  1. Ahh man, who remembers these guys. Understandably not for everyone. Jimmy Urine and his liberty spikes.
  2. Oh man, quite a long watch but has me intrigued. To work, or to watch?
  3. This makes more sense and would work well, just ensure the light can get to everyplace in the tent! Won't help if you have a PM problem already though, but there are sprays which can be used for that.
  4. @donnob How is the tent? Any damage from being shipped?
  5. You missed the point, even something like this will not be effective as the spores need to be exposed to the UV for an extended period of time. Simply passing through UV will not work and kill the spores. I believe it takes a while - probably varies a bit depending on the strength of the UV light and how far the spores are from the light. Google seems to suggest 10 seconds at a distance of 6" from the light, but then at the same time suggest 1 to 2 hours but I suspect this is if a UVC device was left in a room to sterilize the entire room so at a further distance. I am no expert in this though, but even 10 seconds is far too long as the air is being moved at a much quicker speed and you'd need it to be killed instantly basically - as soon as it is exposed to the UVC in order for it to be effective. Keep in mind that as soon as you open the door to enter the room, you're letting in air which has not passed through the UVC sterilizer and spores could get in this way and you could even bring some in with you on your clothes as you enter.... So do you feel it is worth it? Spraying sulfur or copper soap works very well in veg to get rid of PM and prevent it. Coppersoap should not be used during flower at all, sulphur may affect the taste / terps negatively if sprayed in flower. Typically most experience issues in flower and often towards the end of flower as the plant is getting older and weaker. Preventative sprays can assist, such as aq sf but I know not everyone is a fan of spraying plants in flower.
  6. I still feel it is a bit risky as the mold / spores would need to be in contact with the UV for an extended period of time as far as I understand it. Also the device would need to draw the mold / spores into the UV light, so if for whatever reason the spore lands on your plant and does not get sucked up into the UV light, it is useless and won't make any difference. Not to mention the spores / mold would most likely not end up chilling in the section with the UV light for the necessary period of time to be killed as it would be blown out just as quickly as it got sucked in. Not sure how effective UV B is at killing mold / spores, but it is not uncommon for people to run UV B in flower for a bit and that could potentially help a bit. Not 100% sure though - it is not the reason people run UV B. If PM is an issue, there are better ways to treat it and prevent it. Unfortunately this UV sterilization will negatively affect your plants in order to get rid of the mold / spores.
  7. I tried to reach out to them just over a week ago and no response, followed up today - hopefully I get a response. Although I know of people who have ordered from them before.
  8. San Pedro I believe. Peyote is a small cactus, looks like this: The active ingredient is referred to as Mescaline though. If it piques your interest, do some more research. Go down that rabbit hole!
  9. So not going to lie, the plants I took down really did not come out very nice. The bud was lacking frost, yield was really low and popcorn for days and the most bizarre part is the pistils went a dark colour and did not compliment the bud and made it looks even worse. Sigh Here are some pics, not the best pics but not the best bud either. I feel the root aphids may be partly to blame here. Slurrijug Black Cherry Pie Bananium Slurricane Will likely be taking down more plants this weekend though, hoping these plants turn out better - they look good at least. Will check trichomes towards the end of the week. Might give some another week if needed.
  10. Once again I think you got it mixed up with mycorrhizal. Not all fungus forms a symbiotic relationship with every plant. Some only with certain plants etc.
  11. How about a bit of a bump as more time has passed since vaccines have been open from ages 18+
  12. The one with the yellowing leaves is not a problem, it is not uncommon for some of the older leaves to yellow and sometimes even die and dry up a bit while waiting for cuttings to root. Once potted up, it can take a few days for the cutting to settle and start establishing its root again and getting nutes - at which point you will notice new growth which should be green and the older leaves will continue to yellow and die. You can cut the old, yellowing leaves off once new growth has started. The plant does not look stunted, looks as if a lot of new growth is going to be coming soon!
  13. So a bit of an update, took these photos on Saturday but didn't get a chance to post them until now - been busy trimming some plants which came down. Twisted Helix: Bananium: Frosted Apricots: Sugarcane: Really excited to take these plants down! Some new ones which I have yet to try myself as well.
  14. @Smelly Joe Not sure about the mycelium, if it is consuming the pine then it must be some wood loving mycelium. Doubt it would do harm, but I am not mycelium expert.
  15. I think what it comes down to is, people / the community want to be able to do it on the cheap and not have it limited to those who have millions to risk and lose. Something more achievable for the average grower out there who does not have deep pockets.
  16. Nice that you give them a chair, far more comfortable compared to the hard, cold, ground. Last season looked good, obviously may need to water more often with them being outside, but I am sure you are aware of this. Cannot wait to see these monsters!
  17. This is what I have noticed based on my experiences. 4 days, just seems way too short.
  18. 4 days is super fast... Dare I say a bit suspicious in a way, as if the plant had decided to start making sacs before you even sprayed. Lets see how it turns out. Perhaps you got lucky and the plant you sprayed responds very quickly.
