  1. Very nice build man! Should last you a good long time. Does the humidity drop during the day heavily?
  2. Cheers man, yeah is really beneficial growing space, surely won’t be easy though. Yeah, ideally it could be just frames and air could move everywhere. Will update when exhaust fan goes in and effect thereof
  3. Aaaaayghtt! I’m ready come at me
  4. that’s egg shell powder aka calcium carbonate.
  5. So we are growing again, and this is the first run in the new greenhouse from a SA company called easy greenhouse, https://easygreenhouses.co.za/ very helpful and delivery didn't take long. Still a few more tasks to tackle namely, extraction and circulation fans, but for now, we have power and spotlights for extra veg time, blumats installed and digital soil moisture meter. a few wasted days/weeks however, as the environment is still being dialed in, and so is the soil, from the colour of the cover crop and plants, the soil is in well need of nitrogen and other basic dietary needs, which I have top dressed and watered in about a week ago. Whats growing... - 1 x Chimpancheese (first plants nearest to the door) - 1 x DSCxbrucebanner - 2 x Grandpa stash (in the 20litres) - 1 x Sky stomper reg(in the 15L) there is another one but it got fried after a couple of IPM sprays - 1 x Tortoni - another 1 x DSCxbrucebanner Cheers, lets see how easy or kuck hard it could be to grow in this greenhouse. Temps and Humidity shoot to absolute extremes despite the current season, so cold and wet at night 99% humidity, but really hot, 38 sometimes 40 degrees in the day, and 20% humidity. Don't think this will be feasible during summer. However ventilation is on the cards. Whole new ball game.
  6. Ya, bud rot is unfortunate, but at least it means you grew massive colas
  7. Hello garden folk, quite a while since my last update. But never the less, we are starting to grow again. Of my last round above, I kept clones of the following which I will be growing again. - Totemics DSC x Bruce Banner x 2 (This plant just amazes me the growth, laterals, and nodes dense all the way down) - Totemics Tortoni (Keeper pheno) x 1 - Grandpa stash (both phenos, will grow again to get better expressions) - Chimpancheese (Nice yielder and beautiful smoke, not only cheesy but more fruity etc.) x1 Then I planted 4 seeds of SKY Stomper by Smiley Angels (MAC Stomper x Sky Cuddler Kush F3) 2 popped other 2 fadded away into the puddle of muddle I created, oops, tad bit heavy handed. Cool beans, these will be grown in the new greenhouse, stay tuned. Then some images of the Tortoni and The DSCxBB.
  8. This round is looking great , how long did you veg for?
  9. Im Sure he knows the basics through, I read above i think he says he grew hyrdo before. Anyhow, plant still looks good and well on its way to being lekke bud
  10. @Trichome please sir, nobody is taking a dig at you. Just in case. Alls good in green
  11. Feeding a healthy plant does more damage than good - I love this! I think that can only apply to situations of surplus or excess. Which unbeknown to me, was the first 3/4 years of my growing experience obviously only because i was wanting to grow organic. But understanding little about how much unbalanced nutrients was actually in my soil, similar to that of Orgasoil and Antifragil. Good for flowering plants never the less. Plants want small amounts of nutrients in the beginning of their life cycle, they want a lot at the end of their life. Everyone does it backwards with organics.
  12. Hello @Trichome Plant looks good, I think the deficiencies you are noticing are actually lockout issues. New growth looks good. 15l pots filled with Orgasoil Part of me wants to say just water till the end as plant is not much bigger than pot. Other part if you must feed, way way less is more.
  13. Well I don't know how else it would make it serious enough for the organizers as well as the growers to have some what of a successful comp. There is an element of commitment when the entrance fee is substantial. Also it makes it easier to then have a decent prize pool. I don't think the cops care about our little home growers competition. Honestly, and if they do, they actually need to worry about the dude growing 100/1000 plants, not the little pikininis
  14. Hello everyone! Yes, I hear everyone about the competition, some people would rather just make decisions and have a comp to present to the fine people of SA. Be it through a small forum or well established group of growers. Doesn't matter to me, I don't think people will go out of their way to purchase absolute fire bud just to win. I'm not appose to having the bud judged and also don't care if there is no Bud judging. Either way. If we do judge bud, then only 3/5 max people should be the judges for ease of getting the result finalized. Or best option I think, PICTURE Judging! I wouldn't change anything from the last competition. I think we just do it again and set the dates. It works out super well, got some great action from the forum. Everybody was involved and there was a nice buzz in the air. If we can just all put our heads together regarding the prizes, maybe a substantial entrance fee, 1/2 goes to prizes and 1/2 goes to @Totemic and admin, reg, courier. Hopefully Tote got the hook up some fire genetics again. Sure he can. How about a decent R500 entrance fee. Money makes the world go round. then there are many possibilities. And also rule out the indoor only, make it both indoor and outdoor. Anybody can participate. I dont know, just some 3c's
  15. @420SA Said I should make a tring tring in the new here
  16. Should work, use the elemental blend as a top dress for flower and that help with the much need minerals for flower, 1 week before flip.
  17. Both soils are for flowering plants, either they are going straight into flower or larger plants repotted with some 1/2 weeks veg time and then flower. Soil tests in both are quite undesirable in my experience. High in chlorides, sodium, potassium and magnesium. A good heavy watering of the soil before planting would do good. With distilled water preferably. Best option would be to make your own and under-do all the amendments A - Z
  18. Welcome, glad you found a good green haven, share your grow and explore threads that interest you
  19. Just before a repot … double sunset died
  20. Same here Man! think it will result lekke, heard good things about the Bruce banner
  21. Another week, fade is starting. Plants are inside again for weather concern, not ideal but they surviving. And then then this auto, got me highly intrigued
  22. yeah I've notice the same thing. With some of the bigger sized pots, how much of a different in terms of how the root like wider pots, im not too sure. I like these potsthough, they are the 40L max grow pots from Organics matter.
  23. Some fresh new seedlings coming in HOOOOTTT! I've just got a good feeling. We have Far left - Totemics Tortoni Middle left - Totemics SSC x Tortoni Middle right - Ethos Grandpas stash Far right - Totemics Bruce banner x DSC Down under - 1 x Totemics Double sunset Lets see how these plants fair over summer
