    Nice, I just use a frozen bottel of water - 2l in my 100x100, I maintain 25-27 temp with only a 150w HPS.

    Why dont you start with a coco hydro drain to waste system?I found this to be the simplest ,most forgiving hydro and the growth was comparable to standard hydro. I have a 50 l tote with a water pump and a hose with 4 drippers attached to it.Drippers come on for 5 mins x 3 times a day.5 mins is when water just starts running out my pots.

    True, but he doesn really have any ventilation in there,hence why I said cfls.Im assuming this is his first grow,lets see what he says.

    Awesome man, YOu werent on 420 magazines aswell?

    As a first timer, I would advise you to go with cfls,just to get the hang of things and not spend so much cash initially. Once you get some experience you can find a better space and then scale up with better lights ,ventilation etc. It is possible to grow a plant or 2 in that space.

    Are you planning to grow in the cup for its entire life? They should only be there for about 2 weeks and you shouldnt really feed them until about 3 weeks.. Cups are cheap and you can destroy them at transplant time so that you dont disturb the rootball.Just make a slit down the cup and slowly remove the entire rootball.

    I see Totemic replied already. Which shop gave you this advice because its not good advice. EDIT : Ok wait, it seems just a case of a misunderstanding.They didnt mean to tell you to put it in the nute res, but a seperate bottle of water.
