Thanks guys. TerpLoc Bags are available here, but if you're going to order other things from Hydroponic.co.za then throw the TerpLoc bags in and spread the love. If your local grow shop doesn't have them, ask them to get in touch.7 points

We did a test with some hygrometers and they work exactly as advertised. Not always the case in this industry. Other great benefits are stealth due to being odour free and terpene preservation from being air and light tight. Anti-static properties prevents trichome loss. Does not require humidipacks. The list goes on. Gave away our jars since we started using TerpLoc Bags.5 points

Greetings Weed Lovers! Wow time really does fly. I will do an update over the weekend. Managed to get them all to the end with no major problems. This was my best harvest personally, not quantity but definitely quality. A lil sneek peak Rock hard nugs, pungent deliciousness, sticky icky goodness.3 points

Hey Fellow Growers, I've started a new grow recently and I'll be posted updates here. 2x Quarter Pounder Autos (3 day germination, planted 4/10/2020) 1x Slurricane clone (Not sure about the age) Not yet added: 2x Do-si-dos photoperiod (I'll germinate these when the autos go into flower so that I can flip them after I harvest the autos) Lighting - 130 watt LED quantum board 3500k from @growopz . I'll add my QB75 when they start to flower. Medium - Orgasoilux organic living earth blend. Nutes - Biobizz grow, seagro, molasses, biobizz bloom.2 points

@zolrooker They had a big shock when i transfered them to soil. Still stunted but at least all 5 alive. After the heavy rain last weekend im having ph problems and a few lockouts outdoor. The Dr grinspoon looks weird and hardly has any bud, but its loaded with seeds. Should make interesting crosses. Everything is pollinated.2 points

Yep exactly! I've already learnt so much from this grow, can't wait to see my results and see how the next grows turn out2 points
-
I have tried some of the 14g and 28g bags and they do work. I placed some very dry bud in a bag and after a day it wasn't that dry. They do work but find some of the zip locks on 1 or 2 bags are not as effective. The price is really good and was my deciding factor to try it out, cheaper than a Boveda and Glass Jar.2 points

So 22 days in I am very happy with the growth. But I am starting to see some issues with my wedding gelato. Not sure whether it is wind burn or the fact that I didn't PH balance my water for the first couple of feeds? I have started feeding Worm Juice with Calmag and slight molasses with a PH range between 6.3 and 6.7. Within the next week I will consider topping some of the ladies to start the mainline training. Franco's lemon cheese was killed in action - RIP so Chocolate Haze will fill that void. One day I will do a K.I.A run for all those ladies that didn't pull through on germination. Good day growmies.. I was gifted a tobaco plant and was wondering if any body on here might have grown some and maybe have some pointers for me..1 point

Now that's what I'm talking about. Way too many companies and individuals out there are just about me, me and making maximum cash. Big up to you@Aeradix on showing that spreading the love is still a thing in today's world. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

Looks like a female straight onto training. How far along not sure not keeping track but planning on potting up to 40L soon and putting her in a partial greenhouse space I managed to put together. Also planning on working with this potted soil throughout the season. So let’s see how the first plant does...1 point

They do regulate both ways, but if you're in an extremely dry area this will be limited and a humidipak will help. Below is another nice picture showing the benefits.1 point

yup, @FreesoulGP, looks like you are indeed in the harvest window. the trichomes look milky to me so you should have a decent smoke if you chop now. Do yourself a favour though and try get something that you can get a closer up view of the trichomes for much easier identification. i have found that harvesting with little amber results in a smoke i am not entirely happy with. it is euphoric, but doesnt hit my quota of stoooooned that i like. so maybe if you like a bit of a stone to your high, hang off another week and see how it looks i used to aim for 10% amber, but now i like it a bit higher, 20% is good for my taste1 point

Bru I haven't had Mac D's since pre lockdown and I never thought twice about it. Now you got me hanging for a quarter pounder and cheese meal1 point

Yeah, get them in the ground. Full sun. Very little to no nutrients. Water often, daily or every second day depending. Basically keep soil moist. If you want seeds then let the flowers grow until the seed stalks dry out. But if it's for the leaf, then you need to pluck off the developing flower stalks on the sides and top. Removing flowers will give you massive leaves. Leaving the flowers to develop the leaves are way smaller.1 point

That is the stuff i check for a seller in the US and ship to my planet express address. Pool with other parcels and ship further to SA over DHL.1 point

