  1. 1 week in flower for the Dark Phoenix, Chem d still vegging. Will be joining the flowering tent on Sunday.
  2. Awweee my brother, appreciate the kind words. Yeah, I've been making a lot of mistakes still and everyday, I go, ahhh for F sake. This was wrong and that was wrong. But anyway, we just growing some cannabis to relax the thoughts and tend to the adult use needs, doesn't need to be rocket science but it certainly can. Cool bro beans, keep at it. And I shall too, need to continue on the studies and things may go a little smoother, or better.
  3. So the tent frames are in your bigger space, ahhh that’s exactly what you need man, clever thinking. you need to create a space within a space, that is a nice scrog frame too
  4. Whats up man, Yea that's my problem with flushing a living soil, when you put more than 10% of water in a living soil, the soil is now waterlogged and everything takes much longer to happen. So if you flushing in terms of a strategical move to lower the EC, that's fine. But unless the leaves are crisping up and the plant is visibly super unhappy, I would then only water 10% per time and then you should be getting some run off and also lowering the EC. But also waiting forever for the next watering, which is essential, you could find yourself digging a bottomless pit going this route. Try be very careful not to over water the specific plant. My biggest mistake is treating all the plants the same. That's lots of love you have given you plants, everything they will need for a long while I'm sure. If that plant is now super heavy after the flush and you wanting it to dry out a bit faster. My advise is to possibly remove the mulch from her for now. But With all that Ecosystem boosting you've do0ne, you can certainly expect some super happy plants in the coming, cool man all the best!
  5. 3 days in flower now for the Dark Phoenix, the other Chems are doing well, before and after Defol. Should be ready by the end of next week I recon and the loadshedding light is up and running The Chem d before and after small defol
  6. I suggest while you wait to plant some cover crops, to get some roots in the soil. The only way to get the best diversity of microorganisms in the soil that will best support your main plants is to grow cover crops, all different types to encourage a nice diversity, and also to keep the soil covered. the sun hitting the soil pushes the microorganisms down about 3-4 inches, making your soil ageing less productive. Then you can work that nitrogen back into the soil and you’ll have a great source of easily digestible nitrogen, without interfering with the roots that have developed, chop and drop, will create real good aggregation too.
  7. So 2 of the Pluto cut autos came up, hoping we get 1 girl, or 2
  8. Howzit bud! Welcome back. I think that’s a great idea, I always wanted to experiment with HID during winter, makes a lot of sense to me. that environment in my mind will be very happy, if you got lights on at night type of vibe, then I don’t know how a 600w hid will manage in a 60 x 60, maybe 80 or best 1m2 keen to see the grow,
  9. Sounds like a fun opportunity, Many of the members have social media accounts and i'm sure would be happy to apply. I, myself do not have any of the above unfortunately, best of luck though
  10. Flower time… for the big girls. Have the space to keep the chem dogs back for another week or 2 to get them to a better size
  11. Thanks @Onion done, if members have Facebook accounts and want to help making a difference. Share with your friends and family asseblief, that’s way too little comments for this amendment that’s not playing in our favour at all.
  12. Defol as we go and first top dress done, may flower the big plants separately
  13. No problems man! Appreciate all the hard work will remember to ring this thread up come Jan
  14. Ok I see, yeah that’s the usual number with plants without additional nutrients being added. I’ve also been using Explogrow, but not regularly, I’ll do it like ever 3/4 weeks, before flower and transplants etc. Don’t know if it does anything, but I do want to start brewing my own microbe teas again, well more like a compost extracts, seen the best results from those. yeah your plants definitely look bigger going into flower, at the end of the day, you cant expect big yields from small plants I guess. all the best man
  15. Awe garden community and @420SA What's the chances of doing another competition? Sure it was much painstaking work and tediously annoying organization. Not to mention getting all the willing sponsors involved etc.etc. So understandable if not, but you gotta ask and see... The forum was jumping with the last one.
  16. You have similar numbers from 18 plants? or a similar number from 8 of those 18 plants? Asking because I remember you said you just inoculate with enviroc microbes, what do you average per plant?
  17. Here we are another week, I think I’m gna flip next week or so, still want to do a couple of feeds before though. added a intake and bigger exhaust, and another fan, so airflow should be good.
  18. No argument, there’s probably a ton on all the food we eat anyway, but obviously cause for concern. I think is good to follow directions to a T there. I used pyrol full dose for aphids, being careful in flower not to spray buds however never had aphids problem during flower. Maybe it was some type of mite
  19. I don't know hey, I think it was more fun having a tent big enough that 2 people and the dog with the plants could all fit
