  1. I've given the Organic Tent™ some attention today. I've repositioned the two Wedding Cake plants in the middle so that they do not overwhelm the OMG plants surrounding them and also removed more big fan leaves in general. I'd also like to give an initial observation to the four OMG plants I've got going. OMG #1: Super thicc edition. The internodal spacing on this plant is so tight that in the time I have grown an 8-way manifold on the other plants, this one is still stuck on just an initial top, so two main stems. I'm thinking of just keeping this one at two main colas so that it doesn't compete with itself too much and to also keep up in terms of height. This pheno would be really good as a sea-of-green with many small pots and single colas. If this pheno rocks me dead then I'll keep it, otherwise I will be selecting for yield and training ability. OMG #2: Getting warmer. An 8-way manifold was achieved but it's still quite tight. This is as tight as I would want before I feel like the stems would begin heavily competing with each other. I've put a comparison photo next to the one below showing the difference between the OMG #2 and Wedding Cake behind it. OMG #3: The cripple. I broke this one while training and the attempted rescue of the stem failed. I might consider topping this one once again to get two colas, or I might just grow one cola. The internodal spacing on this one is also pretty tight so that's why I might lean towards just the one cola. I would say this one is between #1 and #2. OMG #4: Probably the best one going so far in terms of veg growth and training. This one has the largest internodal spacing of the four OMG, but still tighter when in comparison to the Wedding Cake. If it were judged in terms of it's ability to achieve the 8-way manifold then this would be the one. If it yields quality flower it will be the keeper.
  2. Here's a thorough update. My small veg tent has some well established and trained dedicated mother plants and clones being taken every two weeks. I am doing this mostly for cloning practice and to guarantee I don't lose a potential harvest again because of delayed clones. Other veg tent I am deciding on when to flip. I was thinking of considering it when the current feed in the reservoir finishes up, probably another week. Some fun in the Organic Tent™. I have completed training on some of the plants that allowed it. Two of the OMG phenos are working really nicely with training, the other two have such tight internodal spacing that I am probably just going to top them once only. The two Wedding Cake clones in the center are doing well. While training one of the OMG plants, I accidentally snapped off the one branch. I attempted to remedy it by sticking it back in place and supporting it, but it eventually just atrophied, so I shopped it off. This particular plant will then just have a single cola, lol. Finally, we are at week 6 in the big flower tent. I've removed most of the big fan leaves. Trichomes are busting and the terpenes are great. Very Autumny colours this time around with the ZxP. I am really looking forward to this one. I have also invested in a trim bin to collect some dry hash that I would like to then press for dab. The remaining trim I would then like to make some infused sunflower oil with for some edibles.
  3. Just kidding about the name but clubs definitely do change the names of strains they acquire.
  4. What kinda treats and tricks you have for us?
  5. Most probably the case. More often than not as soon as a grow club or distributor acquires a strain in bulk they will tend to just name it to whatever they want before sending off themselves. Look for the name "Austrian Artist" as an alternative to "Hitler".
  6. Yes that will work. You aren't aiming to grow with the light, just making sure the light hours are extended.
  7. I think you would be faced with the same issues you had previously if you plant outside now. I would expect the plants to reveg before fully flowering within the next 2/3 months. Unless you maybe keep a little spotlight on the plants and veg through the rest of this year and flower some monsters for next year's outdoor harvest
  8. A little cheeky vanity shot of the upcoming ZxP harvest. Currently week 5.
  9. Very cool @Bay Seeds, thanks for the thought! @The_StonedTrooperyou got some mad cool looking ones there. That AI generator must be such a jol to play around with.
  10. I used to also use the Sonoff switches but have since moved on to the Major Tech digital timer. Was a bit pricey to replace all the Sonoff switches but at the end of the day well worth it.
  11. What is this, a mass plantation for ants!?
  12. Closest I can think of is Hi Grow on Lynnwood Rd. I haven't been there in some time so let us know how it's looking https://goo.gl/maps/ddhaEVaWbQFjfZrT9
  13. Bruh, story of my life. Lost an entire potential harvest at the beginning of Winter because of this. Trying to do a better run now with a heat mat and a close eye.
  14. Some training and more topping in the veg tents. One OMG is throwing some thiccc leaves!
  15. Exactly 4 weeks and halfway through flower for the big tent ZxP. I've cleaned the bottom of the canopy a little bit every now and then and I think it's looking nice for the last half of flower. Good airflow and light penetration. Strong fade already but this has been an unfortunate result of the bad medium in the beginning. We will salvage as best as we can from this one. Smaller tent is coming along very well, probably one of the best veg periods I've had in a while just goes to show you can't overlook anything when playing with the big boys. I am waiting for a bit more stretch and then I will throw in a net to start the spread and initial canopy. Organic Tent™ has begun the first top and is recovering. The 4 OMG plants have some fat leaves and look good and green. There is a persistent issue with the Wedding Cake, even the mother continuously suffers from what looks like a calcium deficiency but no matter what the adjustment, the mother and clones will grow but they stay faded and almost look to have what seems to be like a mutation to the growth of the leaves. There is a very texture like feel to the leaves, like puffed up sorta. I spoke to a few growers at a get together and we think the cloning line has come to an end. She's tired, boss. So I am going to grow out these last two Wedding Cakes and then look for a replacement to the stable. The comparative growth to the fresh seeds growing alongside is enough justification to me.
  16. High friends in high places. A friend in need is a friend indeed, a friend with weed is better
  17. Yikes. Doesn't look like the news has run through the local industry yet. JuicyFields are supposedly presenting the Cannabis Expo this weekend. Doesn't look super hot to those brands associating themselves with them.
  18. Shot, when I checked them when you first mentioned them in the other thread they were all sold out. Glad they are back in stock now.
  19. I have been frequenting the Cheeba cannabis college in Rivonia this last little while and from what I can see with regards to setting up a commercial cannabis facility, a nice target number to work with is about R50mil all inclusive from start to finish. Yikes. My father did accounting for a mushroom farm I think in the KZN area and they coin it big. You might not be disappointed keeping on the mushroom trail until you hit that R50mil.
  20. I've actually since just researched the shit out of bubble hash and that process so I might even just go down that route
  21. @Naughty.Psychonaut let the man do his thing from here. I know you're probably loading up a moerse rebuttal now but as you said before you've had this conversation a hundred times. We haven't even gotten a chance to see a grow diary or report yet. Let's look forward to that before going full nuclear.
  22. I learnt my lesson early with crypto
