Week 5 flower under the @Liontree Supernova 320 (100%) We on 19 days since the true flowers started appearing so could be looking at a 10 week flowering period or more. Powdered sugar started coming out to play as well. Smooth sailing for now.7 points

Would make 1 meter rows, 4 rows, about 70cm walk space in between, 12 meter long rows. 48 meter x 1 meter grow area. 3 QBs per meter. 144 QBs with 120 watt per QB. 17280 watt. 415 units a day, 12450 units a month... just the light. 30 to 40% for ventilation. Might be same amount for AC as light 32k units for Eskom a month total, perhaps build a small koeberg for a MOAT is best 768 autos... conservative guessing.. 38 kg dry each 9 to 12 weeks depending on strain. Full time job for 5 people to grow... little army to trim and dress I might need one of these tents if the coffee shop becomes reality shut up, let me dream!4 points

I agree, will see whats available. Got a refund due from Futurama , so could ask them to send me one of these you listed and then later play with one of these usb one`s for the fun of it.2 points

I looked at those now, doesn't make it clear if digital or optics, so I wouldn't. At that cost, as apposed to the cheapest actually scope, and then a 2x optical zoom hand held, I wouldn't expect much sorry. Added, the curiosity in me or the child, wants to test it too still2 points

If i use the new electricity cost i got july for prepaid home consumers.. 81225.60 Rand a month electricity cost @PsyCLown 3 QBs per sqm, 48 sqms grow area2 points

Haha I love it , new name of the next grow , “Scooby’s snack pack “ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Haha, 144 QB's - imagine that. How deep / wide are the 1m rows? How many QB's per sqm does that work out to though? 38KG dry, trim by hand? Fucking hell, that is when you buy a centurion trimmer and the people buying the weed from your coffee shop must STFU and just smoke it.2 points

I wana know how many of these have sold!? I don't think a one man band can make enough music to fill that space, if you know what I mean... Would have to quit your day job and employ a staff team!2 points

Alright alright alright guys! Give this bruski a break long enough for him to show us his grow haha!! Welcome bro! Make yourself at home and I hope we can glean some wisdom from you as you will from us2 points

Autos are not stable, especially the dutch ones. I had the exact same experience. The US genetics I agree just seem to be of a higher quality and they're certainly leading the way with auto's and even photoperiods. Guys are buying the dutch stuff as its cheap and advertised everywhere with the strain names people are use to hearing and want.... or think they want.2 points

Soil has way to much bark in. The perlite privides air, but the roots still need fine soil to get nutes. If you want to save your grow, get a FF green bag, repot very gentle. The bark will hurt a lot the root work anyhow during repotting. That small plants after that much time... very small roots on those plants. 600 watt more then enough. If you would have over watered for 5 weeks, they would be dead by now. The more i look at your soil, the less i like it. I think there is your problem.2 points

i had with really no exception extrem even canapes with US beans. Gorillas were a good example. With every Dutch batch i run, plant hights are completely different.. with one big light, just a mess. Nirvana Blue Cheese Auto, same batch of beans, same moment glassed, same soil, same nutes, same light. Annoying...1 point

Precisely, makes sense and agree... Real side note, if you need a new phone, a Samsung Note 8 is now about 6k brand new, or cheaper second hand, and has 2x optical zoom and you'll have shots like mine and a semi nice phone1 point

@afternoon blazer Its advertised for R339 on Bid or Buy . Relatively cheap , so might buy one just to play and see how good the quality is. https://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/477037791/1000X_8_Led_USB_Digital_Microscope_Endoscope_Zoom_Camera_Magnifier_Stand.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwm_P5BRAhEiwAwRzSO5WJLdfqxygdt9qobilpzKeueqt7YkMQih7YH9AAs9iQDqhKGN0gJBoCAJUQAvD_BwE1 point

@StickyD420 Please have a look at my last update. How long do you think will she keep flowering till harvest, just want a rough idea. She did not realy grow much.1 point

