  1. Not ideal but it's chilled!! Reflected light and general ambient light is still an okay source of light. More important is, how dark does the night cycle get and stay? Does the lounge light not shine onto it?
  2. Looking awesome man!! Have you had any pests in bloom?
  3. In DWC, pH drops dramatically in early flower and you will need to make sure it doesn't get as low as 4.5 ever. In veg DWC I pH my water to 6.0 at res reset... But in early bloom I set pH at 6.5 due to the massive drop in pH. PH drops due to the massive uptake of potassium and phosphorus for root zone development, and then again in late bloom when she stacks. Make sure your pH doesn't drop lower than 5.5 and you will be okay. Potassium and phosphorus are much easier absorbed at a pH above 6.2. Other than that the plants look okay... What light are they getting?
  4. Looks more like they have just been flipped... Barely a week into flower... You have them in sun? Iv done and outdoor DWC and it was amazing!! But what do your roots look like and what are you feeding them
  5. Yup, too intense light should never be a concern... I would pin in on high general Temps, and like @Mambawana said, nute burn.. What are your average Temps?
  6. Citradelic sunset no1
  7. Alright bois and girls!. My first run is slowly coming to fruition. The Slurijuggs are finishing fastest, citradelic sunsets just behind, and the early lemon berry coming in last.
  8. Thank you and well done!! It takes a leap of faith to trust this method, but boy you don't regret it!! Now that you have an established root system, I would go ahead and chop all the dead brown yuck looking roots off and let the new roots explode even more! I have found that I use less nutrients when I incorporate teas in my regime
  9. One outdoor lady can easily provide more than 600 dry... But 600 dry is still a decent amount... If this is the case... I can live with that
  10. He is growing in soil, so it would hold a bit more water than coco... And not dry out as fast. Iv found that even with low RH, a 20l soil pot takes a good 3 days to become light enough to water again. Where as an outdoor coco pot of 20l would dry up in a day and a half and probably wilt by the end of day 2.
  11. For the hortimix, the online feeding program is for hydro and needs to differ a bit for soil and coco. I have found that my previously mentioned formula works well in coco... But adds too much nitrogen for soil applications. Which works okay in veg... But in bloom the nitrogen tox shows up pretty quick in my soil plants. Also... That hortimix schedule keeps getting higher and higher each week which does not work. You need to get to a level. Only way to do that is with an EC or ppm meter, do you have one?
  12. Plants are looking good and green... Maybe a little too green. I disregarded the hortimix scheme as it does not fit my schedule. In veg I went 1 part A 1 part B and 1 part MPK In early flower I went 1:1:2 And now in mid flower I am going 1:0.5:2 and they are looking great. How often do you feed?
  13. Keen for you to get going again yo!
  14. Grow is looking great!! I think part B has the bulk of the nitrogen being only calcuim nitrate, cut back a Lil on that one... But if you are following the feeding scheme hortimix provides, then you should be fine... And iv been telling these guys!! Milk helps so much for PM!!

    Random grow?

Looking super sweet man!! Really proper!!
  16. Sweet... Lots of cool shit happening here... I'll stick around for this one. Tell us more about your homemade stuff

    Hiho

Hahaha what's uuuuuup!!! Hit us up with some pics yo!
  18. While you may be right, I feel the need to say that we are growing Marijuana... And they need quite a tight pH range. Adjusting pH to accommodate the microbes, while potentially putting the medium out of an acceptable range might not provide the right growing conditions for cannabis to thrive. I have found that the microbes and fungi regulate pH by themselves and adjustments aren't really needed. I have also found that fungi and bacteria thrive if they have access to food, and while adjusting pH might improve their growth... It's really not needed. Plant roots feed carbohydrates to the microbes and fungi and keep the population growing and or adequate.
  19. Very cool, I haven't really thought about this much... But I can see it's value. I will go back to the the key, which is diversity. If you have established a strong microbial colony in your medium with teas, you will only be adding to the diversity with new tea recipes, bacteria /fungi dominant teas... The new tea doesn't replace, or deminish the current microbial life In the medium. If the good bacteria has colonized the roots properly, and the mycorrhizal fungi has established a good food web... Changing the type of tea you make, really won't make a massive difference. As for the nitrogen fixing bacteria, you shouldn't be feeding the plants much nitrogen in flower anyways... And adding a fungi Dom tea won't lessen the work the existing microbes are doing. Remember, all we are doing is innoculating the medium, and making sure we keep a good amount, by more teas. So if you were to only start with teas in flower, I'd make a more fungi leaning tea like you mentioned, and if I started in veg, I would make a bacteria Dom tea. Or stick to my 5050 mix vibes DIVERSITY IS THE KEY
  20. I made such a nice tea over the weekend, but forgot to take any pics!! I used my normal shit... Stood water, Humic acids Molasses - I ran out and didn't have enooooough, so I added some brown sugar just to get it to the end of the brew. Small handful of oats - love it Mycorrhizal fungi Off milk And a sample of soil from an old pile of soil... Smelled earthier than most soils I smell... And boy I was not disappointed!! Every tea I make seems to be just so much better than the last haha. The ladies loved it and showed me by praying. I'll take pics next time guys!! Ps- I dump the solid bits from the tea, left over soil from the tea bag, and some tea.... To my cacti and pineapple plant... So much goodness right there
