  1. So what have you decided to do? Also why are you using 4000K during flower as opposed to something with a bit more red, such as 3500k or 3000k - just for interest sake.
  2. @Totemic while we are on the topic of the seeds, how come there have been a lot of mutant plants and twins? At least I personally feel it is a lot considering the amount of people who have had twins or mutations. Not all that many of us growing it and both have happened more than once. Also what would be the best way to determine whether you have a haze or kush dominant pheno? I personally would prefer to end up with a haze, ideally one of each though. @420SA I do not think the rules are particularly hard to follow, although at the time it seemed as if quite a few of the participants were relatively new members, myself included. From my forum experience, not all new members will stick around for very long and pay close attention to the rules - perhaps consider setting a post count limit for the participants or at least a time limit (so they have had to be member for x amount of days / weeks / months). More stringent rules won't be a bad thing, but we have to keep in mind this is mostly a forum for stoners and therefore certain mistakes might be more likely to happen. I will be honest and one thing which first came to mind is that you basically get free seeds for participating in the competition and it wouldn't surprise me if people signed up just to get the free seeds and then disappear after that - from what I have seen, does not appear to have happened yet at least and hopefully won't. Also something I am not entirely how to ensure it does not happen, but what stops people from cheating in the sense that they actually grow a different strain and state it is the Chocolope seeds from Totemic? All of that aside, I think it is an awesome competition and am glad I have been able to participate in it! If this is a yearly comp, it will be really awesome and tons of fun!
  3. Fingers crossed its a female! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  4. I plan on using console jars and adding the hygrometer myself to the lids with some food grade silicone. Will add a Boveda as well to the jars. The cvaults and such are just too expensive if you're harvesting a lot of bud. I'm thinking the Console canning jars. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  5. Are those rapid rooters which you're using? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  6. Excuse the n00b question, but what is windburn exactly? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  7. Some progress on all the seedlings, although still nothing from the 1 Chocolope... Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  8. And 2 of the 3 Chocolope seeds have sprouted. Waiting on the middle one still. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  9. I have not attempted my own AACT yet, although when researching I read that the Vortex style mixers (or whatever they are called) are very nice but not needed. So you probably can't go wrong with it, curious to hear the views of those who have tried it and have first hand experience though.
  10. When I say vape, I mean vape the bud. So not turn it into to a liquid. I personally use a Vapor Genie and have a cheap Chinese herb vape. I'd love to get a PAX 3 though but they're not cheap. A vape heats the bud up enough to release the good stuff, the taste is more pure and the bud does not combust (burn). Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  11. Nice, around 2 weeks in and have the 2nd set of fan leaves out. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  12. So the seeds were soaked in water for approx 22 hours and then put into some rapid rooters in a humidity dome and into my grow area while I wait for them to germinate and turn into seedlings. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  13. I am sure it will help keep track of how long the girls have been in veg and flower and when I started etc. as after a few weeks I am sure it become easy to lose track of things. 😄
  14. Yea, that will be part of the learning. I am sure I will learn more this way too! Haha, I have already started labeling everything and soaking them in water in separate containers etc. I will certainly be keeping track of which is which. I should probably start a grow diary for the other strains too, update both this diary and my diary at the same time then. Will probably be easier.
  15. I've got some other seeds I'd like to grow out at the same time. Have a bit of variety for my first grow and various types of strains to compare against each other. Particularly keen to grow out a higher CBD strain for oils. Have a CBD Critical Mass from Seedsman. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
