  1. I'm just picturing a lot of stoned naked dudes in a cottage pointing at each other.

I've been having this problem too @420SA What I have found is that since the last theme update, the site forces the orientation of an uploaded image according to the original metadata of the image. So if say you have screen rotation "off" on your cellphone, and take a horizontal photo while the phone thinks it's taking a vertical photo, even after rotating the image in Gallery it will refuse to be uploaded vertically, so the image is sideways like yours. How I've gotten around it is to change the metadata of the image through an image design program such as Gimp. That seems to sort it, but it's a long winded effort.
  3. IMO the ultimate goal for soil is to have a large and deep enough single bed that you can reamend and occasionally top-up with more soil whenever plants/roots are removed, no nutrients at all. Getting this right can be a challenge if doing it DIY, and although ultimately saves you the most in the end, it can also end terribly. So I hope the Orgasoilux can do the job because that would be super great. In the past with packed soil that can take you from seed to harvest, they've either been too hot for seedlings or needed like a little molasses just at the end just to finish the plants off. Hence I think why now most would try the option of simply purchasing a soil that holds enough moisture, drains well and allows the roots to breath easily, and then using a good nutrient range to facilitate the rest, especially first timers.
  4. This is due to the spectrum of HPS being perfect for flowering. The drawback will be that in a tent such as yours, you would get terrible light spread with a SE 600W HPS compared to the spread you get with 600W total worth of LEDs. Extra: Those guys who claim better anything using HPS are also most likely making use of DE 1000W HPS, and are also Gavita fan boys
  5. My bad was just relating to the other local nutrient being EHG that @The_StonedTrooper was mentioning I updated the post.
  6. Nutriplex was my first nutrient brand when I did DWC, no complaints. My only concern was consistency. At the time there were whispers of some people getting 'off' or 'bad' bottles of Nutriplex and they were getting hellah deficiencies/burns without explanation only to figure out far down the line that the nutes were fecked. Can't say what it's like now, so take this for a grain of salt.

Jirre, pumping. Although I can confidently say @Prom probably has the most dialed in setup out of anyone.
  8. This interests me, but I am not sure how they went about this. Did they just buy a shitton of your seeds and resell as their own or did they just make a botched cross and called it Chocolate Gelato? Or is it not even the right crosses and they just selling some random strain as Chocolate Gelato? Educate me bro.
  9. But this doesn't measure par? I am confused. Edit: Oh I missed this part: How would you go about doing the same calibration? Can one just map the setting to the device?
  10. I was also initially spooked. GHE were bought up by a larger company and they wanted to rebrand because why not.
  11. This is always a power poll. Freedom Farms Premium Classic (green bag) has served me very well in my outdoor grows. I have had many jalapeño poppers this year! The outdoor cannabis that I use for my tinctures also have FF to thank.
  12. Thinking like literally a single bud on each mainline, like a mini bonsai. Looking for aesthetics over yield I didn't actually consider veg time at all so thanks for the heads up @CreX
  13. I have chucked the two EazyPlugs with the seeds that didn't pop and I have potted The One seedling in a 7.5L pot. I have potted The One with Gold Label 70/30 coco/perlite and the first feeding is the "first true leaves" dosage for GHE nutrients, halved, of 0.5ml per litre of Grow, Micro (soft) and Bloom respectively. I have also added some extra silicon at a strength of 6% SiO2 at a dose of 0.5ml per litre. The One looks so much darker under LED. I'm happy with it's health so far. Now it will establish itself before being finally potted in the 17l fabric pot. I am considering some ideas for how I will be training The One. Thinking of doing a eight-way manifold since I haven't done one since I was still growing in DWC.
  14. I have a female friend that's like this. Even if she smells cannabis on my clothes from me trimming she would get nauseous. She doesn't hang around as much, probably because I'm a doos though. I definitely get this. I will sometimes get it even during full flower and my arm brushes past some buds and I get a little rosin on me. Thinking about it, it's been getting less and less. I wonder if the skin eventually develops a tolerance of it's own against rashing up. I have been very fortunate to not get the sniffles when harvesting. Sniffle times are usually at the change of seasons though.
  15. Planning on potting tomorrow morning. The other seeds still haven't popped so I was already reducing humidity in the propagator to climatise the one seedling.
  16. Great topic. Personally mine is the Aurora Indica by Nirvana Seeds. I do however have the fortune of being able to grow multiple strains in bulk so even though it is my personal favourite I have the ability to share plenty of it. It is however not the greatest strain I have. I smoke daily so having a strain that is tasty, good to smoke but not so debilitating that my days are rendered nil is fantastic to have, and that for me is the Aurora Indica. A close second is Strawberry x Juggernaut, a strain @PsyCLown gave to me in seed form. Very clear high, little body high and quite punchy. Definitely a day smoke. This comes second only because I've preferred more body highs or "indica" highs in general, but it's nice to alternate between these two.

Plenty of time for me apparently!
  18. Naaaaah I play on hard mode.
  19. Got two no-shows still. It is going to get to a point where, considering I only need one plant, I am just gonna go with this girl going forward with the comp. Easy choice I guess! For as long as this seedling remains in the propagator I will give the other seeds a chance. When it comes time to repot this seedling and the other seeds haven't popped, we know what time it is. I've had late poppers in the past end up being better than seedlings I thought were going to be the one. Let us see.

This. Instead of getting excited at a huge cola I rather get stressed because it's always the monster heads I end up chucking because of bud rot.
  21. Got myself a keen bean, still waiting on the other two to break the surface, but this one is already looking power. Light cycle at the moment in the veg tent is 18-6, starting from 6pm to 12pm the next day. Temp is steady at 24C. I have only needed to moisten the cubes once and this was done with room temperature 5.8 pH water.
  22. Got the first peeker. Looking forward to the other two catching up.
