  1. Good luck hunting! Hope you'll find a lot of keepers.
  2. Stunning looking buds! Awesome training you had going on there. Hope she smoke nicely and look forward to the smoke report.
  3. @TheUltimateNoob, how did I never notice this growlog before... Beautiful flowers you got there. I grew the Inzane outdoor and am impressed by the potency every evening. Best Sativa leaning bud I've had so far. Will you do a smoke report once cured? Woul be interested if your smoke turns similar to mine.
  4. @Popcoen Hi, just mixed my own batch for summer season. I would give you my input regarding ingredients but since I am new to this I'd rather like you have a look at the already tested and prooven soil mixes. There are two recipes in the organic growing section. I think one is by @Totemic and the other by @Green Leaf Organicss These two threads are gold if you're new to this... lots of valuable info. Super Soil is a very complex topic that needs a lot of research to understand what each ingredient is doing.
  5. @Rob189Ah I see, therefore you've got a beautiful climate for cannabis. It's been a few years but it's one of my favourite places in south Africa.
  6. Jep, I also just saw it for 169. Someone got a nice bonus there...
  7. @Rob189Hi, I am sure you'll be fine with 'just cannabis' soil. Heard only good things about it so far.
  8. Love to see the baby being happy and healthy bro. I would have started feeding her now too.
  9. Thanks guys, really appreciate your input! @ORGANinc.,jep it's a beautiful morning here in WC... and it's even better after a nice breakfast vape . I mixed my soil in the beginning of June and intend on germinating my first batch of seeds on the 1st of October and the second on 31st of October. So the first batch will get soil that cooked for 3 months. I'll keep you guys posted how it goes.
  10. Hi everyone, my soil is cooking (first time I made my own super soil) and I read up on the layering part. Subcool recommended to layer the soil and put a layer of super soil into the bottom of the container and cover it with regular soil. Background is not to burn the roots of the young plants during early stages of their life. After reading some forum posts on other growing forums I saw that many growers do not layer their soil and still have decent outcomes. What is your take on it? Do you layer your soil mix or do you think it's not really necessary?
  11. @Bospatrollie2beautiful! Curious how they'll react to the SST. I will try it too this summer season.
  12. @Bakstein420Bakstein420thanks for sharing. I didn't even know there’s a biobizz feeding chart for FF soil.
  13. Hi @Louis, I used the biobizz range myself and I would interpretate it as follows: 1st week: 4ml root Juice 2nd week: 2ml Fish mix 3rd week: 3ml Fish mix 4th week: 3ml grow / 2ml bloom 5th week: 3ml grow / 3ml bloom 6th week: 4 ml grow / 3ml bloom / 2ml topmax 7th week: 4 ml grow / 4ml bloom / 3ml topmax 8th week: 4ml grow / 4ml bloom / 4ml topmax 9th week: see week 8 10th week flush. That's how I would interpretate it and how it makes sense. Correct @afternoon blazer and @Prom?

    New grow

This is promising to get interesting! Wish I would have enough space for a project like that. I am going to watch this space
  15. Stunning man, those pictures justmake me want to take a bite!
  16. Thanks man , I need to check out Dabuddha. But I take it needs to be plugged in isn't it? Then it's a bit complicated. I need to be a bit sneaky if you know what I mean ;). @Deliciousthanks for the tip! At some point I figured that out, but even lightly packed there’s this resistance that I got used to but sometimes I wish for less resistance while taking a drag. For me the ultimate vaping device is the mighty but it's sooo pricey...
  17. Nice thread! I started using my vape after 4 years of a break and stuck with it ever since. I got my Arizer Solo since four years now and used it nearly every day. What I like about it is the full and vapor and taste it delivers. I am still surprised it's still working perfectly. The only downside is the fact that you really need to drag strongly to get out the vapor. The airflow just sucks. Never heard anything about the Arizer ArGo. Has any of you had the Arizer Solo and Arizer ArGo? If so do you think the ArGo is better in terms of airflow, flavor, etc?
  18. Hi bro, the photos have plenty of time to recover and are generally more forgiving when it comes to grower mistakes. When an Autoflower gets stunted you'll possibly end up with very little yield. Yes, it's possible that autos are not as sensitive to lower temperatures due to the ruderalis genetics, but in general the rule of thumb is to try and not go lower than 15 degrees Celsius. Last season I grew them during coolish night temperatures and it went well. What I try to do this season is to fine tune my grow as much as possible.
  19. Thanks guys for the input it's much appreciated . What I normally do is germinate the seeds inside but put them out not long after the seedlings broke through the surface. Buying new things at the moment isn't an option (have been retrenched due to covid) so I need to make use of what I can use that's already available. However I like Crex's idea as I think these items are fairly cheap, so I might go that route... I am not so much worried about my photoperiod plants, it's more something I have in mind for the Autoflowers. Back to brainstorming. I am sure I will come up with more stuff.
  20. Hi everyone, yesterday evening I was thinking about how I can improve my outdoor grow. Let me quickly explain how I got to my idea. I do germinate my seeds according to the moon. I checked and saw that fullmoon this year will be either on 1st of October or 31st of October if i remember correctly. Now germinating on the 1st of October is a bit of a gamble when it comes to night temps in the Western Cape. Last year I germinated in the end of September and we had quite a few nights that were around 10 degrees celsius, which can slow down growth. I grow a combination of Autoflowers and photoperiod plants so I am especially worried about the Autos as the do not forgive any mistake. I had decent results after all, but I think it might have been better to just wait a month for higher night temperatures... However I know it will be tough for me to wait for the 31st of october this year. I just want to plant asap because I am addicated to growing ! This is why I tried to come up with a solution. I think the most important thing is to keep the temperature around the roots around 20 degrees at night (correct me if you feel I am wrong here). Ok so now this is my idea. I thought of using an aquarium heater in a water reservoir to keep the water around 20 degrees. A pump will pump water trough some tubing which will go directly through the soil in my fabric pots and will then be diverted back into the waterreservoir. So basically the heated water will circulate and keep the temperature around the roots at a nice temperature. I googled a bit and found a company that already did some research on this and it looks quite promising. Below you'll find a link if you're interested (it's going to be a PDF File). http://rootssat.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Roots-Heating-Cooling-Cannabis-FINAL.pdf I will also add a little drawing I made soon for better understanding. What do you think about this? Is it nonsense? Have you tried doing something like that already? Thanks a lot for your input.
  21. @PapaSpliffHi, in my experience the night temperture shouldn't be lower than 15 degrees Celsius otherwise your plants growth will slow down. Of course it depends a bit on the genetics you grow. Maybe check the monthly average temperatures for your area and germinate accordingly.
  22. This will be the plant I will test my soil on. It's an Inzane in the membrane cross with a mistery strain. Don't know how it got pollinated... Maybe my neighbour doesn't know how to identify males. Let's she how she'll take it.
  23. @CreXjeah I think I saw your vortex already which looks quite neat! But my budget doesn't really allow me to purchase the pump which is why I might settle for a basic 'bubbler in the bucket' system. Eventually I will build a vortex though. And thanks for the feedback on the sprout tea. I guess I'll also use it for my other veggies. I'll check your thread now.
  24. Thanks @SkunkPharm let's see what the tea will do to my plants. I'll send you a list shortly.
