  1. So guys, I've trimmed up all my buds, and have them in jars right now... I'll weigh them in after about 2 or 3 days in their jars with the 58% Boveda packs. If I had to guess, I'd say its around 150g... Pretty low yield but I know what I did wrong this time. By the end of trimming, I smoked a joint with a decent hash noodle, lost a small ball of scissor hash, and recovered an even bigger ball of scissor hash when I finally finished up all the buds. Got a decent amount of some frosty trim as well. Here's a few shots, Enjoy

  4. Hospital, surgery.. back home. Sitting.. still not the best thing to do hehehe but I limped to my plants.. friend took good care of them. I have photos and video still on the cams.. I finish the diary as soon as I can sit more comfy and can work. Last 5 plants went dark end week 12.. as expected. Still.. they took a bit long. Smell is very intense and is a bit like nasty sweat smell. I try to achieve 14 days dry time... friend told me to try it. Moisture right now.. is a bit like 2 weeks curing on a stick 61% humidity, so why not try a 14 day slow dry. He gave me some WW he slow dried.. very very sexy smoke, i give him that.

  7. Hey man. The 3x 50w lights are doing great so far. I'm so far vegging a washing machine clone which is doing very well. I think the strain helps too because it's growing super fast. I rooted it and transplanted it into soil on the 28th of July. The other photos were taken last night the 11th of August. I'm also busy vegging 4x Northern lights and 1x Jock Horror.

  8. If below the plants canopy, or more past the plants green zone, then it wouldn't matter at all, bigger the better, obviously within reason and without light leaks, possibly as suggested you close it with a netting for hairs and fluff and dust. Added, one 200mm or bigger each side, opposed at that. Will be best.

  10. @afternoon blazer Hi bud, Yeah, this 50w is blowing my mind. These ladies are all in 10L pots and I'm fast approaching them becoming rootbound. They have already filled up the grow space aswell, but as planned I will have them moving into the bigger space for flower and they'll be getting 20L pots by then.

  11. Greetings all. well not much to complain about, no major problems either. This is Choc Kush and looking the best in the tent. Going to be some nice colas from tbis lady as all the branches are loaded with bud sites. Then we have Sherb breath, this plant smells like mixed candy bowl/ packet skittles. She was a lil stretchy but not to much at all, also building lovely bud sites. Then there is this lady,Jacob's Ladder wow she is eager with the resin production and pushing some citrus smells. took clones and all have roots, running out of veg space fast but there is always a way. Already setup for a lekker outdoor season with soil cooking and clones ready to go outside. Some leka forest leaves and wood to boost the microbes, enjoying AACT when turning.

  12. Thanks bro! I've enjoyed this method, but i'm going to opt for a easier and less time consuming way next time round. Will see how it pans out.

  13. Guys if you're considering using the site, please think about using my affiliate link and setting up your own as well. You don't have to worry about it after setting it up and you can post it where ever. They're sending me a promo pack because I emailed and asked nicely, lol... I'm trying to earn some extra credits, you can as well, then get seeds at nice discounts. Here's the link to create a profile. ***Link Removed*** I'm hoping to develop a relationship with them to host some seed giveaways on my Instagram... Might end up having them link to join 420sa and host the giveaway here, who knows. It will be limited to people in SA. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  18. The idea to have more exhaust is better, but with the problem @zolrooker is having with regards to high temps, it would be better to intake from below the trees and exhaust out the top, I feel it's more efficient at keeping the air around the trees a bit cooler than the air at the top of the grow space, waiting to be extracted. (I tested this with my tent by placing thermometers in the grow space at plant level, almost all the way up, and in the exhaust line)

  24. Okay cool [emoji1362] let us know if the temps get any better. I found that having a stronger exhaust will help a lot with lowering overall temperature because you're able to vent the space more often, giving the hot air less time to accumulate, since hot air rises and the exhaust generally sits above your light. I don't run intake fans. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  25. On the right track here bro. And yeah,@zolrooker , my small HID lights would literally burn your fingers if you held it for more than a few seconds, but because my fans pulled air over the light and then exhausted it, the temps inside the enclosure never went above 26-27C. I'm pretty sure I could pull off a full grow in it, will do so in a few months... But yeah, circulation is very important... Also, if you could find any fan (even a pc one) and hook it up so that it cools your light, it will make a noticeable difference... You could even run 1 of the fans you have for circulation and the other just to cool your light. Since your humidity is low anyway, and evaporative cooler might fix your issue, but once spring sets in the humidity will go up - and you're most likely going to be flowering not long after that - so I would find a way to drop the temps now first, and use the cooler only in veg due to the extra moisture it would add. Cooling down your light and circulation will go a long way, and so will a bigger exhaust, as A.B mentioned in the comment I'm quoting. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  26. I did add a second fan yesterday for circulation and positioned it in the area between the light and the plants. I also just went to get a small evaporative cooler (I just couldnt sit still lol) . Will hook it up and check if it cools the area without sending the humidity out of control. Might kill 2 birds with one stone since my humidity seems low anyways...

