  1. So I've reached the end of week one of flower. Took them outside to give some water and a bit of a defoliating. Did a minimal snip and decided to pull some branches to the side and secured to the bags with pipe cleaners rather than go overboard with the snips. Group pic then 1,2,3 in top view. Hope I did the right thing.
  2. Little update. Short of a week into flower and still happy. Pics in no particular order.
  3. Not me. I'm a month behind flip. Will have the photo ready though. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk

  6. Morning all. Could one buy a good quality potting soil and add elemental blend or worm castings. I have a few 100l boxes/beds I want to try in the shade house this year. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  7. Finally day 1 of flower. 2l plain water shared between the 3. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  8. What The FCUK? T1 & T2 clones busy rooting my side for the sole purpose of being planted into 100l boxes in the shade house. To be honest, the Tortoni might have to fight for their space against the Haunted Kush Cake seeds left over from a previous grow. Looking forward to this summer doing a rerun on a variety of @Bay Seeds , @Totemic and @Daggafontein Genetics as part of my apprenticeship. Seeds were leftovers from previous test grows with no training in 10l pots. Going 20l plus this year with training. Hold thumbs. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  9. Girls were outside quick for some plain water. And looking good.
  10. Cool. Thanks. Wasn't concerned about being male, I've spent the last year learning to 'spot the male' and pretty good now. Was concerned all the stress I've put the girls through was doing something else. Really want to flip again but I'll give it another week and decide. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  11. 2c anyone? Plants were under 12/12 for 10 days. Switched back to veg. Been 3 weeks 18/6 now. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  12. Gonna follow everyone's advice and veg for longer. Little observation after reading comments on the re-veg. My plants battled in the beginning due to big pots and water retention. Then I flipped to flower on the recommended date. 10 days later put back into veg as I saw major problems growth wise. Here's my thoughts. I think my plants were so shocked for whatever reasons which resulted in stunted growth. They were in a state of shock still when I flipped to flower. 10 days later I realized with help from you guys to re-veg. Then I replanted into fabric bags. Plants started recovering. Thing is. Due to whatever stress the plants were going through did they actually go into flower in those 10 days due to their condition? I've got what looks like pistels but no re-veg signs ie: single leaf's after 2 weeks and the plants are booming now. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  13. Standing here looking at the plants I think I may just have to flip this weekend. Possibility I might run out of height.
  14. Considering not doing anything for now due to lack of experience. First week or two of flower I'll see what the plant is doing stretch wise and commit to trimming or leave be. On that note. Any Capetonions wanting to come train me and the plants, farm air, beer and a braai is on offer.[emoji12] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk

  17. Mid week cabinet shot. I'm happy. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  18. Since our very successful business went bang with covid my wife and myself decided to try and get in on the emerging market. I was surprised by the amount of growers out here and the talk over a pint at the bush pub was always the same. Gotta mission for simple things like jiffy plugs. Bingo. I started keeping my eyes open for bargains and quality products, arrange with suppliers if they would consider reselling prices and passed the deal on. I've been fortunate to have grown Totemic, Bay Seeds, Daggafontein Genetics and people started asking for clones. I have given clones away as I received clones for nothing. When and if I eventually sell clones I would like to have an agreement with the breeder firstly for credit and recognition and secondly to set up a royalty payment of sorts. I was surprised to see B&B and the likes selling clones. Is it still not illegal to sell plants? Breeders selling clones well it's theirs to sell. A seed importer taking a seed and cloning and selling multiple clones with no compensation to the person who sold him the seed just don't sound right. It's hard work trying to get a foothold in the market but honesty first man. I would rather you buy a product from me and receive a clone as a thank you. Probably work out cheaper. 19. 10 days or so since changing lights back to veg mode. The lights have been on 24hrs to help combat the cold but will be set on 18/6 from today. Lights are 400mm above plants at the moment. Looking at these beauties I wish I could dial the clock back. I'm in two minds on flipping to flower next Sunday which will be shy of 3 weeks of re-vegging. I'll probably do it anyways.
  20. Thanks. Just needed some confirmation. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  21. So the plants were in flower for 10 when I decided to put them back into veg. That puts them at 11 days in reveg now. Anyways I haven't given the plants a good inspection for some time and today I spotted these. Is this leftovers from going into flower or something else? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
