  1. That training was nerve racking to say the least.....hahaha.[emoji3] Earlier attempts didn't go well, I'm thinking because they grow so fast, the stems wouldn't bend well without bad damage. So I postponed training. Also never thought they would stretch that far, but they did - so how to fix it?. Took a chance here, as I don't like to manipulate the plant that much, so late in the game due to stress issues on top of the frikken heat. Took it slow and she was recovering nicely, branches started turning upwards today. No wind breaks....thank goodness. They got fed well yesterday and tomorrow their next AACT will be ready. Hoping for best. One plant in the greenhouse I've left to grow its own way, just out of curiosity. There are always schoolfees to be paid and learning to be had. At least this I enjoy. 2. Lekker, if the ladies are praying thats awesome.....have used brown sugar and oats in teas before, just make sure the brew doesn't warm up- cause the oats can start a fermentation process with the sugars=turn into a bad brew with alcohols. Adding some diy seaweed FPJ to my latest brew - fyi....the stuff still smells awfull but the ladies love it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. We grow organic outdoors and change the plants' nutrient ratios once the are in flower. ''Generally'' it doesn't matter what brand you feed, they all have feeding schedules, if it is cannabis specific just follow the recommendations. In veg the plants require more Nitrogen than P and K. In flower it's the other way around, more P and K than N. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. Those ladies look very happy. What are you feeding in flower? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. Looks like she recovered well, the winds can do some damage. Hope she rewards you for your efforts. She does stretch a bit, but the colas on my lady shows a lot of promise. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Any thoughts

Soap and canola oil mix will also work. Soap for wetting agent and canola oil to suffocate the buggers. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. Evening 420SA, Mr Dank's Vanilla Kush Cookies are doing awesome. They turning out to be really beautifull plants. The lady in the earth(pic 1 far right) has started her stretch and looks like she may need support later on.(wall is 2m) The plant in pic 2 is also stretching and some nice colas seem to be building. Almost pompom time....!!! They all got some fishy goodness from my koi pond when I cleaned the filters. Still on the veg feed with Seagrow, molasses and AACT with added seaweed FPJ. IPM wise spraying Margaret R for wormies and some diy clove spray for mites which all seem to be under control, dankie tog. Lekker.
  8. Evening gromies, Mr Dank's Cookie Birds are doing too awesome. The plant in the ground is growing really well and looks to be in the pre flower stretch.(pic 1 middle plant) One lady's stretching has become an unstrategic problem, hence the unplanned training.(pic 2) With the pot she was reaching well over 2m and was becoming too visible. Wasn't keen on digging holes in the lawn. The next 2 girls in the greenhouse are about 1.8 and 2m tall. They all got some fishy goodness when I cleaned out my koi pond filters. Otherwise still on veg feeding with Seagrow, molasses and epsom. Alternating with AACT(with seaweed FPJ)and clean rainwater. Sprayed the ladies down last week with Margaret R for worms and caterpillars as the butterflies were too abundant. Cheers
  9. That's cool cause everyone likes a nice surprise. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  11. Had a look at this one. Good stuff about organics, Soil Food Web etc. Clarifies many things and confirmed a lot of theories. Organic is the way to go, especially outdoors. Thanks for the link. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. I've lived in this area most of my 4 decades. There is bush, veld and forests all around us here. Encountered a few... The good. Many bush snakes, rescued a number of red lip heralds and 1 or 2 brown house snakes and a small rock python. The bad. Mozambique spitters, Green mambas, rinkhals. Relocated by the local snake catcher... I'll corner them with a long pole so the don't disappear and wear glasses for the spitters. The ugly. Black mambas, puffy's, night adders and gaboon adders.... I stay the f$@k away from. Black mambas are the worst and they are much faster than you think.. lightning quick. Identification/education is the key, I studied a few books. If you know which ones are non venomous and which aren't, it helps a lot. People shouldnt blindly go about killing all snakes, they control many pests and vermin. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. Green bush snakes are common here. They are non venomous, the mambas and puffy's are the ones to watch out for.... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. Good stuff.[emoji16] You hit the ground running. The ladies look happy, I'm sure they will reward you well. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

The resolution on the pics don't allow you to zoom in enough to see properly and there seems to be a lot of debris as well. Plenty hiding places that could make for an attractive spot for goggas. Have read that you can/should hose your plants down with water to clear the debris,(from top and underneath) there by making it unattractive to pests. The visible damage on the leaves looks like it could be aphids and or spidermites. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  16. Natal Green bush snake came for a visit. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  17. That is a nice canopy and she looks healthy. Gonna be good when she start going colas. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  18. Howzit 420SA Our ''unintended'' grow is doing great. We're enjoying the varieties (who doesnt)and learning about this awesome plant, how to grow it well and the organics that make everything tick. The happy forest. 1. Swazi ladies. Looks like 2 pheno's? 2. Three big girls 3/4/5/6. Non comp Choco ladies getting dank and sticky. Terps are awesome despite their size. (They remained very short and bushy ) Ignore the thrip tracks pls. 7/8. Longest vegging Cheese auto's. 9/10. WW x Cheese lady doing her thing. Very hardy, drought resistant plant. (May have some plans for her.) 11/12. Revegging magic. 13. My Mango kush x Swazi F3's for futher breeding. Been redubbed ''Fruit Punch'' for all the best reasons. Cheers
  19. Morning 420SA Mr Danks Cookie Birds are doing grand. The plants are growing well and handling the heat like champs. They lovin the Seagrow, molasses and epsom- reckon these hungry ladies would feed three times a week if they could...hahaha. (thinking hydro dwc) The greenhouse girls look good but I think they need to go outside, they like wild things....need freedom. You can clearly see the difference. The lady in the 60lit tub has recovered well from the transplant and is showing some fresh new growth. But personally, think the lady outdoor in the earth is looking the best, very beautifull, happy plant. Can't wait for the forest to start flowering. Cheers
  20. That is just sad. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  21. Morning fellow Greenfingers, The Vanilla Kush ladies are doing great. Especially the lady in the earth, she is much larger the the potted girls. They have started thickening stems, so preflowering/flower is due to start soon. Still feeding them a veg mix of seagrow, molasses and epsom, they love it and it shows. All recieved some tea yesterday which went down well, happiness all round. Just have to keep on my game with the outside girls wrt ipm as the vegetarian critters are out in force. Most notably aroured scale and mites, which got spotted and sorted early on, thank goodness.
  22. That ups idea is clever. It'll defs help out with loadshitting. I've got no dedicated space indoors, so my whole setup is outdoors exposed to the elements. (Only the cloning setup inside) Had to get creative as it is and dont want to cart stuff back and forth. Trying my best to work smart, not hard. So far so good. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  23. The foam/biofilm is only an indicator for me, some of my brews have foam and some don't. Important signs are the fresh/earthy/foresty/mushroom smell and in my case with koipond water slightly fishy. The brew before (breakdown brew) stood for a few hours without air/circulation and went sour and stinky. The anaerobic bacteria made it smell bad and that is what you dont want to give your plants. That brew got chucked. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  24. Eishhh this tea brewing is a hazardous thing....haha. Had a hell of a time getting my setup 100% First the airpump gave up the ghost and the fountain pump decided to electrocute me. New airpump, new waterpump and the next brew is looking lekker.[emoji16] Used koipond water with Seagrow, molasses and alfalfa as the fungi love it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  25. @CreX I can't tell from the photo, could be perlite as you say. @SmokeyZero will have to confirm. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
