  1. Yeah I heard about it onthe radio at the doctors office.Fantastic time!
  2. Nah, all outdoors for now.First time growing outdoor so need to learn and see what this is all about.Plants are already being battered by the wind and the slugs, so making some adjustments, building some wind barriers. etc .
  3. Just some bagseed atm,but have some dutch passion autos that im busy preparing hempy buckets for:)
  4. Lol Another thing you could use is the dust filter from modern computer boxes - https://www.wootware.co.za/lian-li-pt-af14-2b-removable-washable-dust-filter-mount-kit-for-140mm-system-fan.html or you can use an open cell sponge thinly sliced, or you can use medical guaze (any pharmacy) The problem here is that the more effective your dust filter is, the faster it will clog, the more often you will have to clean it.Also, when it clogs it will reduce air pressure inside and plant s might get hot.You have to find a balance between thse 2 factors.
  5. Whatever you put on there is going to have an effect on the pressure intake, so dont put something like a cone filter because you fan doesnt have the pull power of an engine.
  6. Ordered from Trophy Seeds btu I havnt germinated yet.Good service though will a follow up email about whether i got it.
  7. Oh no,is this one done? Read the entire thing
  8. I would have taken that as a sign of goodluck. What are the genetics?
  9. Hey, You may need to look into small wine fridges, they normally dont have a freezer section.
  10. Thanks, I also have pest issues(but I dont consider my cat a pest).I bought Margarte Roberts Organic insecticide which is basically canola oil and garlic extract so i feel a bit cheated,BUT, the day after I sprayed them down, well darn, they were as healthy as ever.
  11. Welcome bud! I love sedgefield, love that area by the lake I remember smokin a j while fishing on that lake,
  12. You should only use pestcides that are meant for fruits and veggies.
  13. That was a big help, thanks man.Always good starting from this end and working towards a grow than looking at this bit last.
  14. Whats your soil mix consist of? What has you nutrient schedule been thus far?
  15. Yeah what Trailblazer said, another 2-3 weeks before transplanting. It totally up to you how many times you want to transplant. If you are confident in your plants and your setup then go for it, if you are unsure then progress slowly, just dont let them get root bound.
  16. Nice one dude, that is one heck of a light to be in that space,I think you could have just used the larger cabinet as a grow area lol
  17. @Prawnapple, Where are you based? I've got a brand new 400/250 W HPS enclosed unit that I never used.Magnetic ballast, reflective hood, all enclose in a box with a glass front, just a big security light.
  18. Darn i would have been so piseed off, but like you said, I hate getting rid of plants,I place all my weak plants into the ground outside and then they can die in honour, rather than to me lol
  19. Nice, one word of advice regarding the checkers pots - when its time to transplant remove the entire thing from the pot or just cut the bottom out, that cardboard restricts roots and they take longer to poke through.I wont use Checkers pots again after seeing them stunt the plants.
  20. Hey Bud, For heat issues, when all other avenues have been exhausted, the one thing I can tell you is that you may have to run your lights at night when the temps are cooler. I lost 3 plants to the insane wind, heat not really an issue for outdoor plants.
  21. Have you decided on LEDS or HPS or CFLs? Im new to LEDS, so can only offer advice towards HPS and CFL's.
