  1. Lmao, no, I'm not competing. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  2. That's really sad man. The roots look fine so I don't think it was that. How much space does the root ball take up in the bucket? Is your air pump sufficient? Im calling root bound with little access to fresh o2. Let's see what others say. Sad man, [emoji17] Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  3. Hey bud, would love to see how she's doing [emoji846] Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  4. Hey, what light do you intend using in the tent? [emoji848] Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  5. So I cleaned up the Tortoni, banana Mac and Slurricane, flipped them yesterday under the qb. I am afraid I have left them get too big but I do have some space left if they really stretch, mainly worried about the slurricane.(Pics below) I moved the remaining 3 moms to the smaller veg tent, and have 4 established clones going, but going to take more soon. (Pics to Follow) My outdoor clones are all established and the roots are growing out the bottom of all of them so have some hard graff to do this coming week with the light hours moving pass the 12 hour mark, it's time to get my outdoor veg on! 6. Howdy, Looking good but there are some things to tackle. Nitrogen only source of fertiliser in the flowering phase is a general no no and is the reason why the buds are not fattening up and looking pointy. I also made this error when I tried organic and have now switched to fully synthetic and am happy with it. Are you using anything to provide a source of k? You also need to get a Ph pen because after each watering and application of amendments the Ph will swing and can't be corrected from memory after a few weeks of this. I recently went through having to replace a Ph pen and had one shipped to me from communica. Coza- found that to be the cheapest at that time. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  7. I would try top dress with worm castings and then water throughly. Been having some great success with my outdoor tortoni they also they loose alot of water in this wind, the soil looks a little dry. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  8. So I have been going clone crazy on these moms, got about 20 going at the moment and 4 established clones from my homemade protein tub cloner lol 2 weeks with a light 0.2 ec nute solution, then they go straight into moist coco and don't get water until they start basically dying/wilting. 9. She looks bushy, how's the wpm, all gone? I would do a small defoliation on Her. I know ppl recommended not to do that past week 3, maybe the other guys can chip in here. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  10. Wow she has pulled through and looking fantastic man, nice1! Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  11. Nice one! I have a 60ml syringe that I use when I put the plants back in the tent and the trays start to fill, but that's backbreaking [emoji23] Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  12. Some details I should probably include [emoji23] Ec is 1.3, Im following week 6 in the hortimix excel sheet, and the Tortoni gets 6l, the moms get 3l each and I also alternate between Ph 5.8 and 6.2 every other watering. Watering is a chore because I have to remove each plant and water until they drain out, then put them back [emoji23] Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  13. Here she is 15th September, only 11 days later She gained some width and height Branching Main trunk Mom tent, +-70 cm tall Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  14. A couple pics from 4th September Tortoni is enjoying the 40l fabric pot, but she is too leafy and has alot of lower growth so, I stripped her bare to see how she would handle it Mom tent Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  15. Is it me or is she loosing her greenness? [emoji848] I used Hortimix and noticed this loss even when the ec is on Point. Is your Ph always been around 5.8? My remedy was to buy new hortimix because mine was from last years grow lol [emoji23] Edit: Post #126 Shows her at top health and you were running 0.9ec? Might be too strong. Is anyone else running a Tortoni in dwc? Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  16. That is seriously epic. Also I see you went hard with the number of buckets-do you have any backup power? That is the only reason why I'm thinking of going coco dtw now. Can't wait to see this! Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  17. Cool, I would recommend staying away from dry nutes because of distribution issues when you water. Busy deciding between a coco dtw system and a rdwc system, will most probably go with the coco drip because I don't have backup when eskom eventually decides to loadshed again. 18. I would try to pull some roots out the air stone, if it doesn't come out easily then don't rip it, but i find I can remove 10% root mass in dwc with no issues. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks, yeah beautifully trained plants too! Did you handwater? Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  20. Careful with avocado, mites just love them when they decompose.I use them in my worm bin and they bring in mites, you have to bury it completely- the worms love to multiply inside the avocado. Add some raw oats for protein and you should have an orgy in no time! Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  21. I have been experimenting with all sorts of so called organic products in my salts and coco grows and they do work and don't seemed to be bothered by salt nutes. That is one of my secrets but I guess it's out the bag now [emoji23] On a more serious note, there are dwc systems that have an upper section to hold soil in order to achieve a hybrid synthetic /organic grow. Comparing organic nutes to salt nutes is like comparing eating whole foods compared to a meal replacement. They both do the same thing but one can be taken more frequently to achieve better results(pure mass at flower) . Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  22. Amazing grow! Can you share the pot size and light used? Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  23. Apologies, I spoke too soon, it takes as long as your router takes to startup to resume it schedule, I was just impatient and outraged to think of this lol Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  24. Im so high I thought the same guy was talking to himself in this thread based on those profile pics :D Following! Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  25. I'm in the same boat as you, tired of all the mess with drain to waste coco. I'm going to do 2 stacked 110l tote,(bottom section to catch and send water outside) with another smaller 50l outside the tent, as I only have 100x100 tent. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
