  1. Had to add the greenhouse girl as well. Unfortunately them bloody mites have gotten to her as you can see from the leaves. If you ever doubted the red spidermite and their damage-those leaves show 7days damage- previous update there was almost nothing. But she has been dosed twice, hopefully those buggers die.
  2. Howzit 420SA, Pic 1-3. A Purple Bud from Seedsman A Indica dominant hydrid that goes purple during lower temps. Got some fris sticky buds developing. We will wait and see what she does. Pic 4-7. Nice frosty WW X CHEESE sativa lady. Sweet and fruity. Pic 8-10. Our inhouse Fruitpunch auto lady doing her thing. Fruity mango scents and solid buds thanks to her Ruderalis moms' roots (pheno A) Pic 11-14. Another Fruitpunch lady leaning more towards her Swazi gold fathers side(pheno B) We wanted big and we got bigger. Pic 15-17. White widow lady struggling to carry her buds. Looks like the plant structure did not develop well enough, but her buds are sweet. Pic 18. The new generation of f3 Fruitpunch auto girls doing their thing.
  3. Aweh fellow florists, This Kush Cookie lady has put on some good weight in all the right places. The north coast weather is against us right now, rain and the south wester is gusting. Luckily these outdoor ladies were planted with this in mind and they are sheltered to a degree. Got some good girth on these buds and the plant structure is strong enough to handle the weight. Colours are around 75%milky and 25%clear, so keeping a close eye on her. Had an explosion of butterflies the last few days, so she also got dosed with Ecobuz pestpro last week, followed by Margaret Roberts worm muti.(rain doesn't help) Cheers
  4. Ahoy, The outdoor Cookie bird lady is doing lekker, despite the wind and rain. We getting hammered with 80-90km/h gusts again today and the predictions for the coming days don't bode well. Her buds have bulked up nicely and the tricomes are starting to go milky. Hoping she'll be ready soon, as I am concerned about budrot with all the rain we've been getting. Sprayed all the girls with Ecobuz pestpro to manage the recurring spidermite issue, follow up with Margaret Roberts for worms a few days later. Can't look at butterflies the same way anymore. Cheers.
  5. That looks like good things to come.... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. It works, the cutting draws up the colour and it looks impressive. BUT be aware.... it is nearly unsmokable afterwards. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. 3 pointed leaves. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. Still early days@zairek Maybe 2 weeks, but she will tell me when she's ready. That specific lady still needs to bulk up a bit. Checking trichs every few days, got a number of ladies are in various stages of flower so have to keep a good eye on them all. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. Check your trichs colours with a loupe or magnifying glass. Many of our girls need support with their buds, I cut bamboo stakes and use that to keep them upright. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks @Vanessa Takelot- SA based distributor. Quite interested to see the winter conditions and the plants reaction. Think it should be good for autos and veggies. Our summer was a bit too hot and humid, so we will be modifying it bit more to improve ventilation and airflow for next summer. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. Took a quick pic this morning. Girls are doing well, most are in flower- various stages. But I'm not without issues. Still battling the Fusaria fungal problem, it's only affecting certain plants, only 3 so far. Might have been a bad batch of soil from the nursery, I dont know. The cinnamon and honey mix seems to check it for about a week and then it carries on, starving branches of nutes untill it wilts completely. The clove and nicotine sprays keep the worms and spidermites in check but those mites are hardy buggers and keep coming back. Need more companion plants to keep them busy. Funny enough my outdoor ladies are experiencing far less issues than in the greenhouse/tunnel. First Fruitpunch babies have germed for the start of the winter grow. Stay safe and grow well. Peace 420SA
  12. Bliksem....no such thing here either. You guys are lucky down in the Cape. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. Nice recovery. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. Aweh....fellow Greenfingers. The potted Vanilla Kush lady showed good colours, mostly milky with a dash of amber. Trimming was a breeze, 5 days drying and into the jars the went. All told she weighed in at 143gr dry. Blazed some testers and MAN were they tasty. A sweet almost fruity scent, tastewise wise we still undecided- mix between pineapple sugus and winegums. Hahaha.... It was all good. Can't wait for the Big Girl. Awesome stuff thanks for the beans @Dank
  15. Ahoy... One Cookie Bird lady putting on some weight in all the right places.
  16. I've had plants do that when they reveg, but some of my earlier Mango Kush ladies had 3 pointed leaves and they were grown from seed. Maybe some genetic anomaly caused it but, I'm sure it's not always a mutation. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  17. They doing great. 2x Ladies in the greenhouse are still flowering (checking trichs). Only harvested 1x outdoor girl so far.(taste tests were very good) Still got a big lady in the ground with about another week to go. But will do an proper update on the thread. 18. The forest of delight is starting to get yummy. 1/2. The GG cut from @Mambawana Looking pretty, she's putting on weight and started leaning over, will be needing extra support. 3/4. Our FruitPunch lady doing what she does best and getting top heavy. We had some heavy rain for a few days last week, some of the outdoor ladies started drooping. I'm assuming it was a sign of ''over watering'',luckily the rain stopped and they all looking perky again.
  19. Ahoy@Dank We also enjoy the Swazi flavours, we have 3 ladies, all cuts from last year as we couldnt procure any swazi pollen. They just started preflowering- very late starters. The Fruitpunch leans heavily to the moms fruity sweet mango flavours, but some of the Swazi citrus does sneak in. We like the way the buds form all along her stem and branches, with the minimum of sugar leaves- she's a breeze to trim. The babies planted out yesterday have peaked above ground and some are allready 30mm tall. 12 out of 20 isn't terrible for year old beans. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  20. Ahoy fellow horticulturists. Been doing some breeding work with our self dubbed ''Fruitpunch'' cross. This lady is the preliminary result of what was started with our Mango kush last year. She showed very vigorous germination and growth, compact strong structure. Soaked the beans 12hrs, transferred to moist paper towel for 24hrs and boom.... 10-20mm taproots, transplanted to soil this morning and they peaking out the soil this afternoon. They want to grow. She is relatively mould and drought resistant and technically an autoflower due to her Ruderalis roots. Introduced some Swazi gold genes to boost her structure and resistance. Harvested about 100 beans from her. Results so far are very positive, she is ticking most of the boxes for what I want from her. Some of my companion plants (gemsquash/butternut) have pm on them but none of my other plants, which to me, is a very good sign. Thinking of doing do a backcross to stabilise this wily lady.
  21. Aweh...@Mambawana Some pics of the organic GG as promised She took well to the organic soil frosty and terpy.
  22. Cool man, thats almost like a ''humble beginnings'' story. She's all grown up now, giving my ''Fruitpunch'' a run for the money..hehe. I'll post a pic later on. If she had more time to veg, she would have been a dank frosty monster.....[emoji3] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
