I smoke mainly joints - king size skunk with a small line of premium inside. I hit pemium indoor in my bong or glass pipe clean. I then recently started dabbing with a titanium nail and my bong,but I dont like the nail, prefer a glass banger. Dont really have the time and setting to do edibles,honestly I dont like edibles that much.

Regarding the consultant thing, do you want to only grow now for fun or will you be growing year round forever? Im pretty sure you dont need a consultant if you have the time available to do this, plus it such a nice learning experience that will never leave you. Pretty sure we all felt intimidated and a little uneasy about starting our first indoor grow, but once you get the basics, its actually really difficult to screw up. Rather push that money into the setup.

The way I see it, there are 2 options. 1.Door holes Assuming you are ok with this not being a stealth grow. Place the intake and vent in your door, one must be low(intake) the other must be high and then you would want to use ducting on the intake hole and take it all the way back to where the plants will be so about a few meters of ducting.Then you attached an extractor fan near the door with some ducting coming out the top of the door hole(Exhaust). This has its drawback such as whenever you open the door, the ducting will drag across the floor a little bit so might knock something down in the grow space. 2.Holes in the wall, yep no explanation necessary.Possible not doable because you are renting.

It shouldnt bee too difficult,Take an existing one apart and pry the chip off, rewire and should just work assuming its 220v.I see ACDC was selling the 10w and 20w for R50/R100, so shouldnt be too much of a lesson if you break one. I like your idea very much,pls let us know if you come right.
