  1. Day 121 and day 37 12/12. Pics are in sets of 3 today plant #1 - #3. Watering twice a week now and adding molasses every 3rd or 4th watering. Nice sweet aromas starting to fill the garage.
  2. Thanks man. Lots of encouragement and solutions from the forum helped along the way. It could even be the Epson salts hey.[emoji2937] Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  3. I'll nominate last place for myself seeing my plant still has a month to go. I will still be putting a pic up on final judgement day when it's announced. Good luck all, some beauts out there. To the organisers and sponsors thanks and job well done. Can't wait for the next one. [emoji109][emoji2937] Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  4. I flipped on the 3rd but put back into veg for various reasons. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  5. Day 114 and day 30 of 12/12. As the competition draws to an end here I am. Some are getting ready to harvest while others are gonna push a bit longer then there is one or two of us that fucked up along the way. But finish we will. Just by looking at the killer plants that have been grown the I think the judges have their work cut out for them. Pics are in groups of four #1-#3. Finally figured out the blue bags are drying twice as fast as the brown bag. Gave them all a proper soaking today. For what it's worth I'll be putting T3 forward on judgment day. Bonus is I get to have a sneak peek to what my plants should look like in 40 days time.
  6. @Light It Up has a nice USB microscope for 400 bucks. Nifty little gadget. And of course I don't have any pics to show. Sorry. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  7. It's called The Grow Den. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks. Yeah the blue bags hey. All of them were given water yesterday but the 2 blue bags are giving me the finger. I think they are drying faster than the 1 brown bag. Gonna stick the moisture probe in them tomorrow and see. Convinced it has to do with to much or not enough water. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  9. Day 23 of 12/12. Pics are T1 & closeup, T2 & closeup, T3 & closeup then group shots. T1 is going purple and looks like T2 wants to. T3 is a totally different plant and my favorite. The two plants in the blue bags mmm. Not sure if it's over or under watering but I'll figure that out. The one plant nice and stable in the brown bag. All in all plants are ok I think and I'm happy.
  10. Not really. I did a test run using the propagation soil that is mixed on the farm a while back. When I asked about ingredients it was explained to me. Stoner me forgot. But like you say not ideal if you want to work with fungus in the grow. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  11. There is no steadfast ratio. I usually put 50g to a 30l bag of soil. There are a few ways to apply from spraying to sprinkling on top of the soil. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk

  13. I live on a farm that are specialists in veld and fynbos (specifically to the West Coast) propagation. Although it's far from cannabis it seems to work. Apparently no side affects from what I've researched on Google. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  14. There is a government sponsored facility opposite our bush pub that looks like shite to be honest but it's there. The owner brags about government connection's, spends big bucks supporting local business but charge's 5k/h if you want to chat to him about getting a foothold in the industry. 15. I was going to sit back and watch how this thread progresses and steal with my eyes. However since I got back from the bush pub tonight and sitting in the office with a spliff and another pint I've noticed fruit flies of a sort in the air. This is the first time since I've started growing indoors (close to 2 year's now) that I've had a fungas gnats problem. It is also the first time I have not mixed some cinnamon powder into my medium. I've used a variety of soils in the past (in our nursery plants and cannabis) and as a rule of thumb I always add cinnamon. No gnats. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  16. Yeah. When I first joined the forum I got an Uit Kak because my first question was where can I find him. Anyway I found him and nothing's changed. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  17. Grew some last season and ended up with two females from four. Forgot to take clones. Also wasn't sure about authenticity. Word is it came from a person called Jason or close to that name out of the nineties. Got the seeds via Mail Piet. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  18. Oh yeah. As an ex parabat the only time we look back is to collect the wounded and dead. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  19. Whoop whoop Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  20. Day 16 of 12/12. Pics T1,T2,T3 in order. Looking a bit droopy as it is watering time. Sticking to 2 waterings plain water and every third watering adding molasses. Keep wondering what they would look like if I didn't screw up in the beginning. But hey, super chuffed none the less. Sorry about the pic quality, new phone, complicated camera.
  21. Veg midnight - 06.00 am off Flower 18:00 - 06: am off Reason being if there's a power outage during the day I can respond by moving plants outside or switch on the generator. During the night we have shoppers looking for anything to steal especially electrical cabling out here. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk
  22. Totally agree. I think some of my plants have more balls than I do. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
  23. @Light It Up has reasonably priced QB's. Takes the away stress of importing, for me personally anyway. Then @growopz is also very helpful. I was looking at a diy but found it easier for Daniel to build me a light at a slight premium. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