  27. I rekon just get another fan to move more air around inside and get another or bigger exhaust fan. As long as there is good movement of air u will be fine. @TheUltimateNoob will tell u how hot his HID lights were in a very small space. But coz he had big fans moving air for that space. The plants were fine.

  31. So I moved the seedling under the 400w MH at day 7 (about 30-40cm from light) and seem happy , the Swazi gold already showing good growth after it was topped The fruit spirit clone I have is really bushing out and showing proper leaves and I’m wanting to take clones off of her and grow those . Just need to go get some rooting powder and make up a humidity dome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I actually managed to find a grow tent on FB marketplace for 500 bucks, so I'll pick that up sometime this week. Someone convinced me to get another medium instead, was thinking those freedom farms ones? I'm ordering some goodies from hydroponic.co.za today anyway

  37. Got my first seeds from marijuanaseedssa.co.za during lockdown lvl 4/5 if I remember correctly. Was responsive and friendly and always replied to emails. Just harvested the first and second is around the corner. Got a picknmix of 4 different seeds so no freebies, but all the beans popped so can vouch for Nirvana quality.

  39. You can do it behind the reflective film and up off the floor a bit, then your air is clean, and then has to drop down and then into the space, and if they at the side or back, with the film hanging over it, you should be great to go.

  42. Niiice! Hows she performing? Any pics of her running? 12000Lumens will surely outperform 3200Lumens. Actively Aerated Compost Tea. There's a couple threads on here that goes into depth, but basically you pump air into water with your organic nutes and other microbial rich ingredients in it. There's a couple of ways of doing it. The reason to do it is to provide the microbes with some more oxygen so they can thrive better, it also supplies the roots with oxygen along with the microbe enriched tea. I grow in FF premium classic with the aim to keep things as organic as possible. Still use some synthetic nutes here and there, but never enough to piss the microbes off. I plan on getting the full range of Greenhouse Power Feedings Organic range, super fucking expensive, but will never have to use any synthetic nutes again.

  43. Correct, everything must be more, temp, light, co2. All inputs must go together to achieve the desired results.

  44. I did research on ways to combat heat as I was worried about running my HPS during peak of summer , but what I found is that plants like warm temperatures of 30-35 degrees if you are supplementing high levels of CO2 ,so if you build a big version of those diy CO2 generators (talking like 2 5l bucket of fermenting yeast and sugar to release CO2) I’ve seen people claiming to have really high ppms of CO2 this way. Kinda out of my depth but thought could be really useful [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  45. Brother, this is cool... I've heard, the Bone meal is like fast food for Microbes, and that they love it, but as with fast food, its unhealthy and causes them to get lazy and couch potatoes, haha, if I understand it correctly. When you mentioned SST, is that what I think you mean, the tea? Added, how is that EM pro soil, much better than Biodyne, I saw someone mentioned it was bits floating in water, could have been you. Also the mycorrhizae fungi was just rocks and dead root

  48. I added 40 liters of old donkey manure and about 5 liters of bran. Crushed most of the manure and tilled it all in again. The manure will help to add more carbon to the soil, some Nitrogen as well as loosening the mix. As it breaks down it will benefit both the bacteria and fungi in the soil. There are many benefits adding some good quality manure to soils, however this is best done a month or two beforehand.

  49. Absolutely, and was actually thinking how my mother used to ask me, "is this Dagga?" And now since it cured her husband's cancer, she calls is, "marijuana" or "cannabis" It actually boils down to one simple and very small thing, educating people. Like on the Hot Box show the other night, we should not get arrested or go to jail for it, and the cops must start getting fines or charged if they harrassed you and arrested you for no reason, it's long time been thrown out of courts. Enough is enough now
