All I can say, this is community. Well done @The_StonedTrooper for initiating something like this. Loved reading the comments and nominations and congrats to the receiver. Happy growing y'all. -
Hey @ultrasonic I would love some of your indian seeds. Also based in EC and willing to grow some exotics.

Surprised there are no posts about chillies on here. is it not a stoner favourite? Had a joint, a brain fart and decided to head into a chillie business head first today ( maybe ass first ). We just planted in our newly erected tunnel last week, water pipes in today and cabbages planted. Sad to say this is not a pappagaaislaai tunnel but a legit food garden. We planning on growing cabbages, cucumbers, tomatoes for our local markets. Just sorted out my chilli seed collection and excited to start growing them for a number of reasons, mainly for food, but waste goes to our pigs and donkeys. Watch this space, I will update as I go along, season starts soon.

Packaged my first set of edibles, what do you guys think?
Chris Jay replied to jordz2203's topic in General Discussion
Looks professional @jordz2203and a very cool logo. Had some home made gummies last week, and had a great night rest. They were made in the backyard by a mate, came in a brown paper bag, tasted delicious, even better after being in the fridge. How long do gummies last in your experience? I met a guy day before yesterday who makes custom silicone moulds if you are interested. -
This podcast starts in less than 30 minutes if anyone is keen to join in. Here is a link to their crowdcast event. Always interesting, lots of awesome guests. Check it out. Canna Cribs

Was just recommended this brand of watering control system, Rain Bird ESP-RZXe, have any of you guys ever used this brand/system before? Made in USA, has a lot of simple features and can automate the watering process easily. This could save alot of time, and is affordable.

Pine Tar Kush from Tom Hill was one of the interesting strains I grew out. Ducksfoot as above is also very interesting. This was my bonsai, Mabombe ( Malawi White Russian / Sweet Tooth 3 / Grapefruit / Congo Nepalese ) from Afropips. This bonsai shared a joint over the coffee table with Mr Howard Marks when he was in South Africa.

Where did you source yours from in those days? You could only really get it in small quantities in Spar/PnP etc and fairly expensive. Its the reason I started buying/selling epsoms to some garden shops in JHB and used to supply Windell/Hortishop epsoms when they first opened up in Randburg. Managed to convince them to put it in their promix soil too. It is amazing stuff that I use for many applications today.

Integrity, but exciting times ahead with the growing cannabis market.

An awesome day had by all. Stoners and growers shared, smoked and enjoyed a 420 afternoon. About 30/40 people attended, we had Nic, a soil expert really going into some great detail about good soil mixes, microbes and growing better weed. It ran so late, I was lucky enough not to speak. So we started off with a relaxed braai, the secrets of soil was amazing and went on for about 2 hours keeping the people glued, 4:20pm I handed out as many kingsize joints as I had ( about 20/30 ) and we all sparked up under the trees. Sadly a beautiful soul was taken that night, the winner of our 420 giveaway died in a tragic car accident on her way back home from Port Alfred later in the evening. Please be careful on the roads guys, there is alot of chaos happening. Witnessed another death last week just outside my place, and a guy driving our tunnel back from East London had an accident on Monday. Too many impatient stressed drivers and also people under the influence. Stay safe.

About 48 hours away from making the material needed to make a brick or 10, and damn now got involved in building an entire pump house. FML, but viva cannabis. Remember hemp? Dagga’s non-narcotic cousin, the wonder plant that was going to alleviate rural poverty, stimulate small enterprises, provide jobs, houses, textiles, paper, food and possibly even save us from global warming and the oil crisis? Well, that’s what we were told when the government launched the National Hemp Initiative back in 1998. So where are all the fields of waving weed? Source How sad is the ANC, been researching hemp for the last 30 years, involved in law suits for stealing hemp genetics from Europe and still nothing to show. What asses. The picture below was from our first hemp trial in SA, planted around 2006, stolen, including the fencing. Since then, nothing much at all, except rotting hemp in warehouses and expensive processing machinery getting rusting. #anclegacy

Awesome video just been published by the Canna Club, education, acknowledgement and good times. Check the birds eye view of this farm. Quiet something. No dates for the Canna Cup are official, but looks like the last 3 days of July are the days to be in Plett at the Canna Club.
