  1. Yeah let's coin ourselves collectors.. sounds better than addicts Just trying to store them proper so that they don't end up ageing and sukkel with germination...
  2. Yeah it probably has to stop sometime.. but not yet..
  3. Wow this is awesome thanx for sharing. Out of curiosity how many active members does the forum have now? And one can see web development has come a long way
  4. Fuck me bro.. you're killing me I have about 20+ different strains still to run and with the crazy fire you have here it might go up to 30.. I think I might have a seed addiction..
  5. Shit this is exceptionally well said man. Couldn't agree more
  6. Hey man. The videos are a PROMinent feature of this grow diary and I love it. Its awesome to see the little ladies grow with timelapse! You are really taking grow diaries to another level! Much respect for all the effort you put in. Good luck!!!!
  7. Oh wow that is really something beautiful well done man
  8. Looking good man! I also have that Magneto LED as a fuck you for Eskom when loadshedding starts. I think it should do enough to keep the plants in Veg.
  9. Haha the suspense is killing me! Will wait to hear what you think once she hits flower. Hoping for some nice expression.
  10. I am very happy to hear that!! Never grew Blunicorn before so it will be nice if the Palomino takes on dominant Blunicorn traits.
  11. Hi folks, Nothing much to report on this side. I did the last defoliation for the vegetative part of the grow and will probably do one last defoliation before the end of week 2 of flower. All the plants are showing the 8 main colas quite nicely except for the stocky Bubblegum who only has 4. It might not look like she was defoliated due to the very tight internodal spacing.. The clones have only been getting water but from the leaf colour it looks like they are ready to join the nute feed with the other ladies. Will probably go for 1 or 2 or even 3 weeks more veg and then the flip. Will try to get the plants to be 50 to 60cm tall. Atleast in flower I don't really care too much for Eskom and their kak tendencies.. GSC Twisted Helix Palomino Tortoni #1 Tortoni #2 Bubblegum Tent view
  12. Very well said man and thanx for the heads up on that book. Will definitely give it a read. Yeah if you roll back time mycelium is the one constant throughout all of the history of our planet. The biggest living organism at this moment on earth is the honey mushroom and its mycelium network. So that just goes to show how proliferated they are. I have had the honour of using teachers, NSS, amazonian, Mexican blues and albino penis envy.. all with their own different journeys.
  13. Have you read/listened to some of Paul Stamets experiences and knowledge? That guy is the godfather of mycology. Really appreciate his knowledge and perspective on the humble old mushroom. Something that I still want to explore is panaeolus cyanescens (blue meanie). It's not part of the psilocybe genus but supposedly 2 to 3 times stronger than cubensis? Nature is awesome
  14. Lead sounds like Fil Bo Riva. Will surely check up on him. Thanx for the share
  15. Nice move man. Bringing some metal vibes to the joint!! So on the same train don't know if you know darkest hour. Used to rock out on their shit decently!
  16. Yo man. For me it is purely from a practical perspective. I like working on my plants during the day. So with veg, lights off between 2am and 8am and with flower down time is between 8pm and 8am.
  17. I like your light cycle. I also do 18/6 with the lights off at 2am and back on at 8am. Good luck with the 2 ladies left at the party
  18. Shit man. You literally had the most perfect environmental conditions for solid and quick germination. Really really impressive man, well done and I hope you wake up to a smiling *insert name here* 3rd Tortoni that germinated.
  19. The 2 Tortoni's I popped in March also took quite a while to split open and show tap root. I think they will be happy in the jiffy pellet and probably show some action in 3 to 5 days. Good luck man
  20. Yes please. The cop has got shit going on. Good luck bro your setup looks proper
  21. Morning folks. I did a defoliation on the ladies this morning to open up all the mains and growth tips. For the last couple of weeks of vegging I want the canopy as open as possible. I have picked up that the Twisted Helix has a tendency to start splitting at the stem where the plant was topped.. Maybe because she grows so vigorous? So I wrapped the topped tips with insolation tape and will keep it close by if the situation becomes worse. Here are the before and after pics.. 22. I am very interested to see how long it takes the Tortoni's to germinate with all the different germination methods being used. The two I currently have running took quite a couple of days to show tap root. But then again I dropped them straight into a peat pellet. Good luck man