I see they say zoom, then 1000x Digital, so just check that it can optical zoom, not only digital, or then it definitely isn't working for your needs.1 point

I dont know, I kind of think it might be worth a shot and be about the same, or if not better than the lens add on that noob uses. Plus I'd like to see it in action, unless you'll be out of pocket that you cant afford. Then dont.1 point

It looks good though. Just do not expect a sativa high.. That one looks like a strong Indica hybrid. I would of kept also. Might be a nice surprise.1 point

I noticed that aswell Couldn’t bring myself to kull (hopefully a her ) the growth was insanely fast before I did the mainlining so clearly not happy with being stressed ,but going to keep the plant small and possible top it again to have 4 small main colas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

That swaz looks to be a cross.. Thick leaves for a sativa.. That will be a surprise for sure.. Bag seed most of the time dissapoint unfortunately...1 point

Ph down is either nitric acid or phosphoric acid.... They are really strong acids and only a drop will change ph. Not enough phosphates to support flowering at the pH you need. I wouldn't want to be adding sodium to my medium.1 point

If u started with 50 percent nutez. Keep it that way for the entire week. And only change to 75 percent the next week. They still really young. So dont need too much right now. I only started nutez at the end of week 4. At 75 percent. And now week 5 i have moved to 100 percent.1 point

Loads of tips from the bois!! My 2c would be... Well quite a few cents actually. 1)light - the light you have is really great for veg and flower, but its value will be in the flowering stage mostly. - I would follow @afternoon blazer advice about the Acdc lights... Really good bang for your buck for veg growth. And then use the 600w HPS for flower only. Recipe for success with lighting. I wouldn't fully convert to LED just yet if you are happy paying the electric bill you get. But it's definitely where the market is moving LED quantam boards and high output diodes. 2)the meduim. Christ it looks scary... The barky bits are no good. I would honestly try cut the plants out of that meduim, even if you damage some of the roots, and put it in the meduim with perlite. I recommend getting yourself some coco and mixing it with the perlite. This is the right meduim for cannabis. Even the soil soils are mixed with a lot of coco to make it a lighter arier meduim. Or get one of the recommended brands and use as is. Telling you... Guaranteed success son. 3)the nutes. Seagrow is a great all round nute source! And is a valuble addition to your toolbelt. There are tons of better nutes available... But this is not the worst you can do either... So all good man. If you can afford other nutes, I will suggest the biobizz range. How are you feeding the plants? This is where I want to highlight the most. Not a single one of your plant pics has a moderately dried out meduim... Every Pic you posted has drenched pots. The amount of water in the pots with the seedling should be fine for like the next 2 weeks without watering. And your bigger ones should be fine for like a week as well. And you should not be using any of the seagrow nutes at all yet... Plants are just too small. It would seem as you have been caught in the new hobby snare... Loving your new passion to death. This is a long game... Zero aspects of growing require constant adjustment. My 4c is you have not been letting your meduim dry out sufficiently. Light is good, nutes are good, airflow is good.... Watering habits are bad... Naughty naughty lol. As you are new, use this tip to help with watering. Actually, here's 2 tips for watering. A) pot weight test. Weigh your meduim before you water it... So you know what a 'light' meduim feels like... And then water, and only water again when the pot is light, or you have weighed it again and it is getting close to the base number. This approach works well with few plants. B) the knuckle test. Get your fingers stuck in there man... I don't water a damn thing until I can feel that the meduim is only alil moist about 2 knuckles down. That's about 5cm...2 whole inches. Then water till you get a bit of runoff, and then you are good again for a while. Cannabis NEEDs to have a wet to dry cycle. Not a wet to moist cycle. Peace and love bud! I know you gonna get this right1 point