@zolrooker plant it you won't be dissapointed, I was also under the impression for many years that good skuif is all about THC and didn't pay attention to anything else but I learned my lesson the hard way why CBD content is so important even if its a small amount - one day I smoked a double bladder of some bud (forgot what it was) with a really high THC but only .02+/- CBD content (according to dispensary) so I roll it up and the first half of the joint was loving it, super nice flavour, decent strength, no complaints & puffing away nicely, but on the second half of the joint 5 minutes in the stone is coming on nicely but something started feeling off i got this overwehelming wave of nausiating warmth with an urgent need to sit cause it felt my knees couldn't support my weight, forehead covered im sweat, was litterally vibrating from feeling super tingly & super anxious lol I was like WTF cause I constantly smoked strains with 20%+ and it never made me anxious or anything like that so the dude at dispensary highlighted the fact that that strain has almost no CBD in it to counteract the THC & I wasn't the first to complain That's when I learnt every cannabinoid has its place1 point

Nicely done dude. A lot of blood, sweat, tears and money went into that! Next one will be easier for sure.1 point

Looks very white.. so nope, wait for the sugar leaves to turn amber 100%, they turn first. When you see some color on the calyx's, I wait for 50% white / 50% amber before I cut. Patience1 point

Meaning by seeded like has seeds inside the heads? On that no....dont have any male plants. On the other had i did grow it from a seed. Autoflower- northen lights1 point

For awesome grow results. Try a very diluted seagrow foliar feeding but only between 7 to 10 am and then after 5 pm. As the receptors underneath the leaves are then open to take in nutrients And try burning a small candle near your plants . The candle produces Co2 which the plants love. But please dont put the candle too near the plants. The heat may scorche them. I had a 7 cm grow for a week. Where i normally avriaged on a 3 cm grow. Try and see the improvement Sent from my SM-A700F using Tapatalk1 point

It doesn't really matter much with 24/7 lighting, although factors to consider are also based on your light cycle. Typically one waters when the lights are on, as mentioned best to avoid watering close to lights off - although if you are unable to water when lights come on then I really do not feel as if its an issue. With my blumat watering system, it waters when the medium dries out - so as and when needed really. Haven't had issues.1 point

Thanks for the info. Theres other guys that said i must go lower than 1000w.... soo jaaa its a bit confusing thats i used ma the inbetween 600w MH lamp and then HPS for flowering.... Havent heard of quantum boards yet...will do a bit of google on those1 point
-
Personally I think 600W MH for those sized plants (and especially from seed for that matter) is way too much power. I can mainline two different plants fully throughout veg with just a single 250W MH, and even then I'm only going to use 400W HPS in flower for two plants, 16 colas total between them. I'd use 600W MH/HPS if I were growing a SCrOG per 1.2m², and even then if you can afford a 600W kit you'd then rather go 250W Quantum Board cause then you don't need as much cooling plus you get better spread. But these are recent lessons of mine and I'm doing one more round with the bulbs before converting myself over fully to Quantum Boards.1 point

@Freshlypicked dial in your watering and u will be ok. Overwatering stunts young plants quite badly. Im assuming u have good extraction and intake for fresh o2. Not having good airflow can slow things down as well.1 point
-
Got any idea what you pH is like? They look like they were stunted. The autoflower won't do you too much I rate. The phenos could still recover over time. You using 600W MH at the moment yeah?1 point

Not even 'ultimate' grow, just 'a' grow. Let's get the basics down first. Look for cannabis specific soils such as Freedom Farms Classic, Just Cannabis and Living Organics. Or when you notice the price of organic nutrients, you may decide to go coco and use hydroponic nutrients. If I had to make a guess the Swazi is probably photo. I am not aware of an auto swazi.1 point
-
Im using seedling mix that i bought. I did buy pertile for my next batch. What type of medium must i use to get ultimate growth? I have one auto strain....the other 3 swazi gold....dont know if its auto or photo...1 point
-
Precisely. Just wanted to confirm if they're autos before commenting this because I know a lot of growers like to start autos in the final pot. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point
-
Your soil looks like it contains lot's of bark etc which cannabis doesn't like so much in my experience. What soil are you using?1 point
-
Are they auto strains or photo?... Also, I would suggest to mix in some Perlite if you plan on using the same type of medium for your next grow Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

It's the other way around actually hehe. MH for veg because of the 6000k colour And HPS is for flower for the very orange red 2700k light Good for having both bru!!1 point
-
Okay thank you for the assistance. I do have the MH bulb also. On the internet they say the MH must be used for flowering stage....thats why i have the HPS bulb on currently. The other thing is i did keep the light on 24hours but someone said i must do 18hours light and 6 hours darkness. I will def top the swazi when its got a bit bigger1 point
