  1. i would wait a few more days before topping or not even top, depending on space and time everything
  2. I dono about PsyClown, but I found hat decent proper no fucking around lights... Made the biggest difference to yeild no matter if it was hydro or soil or coco. For me, I will get the largest yeilds from a hydro run... Because I know how to work it... Coco seems to put out nicer buds and I would say the difference is much over much because I don't really know what I'm doing with coco or soil. To take your current skill level and that would determine which meduim you will yeild best in
  3. So I am generally a broke ass mofo looking to save costs where I can. And reusing what I have really slashes operating costs. I love my hydro... Ultimate cheap setup... Water is almost nothing... And the nutes that get absorbed are also borderline nothing... So hydro is the best for me. As for coco and soil... I choose coco for indoor growing and reuse it with great effectiveness. It's a bit of work cleaning the coco after a good harvest... But it's worth it imo. As for soil... I'm still on the fence here... Maybe I just suck at soil indoors, or I just prefer coco that much more. I do have a stash of soil that's going to be recycled for balcony growing next season... Tomatoes and the like... I'd like a ebb and flow/nft setup when I'm big... But for now... It's DWC cloning and coco flowering
  4. Modugrow? I don't think there are many on the site who use them... I belethey are Samsung diodes so that's tit How many what's you running and what strains? Hit us with some pics yo!
  5. Nice work on the auto clone! Pity she's an auto though hehe... Anyways, welcome to the site man! Enjoy and post as much as you want haha! What setup are you running dude?
  6. Free is free... Maybe take one of each and see how they go... Like @PsyCLownmentioned... You need to be concerned about how the seedlings will handle the craft coco.. I would get some jiffies for germination just in case
  7. Noice! And what grammar did you manage to pull last harvest under it?
  8. Nice yo!! What tech have you got and what strains are happening? Welcome and buckle in man
  9. I'll take your word about the Horticulture bit... I know that they are practically the same effeciency... Just the h is more efficient by like 2% or something. They are liked over the b range, but only because they are newer and more efficient and cost the same. I'd get a psu that can run all 4 boards at the same time... Meanwell have a 480w driver that will do the trick... Otherwise 2 240w drivers will also work... I would avoid getting a psu per panel for simplicity HLG-240H-48AB or similar HLG-480H-48AB or similar or is it the 52A you need... @PsyCLownwill know
  10. The B and H are just its efficiencies i think? the H being marginally newer and marginally more efficient than the B range. the Mars TS3000 uses epistar diodes - which arent bad - but the 301's are better over all. your ts3000 has all the same spectrum ranges with the UV and IR and extra red diodes, just lower spec diodes. pity the form designes arent similar so you could get a watt for watt comparison. i feel your ts3000 will beat 2 QB288's, but not 4... even 3 QBS might give one TS3000 a run for your money.
  11. shit, only seeing this now. my Germans pretty poor, but i dont see those lights coming with a power supply?
  12. im trying to see what makes these QB's different from all the other ones on this forum...and i cant find the difference they are LMB301H diodes in the same form factor. i do feel though that 4 of these lights is better than 1x TS3000 and as for their claim of 240w in a 4.5x4.5... i call nonsense lol its the same tech - for a 4x4 space you will need 4 of those panels. have you spent the money yet? because i shit you not, @Master_G is selling the same spec board manufactured locally you may have seen me reference him a lot of late... i just cant bare to see okes blow all their cash on lights costing more than 10k, when they could get way more bang for their buck
  13. Cool, with your phed water, first water so that the whole meduim is wet, but no runnoff. Let it sit for a few min for the water you added to stabilize in the meduim. Then flush until you have enough runoff to test the runnoff pH and ppm. Then depending on those results you can see if this is just a plain water feed, or if you need to complete the flush. But from what we can see, the completion of the flush is necessary. The test is just for your info
