    Prizes

Fuck me these prizes are legit!! big up @420SA
  2. Thanx man. Yeah my problem with the previous mainline was that I started the training too soon and didn't wait for the plants to recover en get strong enough. This time round it seems like the timing was a lot better. So now there is a solid base for the mains to grow from.
  3. Hi folks. So last night was the final topping for the ladies. Every strain except for the Bubblegum got their 3rd topping. On the bubblegum I just tied down the 4 mains in order to open up the canopy. Real stocky little plant hopefully yield will be on par. So now is the final veg stretch for about 2 to 3 weeks then I will flip to flower. Might still need to train and tie down a couple of mains depending on the speed of recovery. But overall the plants are looking super happy and the nute balance seems to be on par. Palomino Twisted Helix GSC Tortoni #1 Tortoni #2 Bubblegum Tent view
  4. Hi folks, So I did some mainline topping and training on Saturday and today. Still one exercise shy for the 8 main colas I desire. The Tortoni #2 grew so strong and vigorous (seems she was just a little shy at first) that she got 1st and 2nd topping all in one. And she has recovered very nicely I have to add. The Bubblegum is one bushy stacked Indica which is making me scratch my head as to whether I should try the full mainline or only stop at the second topping and run a flux mainline.. she will definitely need plenty of defoliation either which way.. Palomino and Twisted Helix also coming along nicely with GSC hot on their heels. A fresh batch of clones also chilling at the moment. Damn with this training there are a shit load of cuttings that you just don't want to chuck.. Also topped up on the soil as my levels were dropping a bit.. 5. Very true man. And especially with all the crazy stuff that happened tonight the crowd was epic. Best fight card for a very long while.
  6. Bro good calls except for that last one.. lol. I think Usman is going to school Masvidal. Trevor Whitman is an amazing coach and he will prep Usman for what street Jesus has to offer. And I think Zhang has some great stand up that can result in another fight of the year nominations as Rose also knows her stand up like a champ. Super cool weekend ahead. I hope you enjoy the fights
  7. Hi folks. So just over a month and a bit into Veg and the ladies are looking stellar. All the clones rooted which I am very happy about! I transplanted a couple today for my clone run with the mothers and the rest given to mates to keep as mothers or to grow and flower them out. Tomorrow will be the second topping for the mainline exercise and Tortoni #2 will get her first topping but I will try and prep her for the second topping in a couple of days. The genetics by @Totemic are really showing their muster and are champs with the high stress training and vigorous root development with the clones. Twisted Helix also seems to be rocking along very nicely with strong growth. GSC Twisted Helix Palomino Tortoni #1 Bubblegum Tortoni #2 Totemic Clones Tent Tent with clones
  8. Hi bro. Thanx for the tips. Yeah my cheap clone dome unfortunately doesn't have vents so I "burp" the dome daily and empty the dome from any run off condensation. My previous clone runs where I didn't do this I also got that funky/vrot situation. I will definitely do the 1cm lift to also help get the RH to that 90 mark. Thanx for sharing
  9. Hi brother. Yeah super excited for the growth of that Twisted Helix. Looks like she is literally gonna raise the roof in the tent
  10. Thanx man. Yeah I popped the clones from the previous run into the veg tent and had some issues with excessive light. So this time round I thought to just give them enough time to settle then on to the tent for further rooting. Hopefully I get rooting from all the cuttings.
  11. Morning folks. So this past weekend was topping and training time for the mainline. This is alway a stressful exercise as you do not know how the ladies will react to the high stress training. But I am very happy to report that all the ladies took to the topping and training like champs. I initially thought that the Tortoni #1 and #2 will be a slow growers... but it looks like they were just slow out of the blocks and now catching up to the big 3 ladies. Tortoni #2 will get her topping soon. The Bubblegum looks like it will be the smallest in the tent. A true representation of a stocky Indica... The Palomino and Twisted Helix really recovered super quick from the topping and will be ready for the next top in a week or two. From the 5 plants I topped and trimmed I was able to get 34 cuttings. And they all seem to be getting on with the rooting stage. I tried something different in terms of lighting for the clone dome and it seems to work. Got LED strips from builders for cheap and just arranged it over the dome.. Palomino Twisted Helix GSC Tortoni #1 Bubblegum Tortoni #2 Tent view Clones Improvised Clone Dome
  12. Good show man! I love that supercropping on the DP lady. Well done

  14. Very excited to follow this grow. Thanx for sharing man
  15. Thanx man. Will be cool to see a shit load of Totemic beans being run in different environments and set ups. Will get some good feedback. I will follow along when you pop those Totemic beans
  16. Thanx for the good advice bro. Space is unfortunately an issue at the moment so I can't really keep cuttings to mother. So the second seed will act more as a back up. Hopefully I get a frosty pheno.. Haven't seen a lot of pics of the Twisted Helix..
