Howzit 420SA Our ''unintended'' grow is doing great. We're enjoying the varieties (who doesnt)and learning about this awesome plant, how to grow it well and the organics that make everything tick. The happy forest. 1. Swazi ladies. Looks like 2 pheno's? 2. Three big girls 3/4/5/6. Non comp Choco ladies getting dank and sticky. Terps are awesome despite their size. (They remained very short and bushy ) Ignore the thrip tracks pls. 7/8. Longest vegging Cheese auto's. 9/10. WW x Cheese lady doing her thing. Very hardy, drought resistant plant. (May have some plans for her.) 11/12. Revegging magic. 13. My Mango kush x Swazi F3's for futher breeding. Been redubbed ''Fruit Punch'' for all the best reasons. Cheers

Morning 420SA Mr Danks Cookie Birds are doing grand. The plants are growing well and handling the heat like champs. They lovin the Seagrow, molasses and epsom- reckon these hungry ladies would feed three times a week if they could...hahaha. (thinking hydro dwc) The greenhouse girls look good but I think they need to go outside, they like wild things....need freedom. You can clearly see the difference. The lady in the 60lit tub has recovered well from the transplant and is showing some fresh new growth. But personally, think the lady outdoor in the earth is looking the best, very beautifull, happy plant. Can't wait for the forest to start flowering. Cheers

Morning fellow Greenfingers, The Vanilla Kush ladies are doing great. Especially the lady in the earth, she is much larger the the potted girls. They have started thickening stems, so preflowering/flower is due to start soon. Still feeding them a veg mix of seagrow, molasses and epsom, they love it and it shows. All recieved some tea yesterday which went down well, happiness all round. Just have to keep on my game with the outside girls wrt ipm as the vegetarian critters are out in force. Most notably aroured scale and mites, which got spotted and sorted early on, thank goodness.

That ups idea is clever. It'll defs help out with loadshitting. I've got no dedicated space indoors, so my whole setup is outdoors exposed to the elements. (Only the cloning setup inside) Had to get creative as it is and dont want to cart stuff back and forth. Trying my best to work smart, not hard. So far so good. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

The foam/biofilm is only an indicator for me, some of my brews have foam and some don't. Important signs are the fresh/earthy/foresty/mushroom smell and in my case with koipond water slightly fishy. The brew before (breakdown brew) stood for a few hours without air/circulation and went sour and stinky. The anaerobic bacteria made it smell bad and that is what you dont want to give your plants. That brew got chucked. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Eishhh this tea brewing is a hazardous thing....haha. Had a hell of a time getting my setup 100% First the airpump gave up the ghost and the fountain pump decided to electrocute me. New airpump, new waterpump and the next brew is looking lekker.[emoji16] Used koipond water with Seagrow, molasses and alfalfa as the fungi love it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

@CreX I can't tell from the photo, could be perlite as you say. @SmokeyZero will have to confirm. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Smokey. Did a bit of research as I've had a similar root growth situation on some of my plants. That looks like root nematode galls. Certain nematodes can be beneficial, but other species are bad for your plants and it seems they can survive in a watery environment ie. hydro. I haven't found a solution for my problem yet, need to do some more digging. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Defs fungi dom samples, she's brewing allready. Liked the ''smell'' story. People always look at me funny when I open the bags a grab a handfull, feel and smell it....hahaha.[emoji3] Never used commercial soils ''out or the bag'' in my teas, as I believe they are pretty sterile. Give them a month or two cooking with garden compost, manure and multiple aact innoculations, that's another story. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Where there is a will there is a way. That spacetote plant looks blerrie good man, irrespective of where or how it was grown. It shows what can be done. Imagine what can be done with a steel cupboard.... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

The ideas for tea's on this thread are awesome.[emoji16] Been slacking a bit with my brews of late, but I got inspired by the posts here. Was pulling nightshift and went for a ramble in a patch of coastal forest, found some good samples(with visible mycelium) for a brew. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

For spidermite you need guns....and more than one, but most products can't be used during flowering so your options become very limited....which sucks. That's why I mentioned Ecobuz, it has worked well for me but you have to apply more than once. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I've had good results with Ecobuz pestpro, contains bacteria that targets spidermite. Saw it at Builders and gave it a go, now it's part of my ipm. I have also read that ash from the braai can also be used for dusting. Not sure if ash and DE have the same sharp microscopic edges. Spidermites are tough bliksems so I like to go at them from multiple angles and wipe them out. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Had a similar problem, needed to upsize, 1x in the earth and 1x 60lit. Those roots are going to love the new freedom. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Touché and in the naked light I saw Ten thousand people, maybe more People talking without speaking People hearing without listening People writing songs that voices never share And no one dared Disturb the sound of silence "Fools, " said I, "You do not know Silence, like a cancer, grows Hear my words that I might teach you Take my arms that I might reach you" But my words, like silent raindrops fell And echoed in the wells, of silence And the people bowed and prayed To the neon god they made And the sign flashed out its warning In the words that it was forming And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls And tenement halls" And whispered in the sounds of silence Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. From a different time. Some of the most evocative lyrics ever even today. The state of nature conservation in our country is...''like a cancer'' Hats off to those involved trying to protect what little is left. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Now you trippin down memory lane... First bankies at the taxi rank with mates, it was shit. Basically majat with more sticks, seeds and leaves than bud...but it did the job hahaha. Then I had the privilege of spending 2jrs in the UK and boy did that change things. Smoked more hash/hashish, as true bud was scarce and expensive. We smoked it every way imaginable. Stone Chillums, bongs, hot knives, Japanese fountains, fruit pipes...it was epic. Back in SA been growing on and off, until 2yrs ago. Bought a bankie from the local Bgf - I wasn't impressed. This awesome plant could be elevated to a new level if grown right, so I said eff this. I will grow, dry and cure it right and smoke my own - haven't bought any weed since. @Dank. They growing well and like you said....hungry and thristy. Relocated the tallest lady (1st pic prev post) this morning to a more accommodating 60lit tub. Gently pulled her out like a solid slug of roots and straight into her new home. Don't like transplanting large plants but it had to be done. She'll slow down for a day or 2 and I expect a strong flush of growth. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
