Grower on the cannabist area said he had bought from him, and was local and collected it in person. Not sure if he has had time to grow it and if I can find that post, will link you to it. At least legit in that there was a successful transaction.

I actually had 2 friends that bought separate QB setups from them. 1 went smoothly and without a hitch... the other not so much. The order in question was a 120w lm301h QB with additional red and UV. The light came in at R3000 (since then the price has bumped up to R3600) After some emails to confirm the order my friend received confirmation that the order will be delayed till the end of the month due to lockdown and Covid-19 implications. Which was totally understandable. They offered a full refund or free delivery and 5 free seeds from Bulk Seed bank asdvertised for sale on their website. Happy with the purchase and willing to wait he opted for the free seeds. The order eventually arrived but without the seeds as promised. The light was atleast a decent true representation of the advertised piece even though there is only 1 picture on their website to compare it with... After 3 unanswered emails to enquire on the seeds my friend is still waiting.. in this case I think there is just too much on offer product wise and too little on offer customer service wise. With the cannabis industry booming in SA it is easy to see a great business opportunity to try and flog products to avid customers. The problem lies in the business ethic and integrity of the company/person you are dealing with. If a product is unavailable mark it as out of stock. If it is a made to order product, make a note on the product description to state the same. If you delay an order and offer a comprise, keep to your promise... just keep it real and the support of your business will grow.. Or else you might just get screwed like Cannabist..

On my friends side... no refund, no lamp.. just more emails to say sorry. Time just passes.. they ruined him a grow with their lies and moron circus, selfish little pricks. If nothing is coming this week, Police gets involved. Fun is over.. I actually start to get mad now.. how can you not be able to do what you promise for 2 weeks??? God damn liars... sorry.. supporting those dudes is just not good for the grow community.. like Cannabist.. the name is gone by now.

What do you want from your weed? Where are your tastes? I love a haze for example. Super energetic for when I want to get busy. They are the most iffi and hardest to grow imo, take long to flower, not a beginner's plant nor really suited to indoor. But I also love kush hybrids. They offer a nice balance and make up my every day smoke. From my own stable, I recommend Bubbleberry Glue, Triple Chocolate, or Bubba kush. All three finish flowering in 8-9 weeks, are terpene packed, high in THC, and express as indica, with decent yields if you train. Perfect for indoors. They are available through Cannabist. In the end the only way you are going to find what you really want is to start somewhere and explore the very vast expanse of what cannabis has to offer.

Take a peek at some seed sites and see what tickles your fancy... @Cannabist Biltong and buds are some great places to start. But the deal is... Once you choose the seeds... I have a Monster Bruce Banner auto I'm currently growing under one of the 125W GreenLeaf QB, I got 5 MBB seeds from @Cannabist. It draws 109Watt at the wall. I normally grow hydroponic, but with this one I got a 40 liter material bag and some Just Cannabis Craft Cannabis Coco-peat Soil. The nice thing is that I just give it rain water every two to three days and it's growing beautiful.

Getting quality LED's locally for that price is difficult, even importing some quality stuff right now works out a bit pricey. I saw @Cannabist was looking at doing some DIY LED kits, not sure on his pricing but that may be a suitable option.

Hi, thanks all for the feedback and suggestions. I was expecting one 200QB to cut it. Well, thank goodness i asked the question. @Cannabist, i would be very interested in building my own light. Not only for saving a few Rands but for the sake of DIY :). I could probably push a bit more cash into a light or start with a smaller tent (not that 80x80 would be much different i guess). @Cannabist,Im very interested in what you can get and what i can expect to fork over for something decent to grow the dank. reading through the provided manual to see I'll be able to. thanks again

Finding QB's for that price is difficult, with the new exchange rate its going to become even more of a challenge and probably extremely unlikely / near impossible. For your sized tent I'd say you'd at least want 2x QB288's so something a bit more powerful (more LED's) than that qb200 on the GrowOpz site. Both those lights are also out of stock. Maybe see if @Cannabist still has stock of his Samsung lights that he's willing to sell otherwise I'm not sure you'll find something worthwhile in your budget to be honest.

Good day, so I lost my all my other seedlings,to heat,month or 2 ago. But trying again, not giving up. So this run we doing GG#4 (4) X GSC (Cannabist) ,GSC (4) (cannabist ) and Washing Machine (ripper seeds) (1) . Plus have Cape cheese mother from GSR,which I will be cloning. And white Skunk #1 mother from GSR . I will be doing a sea of green method this time. Once I find the right mothers from the seeds above, will be using those for all my grows. Using 2 x 400w HPS Will be grown in super soil, I mixed myself. Plus I have gone in KNF and incoperated imo3 into my soil mix. Nutrients, I will be using my own, homemade. As per Korean natural farming. For the would run. Temperatures have been consistently at 22 to 28, for the last few week. Busy flowering out,cheese, skunk and kush. Will do a weekly post.

Congrats on the harvest @Bospatrollie2 ! Super stoked that the early taste is good, sugus and winegums sound right, should smell like a candystore when trimming! These buds usually taste best after about a month in the jar (some phenos can taste bitter until 4 weeks+), and the effects will be much stronger when she is all cured Thanks for all the effort man, when our country switches on again we must talk about a pack you would like from the @Cannabist store, I think you deserve the prize I mentioned in the Spring drop last year, Peace and Buds bro, very cool experience watching your diaries, thanks again!