  17. @PsyCLown yo man. I bought 2 singles so I have one as back up if it turns out to be something special. Will also give a cutting to a mate. Also excited to see how it turns out
  18. I would love to see the Sugarcane final product. Really something unreal man. And also curious as to the taste of the smoke. Also excited to hear your Exo experience. Any idea yet who the breeder is?
  19. Welcome bud. Hope you enjoy the forum. That set up looks insane and really dialed in and that bud looks ridiculous. Running some nice strains as well. I am very keen to follow along
  20. Thanx bro. Much appreciated. Next run will also feature another local breeder, Motherland Genetics. I really get all giddy and excited for local breeders working on some nice gear.
  21. Morning good sir. All of those ladies were feminised seeds. I still have your GTH × OKC regulars for a run in the future. Need to stock up on enough flower first
  22. Morning folks. So I finished up with my second indoor grow and was quite happy with the results. So now it's time for my 3rd grow running some local genetics along with some international and established strains.. it's @Totemic time I learnt a lot from my last grow and have switched up a couple of things.. Soil - moved from Royal Gorilla to Freedom Farms classic (Very happy with this decision.. FF is a super stable soil with a very nice inherent nutrient balance) Seedlings - germinated in peat pellets as normal but for the seedling stage had them in 10cm pots for rooting with a subsequent transplant to the 20l fabric pots Nutes - I still have Seagro but decided for this grow I will only be running the BioBizz line (with some calmag throughout and molasses for flower) Lighting - for the seedling stage I only had my HLG 100 on and only flipped on the additional 300w grow bar rig 4 weeks into the veg stage. Genetics - so as stated I wanted to give some local heroes a go and half of the tent will be local. Seeds originally planned for the run: Totemic - Palomino (germinated within 3 days and growth is ridiculous - will most propably be the star of the tent) Totemic - Tortoni #1 (I initially thought this seed didn't germinate as it took quite a while for tap to show - 6 to 7 days) Totemic - Tortoni #2 (because I thought I lost the 1st Tortoni ) Inhouse Genetics - Twisted Helix Garden of Green - Girl Scout Cookies TH Seeds - Bubblegum G13 Labs - Raw Diesel (dud seed did not germinate... ) Ripper - Brain Cake (whack mutant plant. Not sure if it's the seed or initial rooting problems but it will be chucked..) Initial growth points towards 3 stand out ladies - Palomino, GSC and Twisted Helix.. the other 3 are stacking very tightly and will probably be bushy little ladies.. Germination was done on the 2nd of March and first topping and training for mainline will commence shortly. I still haven't introduced nutes yet as the leaf colour still looks spot on.. damn good soil that is!! 23. Hi folks. So 6 months later, from seed to smoke, I have been able to enjoy all the strains and the tastes and smells they offer. So this is the last entry to close of the diary. Purple Queen: Kush hybrid so the smoke leaned towards a lemon/pine mixture and surprisingly actually worked very well as a day time smoke. Chocolate Haze: Very nice fruit flavours and smells with limited chocolate undertones. Very nice head high leaving you nice and energetic. A mate of mine noted her smell as beef stock Crescendo RBXV2: A very unique spicy smelling plant with a linger of mango on the smell. Taste was pronounced with a very nice orange marmalade on the exhale Wedding Gelato: This one hits you to the fences.. buds looked amazing and the smoke reciprocated with nice pepper and spearmint profiles. Old School: It was obvious that this was an Exo Cheese cross with both the smell and taste of the exo shining through. Glookies: This is the plant with the most pronounced smell and flavour profile. An exceptionally heavy citrus smell and taste leaning towards grapefruit and lime. During flower her smell was so pronounced it bordered on rancid. Also very energetic high. Uppercut: This was the most beautiful plant in the collection and most probably my favourite smoke. Her exhale smoke smells as loud as a Holland coffee shop next to a chemical factory she has a super soft on the palate taste leaning towards grape sherbet fuel mixture. Once she is smoked in a room you do not want to leave the room as the smell is so entrancing... Next grow is already up and running so keep an eye out for my next grow diary which will aptly be named Palomino and Friends. Giving some Totemic fire a run.. here is a sneak peak.. Happy growing folks and thanx for reading my grow diary.. hope it was as fun to read as it was to grow.. Peace
  24. @Fridge damn bro that turned out to be one decent sidewalk smoke man looking smashing and big ass buds Your entry was truly epic and original and you deserved to win. Thanx for the harvest pic update. I hope a smoke report will follow.
