  1. @BluntKnife, you can mix 1-2 tea spoons of epsom salt with 4 liter of water. I found this info on the Royal Queen seeds website, which I think is a trustworthy source. Of course you water your autoflower with less so you would need to amend the amount of epsom needed accordingly.
  2. Hi @BluntKnife, so this is the patient. To me this looks like a Magnesium deficiency. If that's the case (wait for other opinions too) you can fix it with Epsom salt. I am a bit careful with my diagnosis as I never had this problem.
  3. Yes and yes... Some Strains seem to hermie even when all growing parameters have met. That to me qualifies for crappy variety for example. Also some varieties just don’t have a nice terpene profile no matter what you as a grower do. But I guess taste differs from person to person. But I think in most cases it's mostly up to the grower. It takes time to be able to 'read' your plants and each strain likes different things. Meeting your plants needs and growing with passion is getting the best out of your plants.
  4. Good to hear you got a new addition to your grow @BluntKnife. Perhaps the plants just got a bit stressed because of the move especially seeing it's an Autoflower. One of the members here (my stoned brain can't remember who) changed the light cycle and the plants got a bit confused. Did you stick to your buddy's light cycle? But yeah I agree with @Stinger96 start a new one and it will probably get môre attention.
  5. Thanks man, in the longrun I'm going to make it look neater but for now it does the job. It actually smelled quite good. I am very curious about what it will do to the plants.
  6. Hi @BluntKnife, just realized your thread went a bit offtopic... How's your grow going?
  7. Ok, I brewed my first AACT just to dial things in before I start my outdoor grow. I kept the recipe simple: 125ml home made compost, 125ml home made worm castings and 30 ml molasses in 15 liter rain water. After 36 hours of brewing it seemed ready.
  8. Perfect thanks man, now I'll be able to find out what they need to grow.
  9. @GGG, let us know what you'll find out .
  10. Hi, I plant according to the moon. I germinate my seeds on fullmoon since a few years and had only one dud ever since. Not sure if I was just lucky or if the moon had an influence on that. I like the idea that the moon has an effect on the plants. Plus it's for free, so there's nothing to loose doing it. As far as I know there's little to none studies done on that topic to back up that it actually works. I come from a family of farmers and my forefathers all planted according to the moon and were convinced that it is beneficial.
  11. Hi, I'm propagating this plant which was given to me by a friend. I would like to know more about it. Does anyone know the name?

    2nd run

Stunning pics man! They surely enjoy the sun.
  13. @DamDave, priceless... I also got one of these at home. Caught her doing HST and defoliation one day.
  14. Welcome man, looking good! Wheather is going to improve soon.
  15. That's going to be a labor intensive harvest! Looks verrry good :).
  16. This is an interesting read regarding the topic 'praying plants'. https://www.growweedeasy.com/why-are-marijuana-leaves-pointing-up
  17. @afternoon blazer, whenever I see leaves looking like praying to the sun I know the ladies are doing perfectly fine. You see for example @Ill_Evan 's plants are also doing that. Plants show/tell you how they are doing by their looks. One just needs to learn to interpretate and act accordingly.
  18. I would take @DamDave 's offer. Very generous man :).
  19. Hi @zolrooker, I tend to agree with @Bakstein420. Maybe first do the math and compare the costs for your monthly weed consumption against what your grow will cost in a month. If you would spend twice as much on weed from a dealer compared to just grow your own I'd say it's worth thinking about growing your own. In case you should decide on growing your own I would suggest to work with autoflowers as loadshedding isn't going to mess with their light cycles too much. One question remains. What would happen if the unhappy party will find out about your project?
  20. Beautiful plant! They tend to get Purple hues when it's cold at night. So yeah that's pretty normal.
  21. Hi @Nibiru, you mean these 'my little garden' pots? They work fine, but yeah I would also poke a few holes in as it seemed to me that the roots had a tough time growing through the pot. I like that there isn't any transplantation stress for the little ones. But I prefer the yiffies.
  22. @GGG the Drakensberg area is great for hiking. The silence up there is unique in a way. I've been in giants castle rest camp. I'm curious about the effect of kanna. Tried it a decade ago but I got it from a questioable source. Now I just grow my own :).
  23. Thanks man, yeah I know about the medicinal properties. Always looked for it while hiking but never found any. I collect these kind of plants. Cool they'll get some nice cactus soil :).
  24. Looking good bro! She's always praying. On all pics I've seen so far. Surely she'll smoke nicely. Weather sucks here in the south too. I really hope it the last bit of winter before spring comes.
  25. Hi all, I just got myself some rooted sceletium tortuosum cuttings which I'll repot soon. Before I will do so I'd like to know if anyone here has grown these already. Are there any specific things I need to take care of? I guess normal cactus soil is fine?
