Alrighty then we are coming up on that time
I am going to post the update pics in order of how I took them this time just out of convenience as I have three different angles for each plant. I am also going to post the other plants I am growing just for comparisons sake.
There's a bunch of pics to follow so I will do my quick summary here rather than after.
One of the Tortoni's, T#6 has been developing some nanners so I am going to chop her tomorrow morning after setting up my drying net. The nanners are very isolated and look very new so I do not think they would have had time to do too much damage. Time will tell if any seeds developed in her or in any other of the ladies. When I give her the chop I am going to give the back plants a closer look as I will have a bit more space to do so.
T#10 has the thickest and most complete queen cola out of all the Tortonis and she has the most green and lack of purple out of all the Tortonis. T#5 may be short, but her buds are all nice and consistent in size, she's like a mini version of T#10 but with a little more purple hues. T#8 has the most developed bottom nuggets I have ever seen on any plant I have ever grown in my life, I just forgot to take a pic of them but I will next time. They look like nuggets you would find in the middle of the plant but they are the most bottom which I usually get undeveloped meh buds, but not this lady. T#9 has the deepest colour of purple out of all the Tortonis and is a bit like T#8 in shape and size but the bottom nugs don't seem as developed or as large.
Otherwise still a good few clear trichomes on the Wedding Cake and one or two of the Tortonis. Trickles of amber are appearing throughout all the plants so end of month is still looking like perfect harvest timing.
The Choc Gelato is the tiniest plant of the lot, super small but I am hoping she packs some tasty flavour.
The Zkittles x Purple Punch has some really stellar compact trichomes, it wows me every time.

@Dr. Green please keep us posted bud. You have the gift and you are working with some great genetics.
Excited for the smoke report and round up of the grow.
All of the best and may your pollen settle where it is needed

Looking stellar there sir.. If I may ask. Where did you get the clip on fans from and are they worth it..?
Thank you good sir. I have the RAM and Safe way non-oscillating fans. Both real good quality.
Safeway bought from Clicks and a bit cheaper. Ram bought through Hydroponic.co.za a little bit more expensive. But on 24/7 and haven't had any issues now on my second grow with them

Morning folks.
Currently sitting on day 50 of flower so more or less 3 weeks still left before the chop.
I sat and stared at the plants this morning in the dark and thought I'd share a couple of lights off photos. Tortoni #2 is really impressing me a lot in flower..
The photos are a bit blurry, not sitting with the best phone camera...

Bro this looks unreal. So what are your thoughts about Karma's work?
How's the smells and bud density? It looks like you have some epic bud to leaf ratio. And very well done on that 4 pot scrog. Your tent looks packed, and healthy AF
Shit I wanna rock that strain now

Thank you my good friend. Your detailed approach to growing cannabis in soil medium with BioBizz guided me a lot.
Thank you for all your effort and sharing your wisdom with forum members.

Hi folks,
I did not intend on updating the dairy again so quickly but I saw some awesome stretch on the main colas on the ladies (GSC - meh...)
Twisted Helix representing the breeder quality and the price you pay per seed with some really fat buds starting to take shape.
The one that's really blowing my mind on the cola stretch is the Tortoni #2. She was germinated last and had quite a lot of catch up to do. But in flower she is shining through. If I had the capacity to play around with breeding I would have liked to work with this Tortoni #2
And a shout out to @Prom for his dedicated commitment on the BioBizz line. I learnt a lot from his nutrient application process

@ORGANinc. from what I have seen with your growing style you shouldn't have too much to worry about

@Weskush Dutch Passion has a CBG variant available through Trophy seeds.
I haven't seen any other local seed supplier that stocks CBG strains.

@The_StonedTrooper sounds very nice man.
Any idea on the breeder of that cut? From what I have read the DJ Short version is as close to the original you can get.

Welcome good sir. I hope you enjoy your stay. There is a lot of knowledge floating around here and I am sure you will be able to gain a lot.
There are also a lot of folks who swear by Hydro so stick around and let's grow.
P.s I like those bricks helping with the training, smooth move

@Weskush that blueberry x bubblegum cross sounds delicious.
One day I would also like to get as close as possible to the original blueberry. Heard great things about it.
A bud of mine grew some chronic once. Was some of the best outdoor I have ever had.

Hey bro. I have high hopes for your lady! Pun intended.
I gave a couple of clones to a friend for his outdoor run previous season and he planted it in a bed that the cats used to poop in.
The cat squatted right on the little seedling and did a cracking supercrop job. He left the plant be and she recovered exceptionally well. Here are some pics...

@Twix Aphen thanx a lot brother man. I have to admit in terms of looks the bubblegum is also one of the sexiest plants I have ever grown/seen. The leaves look like they were photoshopped.
On the down side though her smell is not that of undeniable bubblegum. Still a rather confusing terp pushing through but hopefully she is a plant that will showcase the true terpene expression as we near the end of the flowering stage.
I am really really hoping for the bubblegum to shine through. Next round I will be running some white bubblegum by OSG bought from @Golden-Goose. From what I have read this should be a more accurate representation of the bubblegum that hit the shelves back in the 90's...
Who knows? Only time will tell

Morning folks.
So I am currently sitting on day 44 of flower and things are starting to take shape nicely.
We have had a couple of very cold days and nights in the Gauteng space so I am not to sure whether that is reason for the awesome leaf colouration or whether it is the normal flowering fade.. or a bit of both?
The GSC is still lagging with the trichome development but atleast she has got a damn nice smell so should hopefully smoke just as good.
From the looks of things the Bubblegum might be the first lady to get the hehe chop as her bud development seems to be taking the lead. Already starting to see some pistils retracting into the calyx.
I have to take the clones out to feed and take some nice pictures of the mothers and that allows me to take some flash shots which I really enjoy.
Excuse the excessive amount of pictures but my ladies love the limelight

Things are looking hectic, I'm not convinced it's all about Zuma, rather more opportunistic crowds of people who have been at home without work for far too long due to lockdowns and businesses flopping, as well as the truck drivers pushing against foreign workers. Although there are large swaths of people who genuinely believe Zuma was imprisoned without trial, which is total bs. His foundation is spreading the lie that is he was imprisoned without trial and they should be held accountable for the damage currently being caused.
With the army getting involved, I hope it doesn't come to a situation like in Eswatini. The SANDF in these situations are to act in tandem with the SAPS but with the SAPS being stretched so thin (and in some videos, even looting for themselves) the army will have to act independently, and we saw how well that went during the initial lockdown last year. Marikana 2.0 anyone?
Here's wishing safety to our members in the KZN and Joburg city areas. There is talk of a state of emergency being announced due to these riots and immediate curfew being implemented. Kinda getting an Arab Spring vibe actually
Very well said man. And your analysis of the current socio-political dynamic is spot on.
Hope all our members in those areas are safe.
