  1. You need to do what Prom said and plan your drying according to ambient temperatures and your actual bud. I just dried my f skittles last week, for a full 7 days. Here was my process: My buds were extremely dry when I harvested(as it should be, because you left the plant in darkness for 3 days without any watering right lol ;) Now, with the temperatures climbing into the 23's and RH decreasing , I had a problem, these buds were going to dry out too fast because I dont use anything special to dry, just hang em up in a dark room. What I did was, a budwash(water->bicarb->h202->water), and then a small soak for 5 mins in clean water. I then sundried on brown paper for around 10 mins a side until there were no water dripping. The buds gain some weight in water - then I hung them up. This slowed down my drying process and I only had snappy branches on day 6.The bud as been curing for a week now, and its smells like petrol cookie dough my gawd! I came up with the above because i fucked up my entire Fuel OG harvest last year, buy hanging up buds that were already dry and hadnt been washed, the buds dried in 3 days flat and the smoke was harsh cos of chlorophyl. An epic waste of money, time
  2. This is perfect for a manual but easy watering system.I will build one soon. Are you still using yours or did you move to automation now? I think I'll have to turned that ring around so that the black bits are in the soil.My coco doesnt like water at all, so I can see the water running straight out the pot!lol
  3. Do you need to cook the rice or use uncooked rice in the water?I use cooked rice water to treat PM and it works wonderfully.
  4. Cool man, I also didnt have the best harvest when it came to indoors so i switched and havnt looked back, but I do continue to use organics outside because its economical if you have a few plants
  5. Growing organically adds another layer to growing and if you are not skilled you can run into more problems with organics than synthetics.I pretty much ignore seedlings until they show stress in week 2/3 .They show a variety of deficiencies, but just one application of cheap A+B sorts them out, takes the guess work out and you can concentrate on other factors such as light, air flow, humidity because all of those play a factor in a plants growth. I suggest you do a chemical run with a 1 plant DWC system and see how it blows an organic soil run away hands down. There isnt guess work involved with chemicals, just stick to the chart - you dont really need a tds meter, but it is a nice investment to have especially when you want to go over the recommending feeding levels for greedy plants lol.

Looks like you have a mini tremor/hydralisk problem lol
  7. Brother, my bill for this month is almost R1300 over the normal one, Im not sure what's going on in WC, but I queried it. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  8. Yo, I'm growing with this in my tent right now, the nugs are some of the most dense I have ever grown. I'm concerned about longevity because of the extreme heat though and don't know whether I can run this in summer, but for that price and my needs it works out well.12000 lumens is no joke, I can't even look at this light for more than a second before it burns it's image into my retina for the next 5 mins lol Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
  9. Awesome thnx. So my ethos wcake is extremely sweet but she hits nicely. She is too sweet for me, I wish I had a cut that had some gassy/cheesy undertones.Infact all of these ethos genetics are extremely sweet.THe only one i was impressed by was Crescendo - she was sweet, peppery and gunpowder like - it was amazing but maybe i got a lucky cut as all of these were from clones(cannaclone).
  10. Howsit, yes, there is Ethos Wedding cake,Forbizzen skittles and I also have Sweet Insanity flowering outside, will take some clones this week after I fit my old bar with lights as a 2nd clone/mom/veg space. Currently flowering Fskittles in my tent so have to create a ghetto grow area to get them beans popped
  11. Ya lol its outdoor so not the strongest stuff. But it is my homegrown
  12. @Dank What genetics is your Wedding cake? Ethos?
  13. 20 a day? I can hardly get through 6 of my stuff in a day lol but i do roll 2g ones.
  14. Hey Bud So its a water pump that shoots water up through misting nozzle, wetting the stems.I got a few from Hydroponic.coza for R10 each. I go from water to coco with no issue, but thats because im using the same chemical nutes in both setups , so reduces shock. If you are going from water to soil, then yes I think its a small shock for the plant. *Becareful of anything that pumps air into water - that raises the ph of the water. This is where I went wrong with my setup because I set and forget and never monitored ph.
  15. Finally managed to come right with this ez cloner, no misting, no domes. And yes that is a bag of rocks to hold my pump down lol So this is an experiment, a last ditch effort to save my already flowered out plants.Hence why you see buds on those babies.
  16. Hey, You real name appears on those pdfs. Next time please use reputable seedsbanks with original breeder packaging to avoid these issues. Also - growing conditions play a big role in final THC CBD values. I use leafly and growdiaries.com to checkout a strains performance before i buy.
  17. Your soil might be too wet, whats is your watering like? Are you allowing it to dry between?
  18. Ok so sadly, these are not so much stable as they were Ethos clones from cannaclone. To be 100% honest, I was only impressed with Ethos Crescendo but I didnt manage to save a cutting from her Currently flowering Forbidden skittles (inside)and Sweetz insanity (outside) - will take some cuttings to save if they should impress. I want to pheno hunt the correct way, much like what @1000Hills Nursery is doing on his thread, but baby steps.Seems my ez cloner is working now that i added a water heater!

  20. Im loving this process of controlled growing like this in the hopes to find a real beauty and be able to use her in future grows!
  21. Great Idea! I have Ethos Forbidden skittles and Ethos Wedding Cake clones going atm.The wedding cake is a bit sweet for me,but she kicks nicely.I prefer something with a little bit of sour/spice or diesel to cut that sweetness. The f-skittles is around 4 weeks away from harvest, but the clones already have roots. She also smells very sweet Clone transporters (6 pack around R50-60) - https://www.google.com/search?q=clone+transporters
  22. Nice.I have an album up of my auto grow. The buds looked lovely but the potency just wasnt there.Eager to see how theses genetics compare
  23. Here are two 7 footers i grew last season outdoor organic, just some good bagseeds :)Thnx for those incredible pics!
  24. Hey, nice setup! May I suggest a 150w led floodlight light that pumps out about 12000 lumens for R375 from acdc.Im using it right now with decent results ,but the unit does get really hot so you will need a decent extraction unit.I only run my lights at night so the temps care care of itself but with decent circulation https://www.acdc.co.za/products/220-240-150w-cool-white-led-alum-flood-light-ip65?variant=32751529689165.
  25. Nice clone setup, mind sharing your misting and temp setup? I'd have on and off success with cloning, recently build a small bucket cloner in the hopes that I wouldnt have to mist to get cloning as I think thats where im going wrong.
