Whadup ya’ll

super stoked, my skunk seeds have started popping so far 5 of the 10, but the others are coming up, just slow. These are mixed Skunk seeds, so I'm eager to see what surprises they have in-store for me.

They will all go into a coco/perlite/soil mix

will give them till next week before planting?

any pointers before i plant?

Awe bru. I am planning on planting them over the weekend. Need to go get some supplies from Hydroponics. All outa coco peat and perlite. Also gonna line the walls with white plastic sheeting & My new light should also arrive around Friday. So got a busy weekend.

Heya @Oolong83, looking good. My only advice is to plant them as soon as roots start showing because ideally I cut off the jiffy bag. The roots will grow through it, but seems to constrict the main root ball's size if left intact.

Thanx for that, was wondering if i should cut the jiffy bag off.

If you are on a budget, consider a flat white paint as an alternative. May be cheaper.

Oi vey! Yea then maybe stick with the plastic idea... Anything would be better than your concrete 😋

But some solid advice from @PsyCLown , @Trailblazer420 -

Go for a flat white or Matt white, doesn't even have to be white... I saw a saying, "as long as it's Matt light" a light colour.

A non shiny surface is best, unless you have some mylar laying around haha

I can't remember exactly where I found these numbers, somewhere online... But these are the notes I have for how reflective the various options are

   foylon: 95%
   mylar: 92-97%
   flat white paint: 75-85%
   semi/gloss paint: 55-60%
   white plastic (panda): 75-90%
   aluminium foil: 55%

Flat white seems like the best option value for money and simplicity wise. Like @Oolong83 though, I was not able to paint my grow area so then panda film seems like the best alternative, the others are way more expensive

Just an update on the Lem Skunk seedlings.

Went through a bit of a stall in their growth due to calcium def, but it seems to have picked up over the last 2 days.

I managed to line the walls with white plastic sheeting, only R23/m(1.5x1.0)

also got new lights, it all definitely made a moerse difference.

The last pic is just to give you guys an idea on my vegging setup, for now😉

Hi guys

so its been a while since last post, so i will let the pics speak for themselves. These pics were taken in week 4.

The yellowing tips on the leaves was a lot worse, but has improved. Which made me to believe it was iron deficiency. The all doing good now. This is only the first 5 in the sequence, goes to no. 15

problem: They all bagseeds, not sexed yet, so i could end up with 15 male plants. That would suck.

i use COCO/Perlite/Soil mix

EHG nutes, usually put less than specified amount. Currently 10ml Micro/20ml Grow/0ml bloom

EC usually between 0.7-0.9

Ph 6.2.

I agree, think it is nute burn though, i added some Calmag and Multifeed to plants a few days ago on a water day.

so it was feeding, skip, water, skip, feeding

Usually its feeding, skip, water, skip, water, skip, feeding.

The other plants seem to be fine, not showing any signs yet.

wrong thread, lmao

These plants are good now, trimmed and defoliated them all. they putting some body on.

Will flip them all in about 3-4weeks.

The issue i got is on the Light burn? thread in sickbay. Also burnt, curling inward tips on new growth.

Please check and give some feedback, you guys are helping me with this grow more than you can imagine.