Gsc Blue Dream Ghost train haze No specific order, and haven't really had lots of time to try or grow most of the strains available and going to be going into it properly now. Going to definitely try my local boys, @1000Hills Nursery and @Totemic without a second thought at all. Just time and money at the moment1 point

Built a little box for the seedlings to germinate under a 85w cfl , and hopefully keep the temperatures up until they are big enough to go back into the tent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Here's the feeding chart I used when I was starting off. Served me well up until I started mixing nutes with a tds stick meter. pH between 5.7-6.21 point

So to understand what you are doing with topping, you need to remember that even though the plant is alive, you aren't chopping off its head with this maneuver lol. There is no hard and fast rule as to where you must top... This comes with experience... One day you will just walk by and realize a lady needs a snip and just do it! You can top the plant right down to the first node if you really wanted to... Don't... But I'm just saying it would be fine... The trick comes more about which lower nodes have decent enough shoots, you want to make your snip as low as you can! Without cutting off the lower stems you want to promote. So even if the nodes alternate like you are experiencing, you are just looking for lower growth that looks good enough to become a main Cola... And that method you have about topping at the 5th node is wrong... Or atleast the way you interpret it is wrong. On a seed grown plant, you would want to wait for the plant to have atleast 5 nodes, before topping the plant.... Likely at the 3rd node or lower even, depending how the lower growth has grown. Lemi know if this has helped you alil and feel free to ask questions to gain a better understanding. And don't worry about killing them... As long as you leave a leaf or 3 on the cutting.... The plant will survive1 point

I would happily offer to be the tester/judge for the KZN competitors... send me your indoor guys1 point

Hi Start of week 3 of flower (from first signs of flower) 3rd time I have to defoliate and hope fully the last. Top dressed with rock dust and FPJ, to really push my P & K. With are highly available for the plants. Add water Soluble calcium and water soluble potassium. Having a bit of powdery mildew but mixed up some of the latic acid bacteria with OHN which is Oriental herbal nutrient, used to provide plants and soil microorganisms with micronutrients, which may optimize their resilience to environment stresses . OHN is a mixture of edible aromatic herbs extracted with alchohol, fermented with brown sugar. Used to discourage the growth of anaerobic, potentially pathogenic microbes. Herbs long recognized by many ancient cultures as having prebiotics properties include fresh ginger, garlic, angelica root etc. Then, keep it shelf stable with a bit of brown rice vinegar 1:1000 . Took some really strong and healthy clones of the prized cookies pheno and GG#4 x gsc , about a week and half ago.1 point

Also collected indigenous microorganism, (imo) Which is basically, you take everything (bacteria, fungi, nematodes) which you collect from miselium rich spot. Under a tree, under growth. Away from sun, you use par cooked rice as a food source for the miselium to collect on and inhabit. Once that is done, you mix in equal parts brown sugar and ferment for 10 days ( I did). That's your imo2. You have basically collected the environment around you. You have it in a bottle. Then you want to move to imo3, which is basically when you introduce a carbohydrate source , to feed your "environment " . I got bran from a horse feed place. Which you "cook" for 7 days, will reach temperatures of 40 to 50 degrees. Has to be turned everyday. So the recipe is basically, fpj, and 1 :500 of imo2 to water that been out in the sun. You want to mix your imo2 into the water, you really just need a tiny bit to inoculate a 30kg. Dont make 30kg, can make 1 kg, tiny bit goes a long way. That's what I need for what I am doing. After 7 days, that's your imo3, now you want to move one to imo4, that's where you introduce your soil, better from your garden because that soil is best for the environment you growing in. That's you marrying you micro climate, your food web. Your #imo1, is what's in your environment, it wouldn't work if you moved somewhere else or shared it with a friend, that lives miles away. It works best for where you are. If you move to a different environment, you would have to collect imo again . I like to stop at imo3 because, I keep imo3 in the cupboard and you can add it to your teas, for boosting your soil medium. If you dont till, this would work perfectly, because that's how you would refresh.1 point
