  1. After 4 days of toil, I have finally moved my setup into the new room. Everything is fresh and clean again, for as long as that will last. There's a bit more space between the tents so I can definitely clean more regularly. I had thought I might be cheeky and squeeze in another 2.4x1.2 tent but I'll probably only get another 1.2x1.2. I am thinking of doing an organic tent with fabric pots and FF soil. Stay tuned. Before I transferred the KmintZ, I gave them a spray of fungicide in case any PM decided to hitch a ride into the new spot. I decided to change the layout of the fans in the flower tent a bit. Instead of having the two fans both on the ceiling blowing down, I now have one in a corner on the ground, and one on the opposite corner but above the canopy line. I do believe there was plenty of stagnant air below the canopy and I feel it had contributed to the development of the powdery mildew in the last harvest. In order to allow the bottom fan the space and ability to blow without unnecessary resistance, I have removed one pot from the tent from one of the corners. I have taken the mature ZxP plants from the veg tent, potted them up and got them into the flower tent. They were looking really keen for the flip, and they had grown a little past where I usually would have wanted them, but the move had taken a little longer than expected. Due to having one less pot in the flower tent, I only potted up 5 ZxP and have reserved the remaining 6 pots for the upcoming Wedding Cake plants. The KmintZ clones in the veg tent are developing roots, also took roughly 3 weeks. Winning! This is also the first time I'm taking clones within the first week of flower instead of keeping mothers and I can see the difference between clones taken in veg. The KmintZ clones are pushing pistols quite heavily, so I predict a period of reveg. Not to worry, I think the timing might work out quite well as the KmintZ in the flower tent have still quite a bit to go. I will pot the clones after they have the vent open for a day or two to climatise.
  2. Finally got a chance to dig into this thread. Looking real nice Glad to see the buds still fattening up after week 13
  3. It's great for veg, plants were super strong and healthy. I wouldn't use silica in flower.
  4. Me too. I went through a year of harvests using it, now seeing what it's like without it.
  5. Really making sure no bugs even touch your plants

He is the new age Chael Sonnen of smack talk. It wasn't too long ago Colby was about to be cut from UFC and the Chaos alter ego was born. He also started winning more fights thereafter. 10 pushups, John. I don't think Colby wants to have to play the anti-hero, I think he'd prefer to just train and fight, and just leave the promoting to the promoters, but UFC is putting more and more pressure on fighters to promote themselves as brands in order to make it into the PPV fights. It's less about how good a fighter is and more about the story of the fighter. This will change with Smesh Brothers.
  7. Already got some military grade fungicide from Protek that I'll be using as a preventative or on sight of early signs of PM. The bud rot I'm hoping to sort out with lowering my humidity and temperature in late flower. The new grow room will hopefully help with this.

Eish Colby took it. I'm worried for Masvidal's career, it isn't looking too hot right now. Keen to see the Volkanovski and the Du Plessis fight.
  9. The ZxP has been now fully harvested. It felt like double the time harvesting compared to last. I am looking forward to weighing it all in the end Only the KmintZ remain in the flower tent. Tomorrow they will be joined by the Wedding Cake and ZxP clones.

    Covington or Masvidal?
  11. I have potted up the ZxP clones taken on 13 Feb. 3 week root I can work with, I think I have maybe figured out this cloning business.
  12. I'm experiencing this a lot recently. Some plants style, others eat shit.
  13. I have lost two beautiful tops to bud rot. It was completely unnoticeable until I had begun the harvest tonight. I had started at first to just take the tops off, but I soon realised the extent of the PM as I got deeper into the...well...weeds...and decided that leaving the bottoms any longer would compromise them. This is for the GZ specifically. At first it seemed as though I was going to lose the majority of the popcorn buds due to lack of development but as I started going through them, I ended up throwing maybe only two or three popcorn nugs away. Fokit. I got a relatively clean run on the last ZxP, and my first harvest this year I had lost like all the tops. You know what they call this? They call this progress. Statistically, I'm winning. So take that, bourgeoisie. Anyways, new game plan. I am going to chop the rest of the current ZxP on Sunday. I would do it tomorrow, but I will be participating in a 3+ hour jiu jitsu grading ceremony of death in the evening, so my body will be unable to do much the entirety of Saturday. Earlier today I had prepped a new room in which I will be moving my entire growing setup. Flower tent, veg tent and a drying tent, all in one environmentally controlled room. Jirre I will poes off hard if I get pm and bud rot again. Some would call this, 'foreshadowing', but as I have said before I am a betting man. I'll roll that dice until I hit two sixes. Or two ones. Idk dice rules. I'll therefore be moving the KmintZ while they are currently in flower. It is maybe a 20m journey for them so I don't think they will trip. Another reason for why the move needs to happen now is because I have the next batch of ZxP as well as the Wedding Cake clones in the veg tent just begging to get flowering, so the time is now...now is the time? It's late. Here's a chonky Gorilla Zkittlez top.
  14. I am very interested to see how your grow turns out, now and following. I have often pondered moving off into the Karoo, even Klein Karoo. My following thoughts were naturally whether the conditions would work well for cannabis. It would be super dope if you could post your temps and humidity every so often please My outdoor knowledge is limited but this thread is tickling my fancy
  15. Pretty damn good for a first attempt. Now to refine your methods!
  16. Alright, so the experience with the Gorilla Zkittlez and powdery mildew has been enlightening. It appears that for the most part, the PM gets as far as the sugar leaves and then kind of gets "trapped" by the sticky trichomes. To my delight, it seems that none of the actual buds have been compromised thus far. It is getting a bit much plucking every heavily affected leaf from the plants, I can see the plants starting to stress further. The game plan is to take the tops off tomorrow evening, same as the ZxP. Then I will try to push for another week as well as pluck as many affected leaves between now and then as possible. 17. I have taken the tops off of the ZxP plants at 7 weeks flowering. Trichomes are all milky and I can't really spot any clear bulbs. In the past, I've always gone 8+ weeks on the ZxP but I've opted for a staggered harvest on the ZxP for now. I will let the lower branches go for another week. The bottom branches are nicely spread across the net now, so there's that. Not losing the tops to bud rot for me is just an absolute win right now. As for the Gorilla Zkittlez, it's a world war going on there with the powdery mildew. The milk and paper towels solution aren't working anymore so I am just plucking leaves now, and the stress is starting to show on the plants. I am going to also take the tops off of the Gorilla Zkittlez in a day or two from now. The bottom buds are definitely not as developed as the ZxP, so I am going to have to see as I go as to what I will do. I'll do a detailed post on the Gorilla Zkittlez tonight. ZxP
