  1. @The Grass Baas I feel you man, I'm also playing with the veg time with the big tent. I also want to focus on how thick the actual canopy will be too, because I also have a similar situation to you where I want bigger plants to produce bigger buds. My additional reasoning is to also keep an ideal and efficient canopy that doesn't draw away too much energy from the main nugs, but also so that the popcorn nugs as many as they might be, are also well developed. I want airy popcorn nugs to be at an absolute minimum. @ORGANinc. shap shap, I'm also thinking next week'ish for flip.
  2. Canopy is coming along. I've got the itch to hit the flip. I am about a week past when I would usually flip so far. I feel like I want to still push veg for a bit. The cold is making the plants a bit droopy during the morning but they perk up during the afternoon. In the past I've had to battle with sub 10C temps but now the temps don't dip more than 16C and my current max is 24C. Not ideal for veg to have such cold periods, but it won't be for much longer and the general growth seems to be coming along regardless. The canopy would probably look a bit more bushy if the leaves were praying up. The last few days the plants were looking a little pale so I've since raised my LED wattage to a total of 640W and the nutrient feed is at 1.8 EC. They are looking much greener today already.
  3. Speaking of the big tent, I've gotten the first net installed to keep the initial canopy spread level. This time around I have also removed all the LST lines seeing as the first net will now do the majority of the LST and when I add the second net shortly after flip that will also help shape the final canopy. I want to really develop a solid canopy this time around, so I will let the canopy grow close to where the LEDs are sitting now and then flip. I am hoping for this round to be the yielder I have been looking for
  4. Harvest update, the Organic Tent™ yielded 168g total between the four plants. Growing naturally I yielded roughly 37g per plant. With the new growing technique I managed 42g per plant... progress? I don't know. I think I need to try the same manifold again, but bigger plants. What a coincidence! That's exactly what I am going to do with my autopots in the big tent! Watch this space.
  5. Gradual changes. I would vary my pH up and down during the course of a week when I was doing DWC.
  6. This can become a rabbit hole real quick. With the given parameters of absolute minimum to get something A-grade, on a budget and in a tight space @SkunkPharm has got it pretty thought out. I run my 120W at 80W for veg in a 1mx1m tent, so if for example later down the line a person could upgrade and get a bigger tent as a flower tent then keep the 60x60 with the 75W as a veg tent. But I do agree, 75W will is a bit thin for flower, but if the hypothetical person lollipops the shit out of their plants they might get a handful of solid heads on top. I wouldn't do el natural either, definitely top. I rate we go into what the ultimate growing technique would be for a 60x60 75W grow.
  7. Growth in veg is going well, all healthy plants and the training is even and flat for the most part. I will soon add in the first net to act as the initial spreader and leveler of the canopy. At that point I think I will start looking into flipping. In my last grow I flipped around here already and after harvest I felt I could have used a little bit more height in the space for some fatter buds and maybe less canopy. I got a few more pocorn nugs than expected so I would like to reduce that on this run.
  8. I like boobs. Firejuice is biological. Smells horrible. Don't be tempted to smell it, you will forever remember it. Trick your friends.
  9. No doubt, Mr Canuk gave me the idea for a organic soil, worm castings and fertliser amendment plus water only grow... don't forget the mycorrhiza So this is what you do, you get the Organics Matter Living Soil, then you get the worm castings, Talborne vita grow and Talborne vita fruit/flower from Leroy Merlin. You mix 1/4 worm castings, 3/4 living soil, scoop of vita grow for when you transplant seedlings into their final pots, plus myco. Just add water. As you flip, you chuck in a scoop of vita fruit and a touch of vita grow on the top. Just add water until harvest. Do this and you've pretty much got a Mr Canuck style grow. In my opinion, you watch the progress of flower and maybe chuck in some additional Fire Juice or an AACT mid-flower and maybe some probiotics or Em-Pro soil throughout the grow. When my Biobizz is done, I will play with the above.
  10. You do get N-P-K fetilisers here such as Talborne, but not in the specific ratios that Mr Canuk uses, just slightly different. I wouldn't use or even do exactly what Mr Canuk does because frankly his video editing is better than his growing.
  11. Fire Juice is Freedom Farms and Talborne you can get from Leroy Merlin. Mr Canuk uses Gaia Green products.
  12. I have maybe one more grow left where I can still use the full Biobizz range but after that I am just going to just use the Fish Mix, Gro and Bloom with maybe the addition of some Fire Juice during flower. Then after that I am going to try the Talborne route. I think we will collectively all have a very good idea about Biobizz within the next year I rate.
  13. He's playing on Instagram with all the influencers
  14. I think they are ready Organic Tent™ harvest commences tomorrow!
  15. You rate it will get by normal folk?
  16. Third step of training complete! The branches have all been topped past the 4th node and now each plant has 8 specific stems to produce the canopy. On Tuesday I will be feeding from the Autopot reservoir and shortly after that I will switch on the air pump for the airdomes. I am hoping for explosive growth from that point on and to build this canopy as fresh as possible. I will start with one lower net that will roughly be the height of the current plants now and then later on I will add another net, probably a week or two after flipping to flower. No more flops. The goal for this run is to have as flat a canopy as possible, but also slightly bigger plants than what we have going in the Organic Tent™ but also keep the canopy thickness roughly the same. I have found that keeping a canopy of roughly 20cm thick is usually the move as you will limit the amount of tiny tiny popcorn nugs and have a little more light penetration in general for the most lower buds, but at 20cm thickness they pretty much get direct light from the LEDs. Due to the manifold one does not get the fat queen colas as you would with growing a normal xmas tree style, so by attempting to get bigger plants I am hoping to increase the size of the buds slightly even with using the manifold technique. This is also a part of the endeavor to increase per plant yield.
  17. If you had an unlimited budget, which vape pen would you choose? Specifically to vape concentrate like rosin. There are many option and I usually just scroll through vapestore.co.za when I think I have some cash to spare but then I ended up just getting the dab rig for at home use.
