  1. 1,2kg per household is positive for now... But we know our government and all those decision making politicians too well. Corruption on a scale that's potentially larger then any other lies on the tail end of this. So what do we do? Just continue staying under the radar and never keep more then 1,2kg of dried weed in one household? It's gonna be difficult considering they gonna weigh our trim, larfies, etc together with our bud.
  2. It's not feasible for some as the amount of packs required would be totally ridiculous. Cheaper to buy a few hygrometers to use as a guide and before long you will get the hang of knowing when to stop the drying process. The curing part requires very little input. Long term storage with bovidas I can imagine is superior. Unfortunately none of my weed make it to the long term storage container.
  3. @trichomechaser Smooth sailing buddy. Looking forward to seeing this grow.
  4. Would have expected the cheese genetics in it to be stinking up your house by now. Maybe it's blueberry leaning and the terp production gonna happen now in the last 2/3/4 weeks. Barneys state 7-8 weeks but we all know more like 9-10 weeks. How's the frost production? Cheese's are generally not very frosty and blueberry is quite frosty so that might indicate something. Nevertheless your garden is rocking. If Barneys disappoints atleast we will know for ourselves.
  5. Teach dem dam mites to mess with you... Just don't let the cape town wind blow dos mites this way.
  6. Just do what you doing, the polls will take care of itself.
  7. I've been buying seeds for a long time. Directly from European seed banks and from holy smoke seeds when they first came available. I bought from green smoke room when they first opened and had a hidden menu that required a special password that was very difficult to obtain. Putting the price aside the best customer service I've received was from @Cannabist, well except for when he 1st opened and payfast froze his account. But even then he fixed the issue and compensated all affected by it. I highly recommend @Cannabist to everyone. On a side note I have no affiliation with them. I've just been super happy with the owners attitude and his willingness to assist. Don't believe me, give them a try...
  8. @DankFiend Garden looking on point. Beautiful well trained plants. Good job... love how the fan is just there in the middle of it all amongst the sexy ladies. Too bad about the bud rot. Good choice in bringing that plant down. I can imagine the airflow has improved. Late flower is always nail biting times. These weeks just need to pass by so you can reach the finish line and then maybe one of your blue cheeses can reward you with a dehumidifier for next round. I haven't flipped my blue cheese as yet. Over grew them like always. Had to bring them down to size. Gave them a week to recover from all the broken branches. Tomorrow they get flipped.
  9. What else defines a quality breeder, if we disregard all the hearsay from the forums etc, the fancy packaging and just look at breeding practices. A simple example Barneys Farm, they produce all their seeds outdoor in bulk. You can get their genetics from alot of different seed banks worldwide. +-150 a feminised seed. VS Medigrower(MG1 seed co.), he produces all his seeds in a sealed 4 x 4 flood and drain breeding chamber. Empire breeding company have just restocked his Primal Punch F2. +-150 a regular seed. You cannot buy these seeds anywhere else in the world.
  10. @Za Weed Lover I'm in agreement with you... What defines a quality breeder to me is when you fork out $60 for a 6 pack of regulars and when you pop them you find phenos that it was bred for in just 6 seeds. You will also find that these seeds were bred in a sealed chamber with a limited amount produced. Empire breeding company is rocking the FIRE right now in the states.
  11. Both grow big solid buds. Tells us about how you grow and the things you do and maybe we can figure out what you doing wrong.
  12. Working smart and not hard...
  13. @CreX Yoh bru very very nice, your veg room is happening. How do you deal with runoff?
  14. Plus it looks like you in the good books with her bullie, maybe he's a smoker too... You have to use whatever advantage you can. Soon you'll be growing 1 2 plants by his house too. And when you upgrade to growing photos, don't buy seeds. Hit me with a PM. I'll hook you up with some fire cuts.
  15. Brother, I've checked your cupboard build and I take my hat out for your effort. I think having the cupboard on the balcony is a bad idea. I'm an indoor durban grower and it's difficult keeping temps down inside the house leave alone the balcony. The plants are going to be stressed out in there and produce poor results. It's also going to be an eyeball opening the grow cupboard at night amongst other issues. You better off leaving the structure of that cupboard there as a grow shelf and grow the plants in it with the sun. You could put a sun net on all the open sides to increase privacy and give the plants the greenhouse feel. I've grown many plants outdoor that the buds look indoor. Don't be down and think we not having faith. You should try convince your wife to give you a small space inside, use bribery, blackmail, whatever... from there you can slowly start taking over till half your house is dedicated to growing
  16. I wouldn't say it's not required cos it has its place and really allows you to water plants multiple times in a day. In saying that I also prefer using coco on its own but only because it's more forgiving when it comes to the time it takes to dry out between feedings
  17. Hi where is the Pratley store that sells 100ltr Perlite at 204. That's tops and is half the price I'm paying atm. On a side not... a 5kg block of coco hydrates into 50litre.
  18. @Oolong83 Sorry to hear about your issues. On the onset I would like to say if you seeing webs on buds already then the chances of a fight is quite impossible. I've had spidermites in flower and I did manage to keep them at 'BAY' till the finish line. First step would be to remove any leaves that has feeding marks on it. Then remove all branches below the top of the canopy and yes that's all the branches that has medium sized buds and larfies. Last step of defence is to drop the temperature in the grow room with an aircon light ON and OFF. Spidermites thrive in warm dry conditions and by changing that you are increasing the amount of time spidermites require to lay eggs and the time it takes eggs to hatch. Hope this reaches you in time before you try nuking them with CO2 and then throwing them on a skottel with some chilli beef aromat...
  19. One more R spec and he's gonna hit it out the park.

  21. What are the average yields per HLG 550 or equivalent?
  22. Nice topic Captain. I'm also considering the move. My only concern is yield. Could an hlg 550 or similar yield as much as a 1000W in a 1.5m x 1.5m tent?
