  1. Ja agreed. I have a Cloudious 9 vape which i bought for shits and giggles. Had it for almost 2 years and still going strong and used daily. Great value for money and easier on the lungs. But if i had to toke on the same amount in a joint i would get way more gooft. Not that i don't get gooft from the vape. The vape just provides a mellower, deeper gooft, if you know what i mean. Still dig my vape and having my own homegrown supply definitely helps loads. Always lekker to have a nice selection of smoking utensils, depending on what type of stoned that you're after on the given moment.
  2. Almost there. About 85% colonized. Taking kak long though. Going almost 2 months now! Luckily no signs of contamination. @Naughty.Psychonaut
  3. Be the pot my friend. Feel the pot. Most accurate way to determine moisture content in container. You'll be surprised how much moisture the bottom 3rd of a container retains even when the topsoil is bone dry.
  4. Yo brother. Can't really tell how the trichomes look but the leaves tell me that this plant is close to harvest. Rain predicted for the next 2 days so if i were you i would harvest if you can't keep her dry.
  5. Ja some images and details of the winning buds would be lekker
  6. Sterkte with the harvest bro. Are you wet trimming or just removing biggest fan leaves before hanging out to dry?
  7. Those fkrs were all over my DP plant at harvest time. Lost a couple of good main nugs. Even spotted some in my drying room after harvest. Trying to escape the drying buds. Puta madre!
  8. Good luck with the pheno hunt sista. My biggest concern with attempting a pheno hunt is trying to explain to the pigs why i have 200 plants in my backyard...
  9. No need for that. Don't fill the jar chock n block full. About 3/4 full. Keep the jar in a dark cupboard at room temp. Burp at least 6 times a day during the first week. After that not so much. Most important is to not expose curing bud to UV rays. Enjoy your harvest brother.
  10. Ideally cut the whole plant at the base. Hang upside down in clean, dark space with 50-60% RH and 20 deg celsius with a fan running at med speed for the first day or two then let the fan slow down for another 5-10 days. Not directly blowing on plant of course. Low and slow is what want to aim for. Low rh and temps with a slow dry. When the branches start snapping instead of just bending, snip off the buds, do a final trim and cure in jar at 60% RH for at least 2 weeks. Remember to regularly burp the jars and store in dark place. Dinner is served
  11. Spray those fuckers with Margeret Roberts Organic Incesticide
  12. Nice one bro! Should be interesting to see the reaction of some of the anti-dagga boere there hey
  13. Eish brother. Same issue here with my DP. At first i also suspected bud rot but the brown, dead parts were crumbly. Discovered bud worms big time. Butterfly larvae. Chopped the plant emergency style. This seems to be the modus operandi every year haha! Still pretty stoked with the harvest
  14. Over/under watering. Light def is eliminated because they are outdoors right? Soil should still be packed with nutrients so i will also rule that possibility out.
  15. Lekker soos n firecracker ekse! Jys by die regte plek met die regte mense. Hier leer ons sommer moerse baie van die heilige plant. Geniet
  16. Agreed. 10% watering volume per container size roundabout. And also. Feel the weight of your containers. The most accurate way of determining whether you need to water or not.
  17. Shot bro! Nice harvest there! Ja still need to get the terminology right haha. But thanks for clearing that up. Ja its taking a long time to colonize but hooefully it's worth the wait. B&B were going to replace me with PF classic spores but informed me that the culture was sacrificed and they will substitute. Alacabenzi was probably the only non-contaminated spores available at that time, who knows. Will post updated soon
  18. Howzit bro. Yea they sent me a replacement pf kit and Alacabenzi spores this time. Apparently it is more resistant to contamination and a bit more beginner friendly to innoculate and fruit. Its been innoculating for about a bloody month with about half the tub innoculated. Nice, pure white! Will post an update once fully innoculated and placed in shotgun fruiting chamber with perlite. Lekker!
  19. Looking good brother! Being an outdoorsman myself, i know little about the technicalities of indoor growing but from what i can see is that you are on the right track there
  20. Agree. Autos are suppose to be the fad. Unless you have experience with them and dialed them in, i wouldn't bother. Spend a bit of extra grow time and you will be rewarded with a much bigger yield. My biased opinion.
  21. Lekker. Ja a sober smart ass is normally not such a smart ass when dealt with the correct way.
