  1. They seem to be patrolling the leaves looking for something. They don't appear to be sucking on the plant stem or eating the leaves. Are they ladybugs? This plant was outside and brought inside to convert to Hydro. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  2. Hey Guys, bit delayed but part 1 is up.I want to harvest Monday so part 2 will come shortly thereafter.
  3. Pity, I would take it if I was in Jhb. I have been using it since Aug with decent results. I put the hps off in so the pic doesn't make lines but this is 300w (150 led floodlight and 150hps)total in 1.2x1.2m using hortimix and their mpk bloom booster which is prob just Epsom. 4. Hey, nah this is Proms post, I just use bubble bags for mine. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks, what configuration would you build for a 1.2x1.2m @ 480w? This is the part I've been stuck on as it would be too tight a fit if you just doubled each strip to 120cm. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks, what sized area are you using the light in? Is this sufficient for a 1.2 x 1.2m ? Or will I need 2 perhaps?
  7. Looks very neat. What is the dimensions of the 12 strip rig?
  8. Good Day I would like to hear from the guys that are currently using this line. Are you using it in soiless/ water culture and how has the experience been? They come in 25kg bags, the range comprises of s1,s2,s3 and then calprime (so 4x 25kg bags).thnx
  9. Thanks, you got any more info on Haifa?Ie where do I find it,I only see a generic website with no stockist or online ordering.
  10. Thanks man. So I also had to double or triple my dose because the mixture is actually weak and you do end up going through a lot of the stuff just to make like 10l solution! Do you mind sharing your current nute setup? I'm assuming it's also A and B in bulk? Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks, Yeah i think my dosage is too high, Im going to flush and lower and see if that helps. One of my plants is actually your Bubba Kush, which is flowering incredible fast, she is around 2 weeks ahead of the others and they all started the same time!Im really impressed with her and cant wait to sample her!
  12. Thanks man, yeah i will follow yours and see what happens Edit - well that is exactly what I have been doing just Part B and MPK, pushing 1600 ppm now in week 3.5.What would your typical week 3 flowering values on Part B and MPK be in a liter of water, as I think I have to put less of Part B and more of MPK.
  13. I just bought the gel from one of the online stores, its red and you store it in the fridge. I add Part B to bring the water up to 500ppm, then a teaspoon of the gel into the res, then airstone and heater, have roots around 4 days, complete in around 11 days for transplant. If you have never added nutes to your res, I suggest you try it,really speeds things up.
  14. Hi Bud Thanks for this, I've had great results in veg, but I was a bit unsure about flower.Interesting enough I emailed them and they said this : 'Part B contains plenty of Nitrogen, whereas Part A contains much less, and part A also contains other macro and trace elements which will be good for flowering, so definitely rather use part A in flowering, and not part B. You can check the labels of both to compare the Nitrogen's content in g/kg. Part B will be fine until about week 3-4 of flowering as it contains Calcium, which is important, just don't use too much. Little goes a long way.' - which kinda goes against your method and also what they say to do in the sheets,Im very confused lol Look the plants are doing fine, actually suffering from to much N atm so I thought let me recheck my nutes configuration, because this is the first time in using this, which lead me here.
  15. Necro! Im trying these out atm, does anyone know why they recommend Part B and MPK in flowering? I thought there is supposed to be no nitrogen in flowering stages?
  16. This seems so much faster than using bubble bags!Nicely done Plus if you want to do a small batch, you can - this isnt the case with bubble bags becaus of the straining and drying time.

Lol yeah, ok great, that looks really neat! I'm growing in pots this year and not in the ground because I wasted water last season. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk

Hey bud, looking good what's the plan here? Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  19. Correct, they don't really mention recommended storing amount, but in my situation my bud stank of gas and cookie dough, extremely strong and you could smell nothing at all outside the bag,but maybe if it was too full it wouldn't be able to mask/regulate itself.I though about throwing in a boveda but decided against it since I finished that delicious bud in no time [emoji31] edit : also boveda is meant for closed jars not bags lol Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  20. Why is my pic so low quality lol Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  21. I got the 226g I think.I only stored 140g of my forbidden skittles in there,it could take more than 226g I reckon. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  22. This is going to be a mixture of indoor and outdoor growing using soilless mix with chemical nutes and also comparison organic grows of the same cloned strain to compare the effects on the bud flavour and potency and the following- Factors for Chem vs organic comparison A Cost savings B Ease of use(consistent nutrient delivery vs microbe pop.) C Diagnosing and solving issues(Nutrient, pest, enviro) D Growth rate(Finishing time) Strains Seedsman :Badass cheese og Totemic: Chocolope,Bubba Kush Ethos: FSkittles (clone) White label : white skunk BNB: Bruce banner, grande crack Pics to follow Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  23. After trying grovebags I'm never going back to jar curing ever again.I just wonder how many times I can reuse the bag. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks man, yeah its the LactoBacillus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactobacillus_plantarum Interesting from that link (this correlates to what you said about large veggies) - 'Lactobacilli are unusual in that they can respire oxygen' -< Thats basically an airline in your medium ? lol - I could see how that would supercharge growth! So @Roasty basically to make it, leave rice water by a windowsill for a few days.Thats what I do,then dilute with water to prevent clogging spray pump.
  25. Budwash is personal preference or PM control if you have, so yes you dont have to do it - but if your bud is to dry then a soak is beneficial to prolong drying