  14. I dono man... Iv been where you are... Meticulous calculations and decimal point readings... And it got all too much at one stage... Anyways, my point is... Maybe you are being a bit too motherly at the moment. Soil and coco meduim tend to self stabilize pH to an extent... So I'm not sure if your different levels of pH are throwing things off... PH changes should be fairly gradual... But consistent... I would maybe change your pH regime to use less pH down fluid by mixing your nutes before adjusting pH, and then stick to a pH for the week... Say 6.1 or 6.2 or 6.3 even as you mentioned the plants are in early flower now and are gonna need the slightly higher pH to account for the drop in pH in early bloom. And then the next week you go down a bit to say 5.8-6.0 and hover there for the remainder of the grow. Are you feeding the plants at every feeding? So 4 times a week? I think that's a bit much too, which could be the cause of the one lady looking a bit unhappy. I think you need to take a runoff reading to see where the pH actually is... And how high the runoff ppm is... Im even tempted to suggest p Fok!! En het nou my eirs verbrand lol I'm even tempted to suggest a flush of that plant with copious amounts of phed water and then resume normal feeding. What you are experiencing is quite a complex problem, where it would seem like a deficiency but is more likely a toxicity due to excess phosphorus in the meduim. Nitrogen deficiency is the yellowing of the mature leaves first from the bottom of the plant - generally new growth is normal still... And a nitrogen tox makes dark green leaves with curled tips. Not quite what you have... You are quite right in saying you have just recently fed her so no deficiency should be present... So adding more nutes now will be to her further detriment.... So toxicity is on the table... But which one??? There are so many symptoms displayed so which can it possibly be?? Iron deficiency... Zinc...... Those are the most prominent that I see... But like you said... You just fed them so you know the nutes are there.... So now we look at lock outs due to excess nutes... And the most common culprit is the sulphor and phosphorus which lock out other nutrients at root level... So actually I think a flush is in order... But let's get some 2nd opinions before anything rash
  15. I agree with @Aeradix, that light is just too small... It has epistar 1w LED's in it apparently... So the diodes aren't bottom of the barrel at least.... But 12w is piddly.... And unless you're trying to grow a single Cola, I would suggest adding another 9 of them to make some resemblance of a light... And this would still be for only one plant. I didn't see a price on the site? What's one 12w globe go for?
  16. If you have a spot where she can go outside during the day, and under the cfls at night... That will also be a plan if you can.
  17. @Teal Smith Give @Master_G a msg... I'm sure he can hook you up with some sick lights with LMB301h diodes @ a friendly price lol. 16k... I'd rather shit in my hands and clap
  18. @adre please consider the options we are suggesting... We get people who are eager to learn, much like yourself, asking this very question, at least once a week What light should I get? This is often after they have already bought the light they feel is gonna grow some bomb ass weed... You are in a position to heed our guidance and not fall prey to gimmicks and poor performing lights. Peace and love bro
  19. What if you are unhappy with the way they grow? And you change the light? Or is this a test to see what it can do in its entirety? I rate 40w is a good guestimate on a fan. Will the tent be open 24/7 too?
  20. For bloom light though, you need to spend the money if you want the results. @Master_G has some new lights manufactured locally that should sort you out. How much space do you have to grow in?
  21. Excellent! What do you have in the meantime? Any lights or seeds you keen on? Tent or cupboard grow?
  22. Nice brooooo! I was wondering how long it would take for you to show up on our doorstep
  23. Let's see what 127w can do! Autos I'm assuming? With the light not as powerful as the TS 3000, I'm curious to see what happens
  24. No full grow... And I'm only using it in flower because I donr have anything else to supplement light haha. And these are for veg mostly... But still the most cost effective light for veg needs... I have a 2.4x1.2m tent.. And 2 of these will be plenty for the entire tent. Light per plant is tricky to determine.... And it's not a usual straight forward answer... It's like asking how long a piece of string is. But! There are guide lines for area calculations.... Remember that veg and flower require different levels and spectrums of light. Veg needing less light and a more blue spectrum... And bloom needing intense light in a more red spectrum. So if you want a light that does veg and bloom... You gonna need to buy a light that can do both... And spend the money But if you wanna speperate your rooms... Then as veg lights go... The Acdc light is my fav. @Master_G has used acdc lights as well without complaints.
  25. Awesome!! Glad to hear she's filling out haha... I don't remember her mom being a late flowerer... I harvested my outdoor at 67 days.. So being indoor you might get a week off that if she allows it And smell? Thanks for the feedback!
