  1. Organics Matter is certainly the best I've tried. Prefer it over Freedom Farms, plants have been happier in it and you get a small 20ml bag of mycorrhizal fungi in each 30l bag of soil. Its useful! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  2. Doubt you'll be waiting 5 months... You'll probably still get weed in 2 months. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  3. Aren't they meant to be coco peat? An inert substrate. Perhaps it contains trich? Not a bad idea to place some trich in there though. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

    LIGHT BURN?

I honestly don't know how accurate the sensors are. Just checked my light and this is what I got. Max was right up to the light and had an a ersge of just over 50k around my canopy. The app I'm sure is fine, it's the sensors in our phones which I'm unsure of in terms of accuracy. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

    Thoughts

I don't have much experience but I'd say so. I believe nute burn is more all around the edges of the leaves and they tend to turn brown then too. Have you been checking the pH of your feed? What nutes and soil are you using?
  6. Mine isn't 1 sqm, it's a bit smaller actually. I will have to see how many females plants I have and then how much space is needed per plant. I can fit 8x 20L fabric pots inside there, a tight fit with nothing else being able to fit inside then. Not idea. I do have a scrog net, which I may or may not use. So I guess with time we shall see how many females I am left with and how it turns out once they're inside the flowering tent.
  7. It depends how big you want your plants to get to. I am using 20L (well 22L to be precise) fabric pots as my final pots and I feel they're sufficient. I do not want to fill my pots to the top otherwise it's difficult to move the pots and to train the plants. Also after watering the soil it settles and the level drops a bit.
  8. Looking good! I am sure they will turn out great!
  9. Hahaha, post count doesn't always mean what one may think it does. Been learning a lot and trying to share my knowledge too. I've been able to confirm that some of my pants are female have 5 or 6 which I'm unsure of so waiting for those to grow a bit more and then I will be culling the males and repotting the 2 smaller plants which aren't yet in fabric pots. They're both confirmed as female. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  10. Nice man, glad your friend got sorted!
  11. Ahh ok, was that their first feeding with nutes? I don't know nitrosol. You trying to put the plants outside for light? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  12. Nice, when do you plan on giving nutrients?
  13. I looked into that a while ago and they were all more expensive than a TV. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  14. Why have they not done this with Cannapax? Someone needs to tell Xoli about Cannapax.
  15. Agree 100%. I'll happily remove the built in antenna in the TV if it were possible and required.
  16. Welcome! Keen to see some of your grows and learn from all your years of experience!
  17. How else are they going to get money for their fire pools, fancy cars and Nandos meals? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  18. We don't know yet, have to wait for the laws to be written. If something happens, a judge has to decide whether it can be justified as personal use or not. So you need to be able to motivate it at least. Nothing set in stone though. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  19. It's all good "investing" money into the batteries although the lifespan on the batteries is the issue. They don't last, chances of you getting more than 5 / 6 years out of the batteries is very unlikely and as they age their capacity decreases to. You can use a car as an example, the ones with stop / start which use the agm batteries often have a lifespan of around 5 years. The not flooded lead acid batteries, often 2 to 3 years lifespan. Naturally thr AGM batteries are more expensive and their usage in a car vs a solar system which is constantly being charged and power drawn will affect the lifespan. Batteries have limited cycles. They also have a limited shelf life, so even with it not being used it will degrade over time. Having a smaller setup for load shedding can be done with a couple of grand, although off the grid is very different. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  20. Nice, so seems to be working? You plan on breeding the plant with itself or? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  21. I'm sure you'd be able to get stuff couriered to you. I'm using Biobizz for nutrients. Since I'm doing the organic soil route decided to get some em pro soil (a microbe inoculant) and then I also got some kelpak and CalMag. The em pro drops you pH super fast! So best to have something on hand to bring it up and a decent pH pen. There are quite a few online shops, the main two which come to mind are Grow Guru and Hydroponic.co.za Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  22. I'd love one, just the price is high for the average joe who grows for himself.
  23. Its something I was debating and doing quite a bit of research on and I was deciding between 3500k or perhaps even two separate lights for veg and flower or adding extra blue or extra red and after more research decided just to go for the 3000k lights. Go take a look at my two grow diaries (the normal one and the indoor grow odd one), they've all been under the 3000K light only. They're very bushy and not stretching at all, very healthy looking despite the few mistakes I've made with pH and such. The amount of blue light needed is really not much at all. I personally feel purchasing a 4000k light is a waste as its not needed for veg and isn't ideal for flowering either. During flowering is when the plants need the most intense light anyways and they want more red than blue spectrum then. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  24. I run "full spectrum" 3000K LED's and have no issue, will be used for both veg and bloom.
