focus is a blessing and a curse. Iv recently started playing with the more professional settings.... And honestly... The auto settings yeild many more great pics.

I like the douwe egberts jars... They seal very well in my opinion.... Iv never had an issue with getting above 70% the first few days in between burps and then getting it to stabilize at 56% with real ease. I like the big 150g coffee ones the most... Just takes me fuck long to finish the coffee

I have had success with eleminating pm with milk. I agree, 20% solution is more of a maintenance level... For this I would go with a 50% like @PsyCLown mentioned... Or even more... Up to 80%. I would do this in the evening so the milk doesn't dry out too fast. I would do this weekly, bi-weekly or as needed I would also take @420SA advice about removing all infected leaves(before the milk spray).

And I guess to answer your question about the sun... I think that a high UV index would eventually degrade the trichomes, but I doubt that it's the sun if it's just the tops of the colas.... 50cm further from the sun isn't going to make any difference to its potency and strength. A more likely issue would be handling the Cola in any way... Pressing it to see how dense she is or whatever... Less handling equals better appearance.

Well, I wouldn't look at only one spot on the plant in determining ripeness... Depending on the size of the plant... I would take readings between 5 and 10 different parts of the plant and give myself an average of the amber. I like to make sure the bud is done, but not a fan of couch lock... So I generally cut at around 5 to 10% amber
