  1. Looking good @DamDave

    About the lights issue.

@SkunkPharm made a good suggestion. Those flood lights dont get that hot.

I know definitly a few people on here use the ACDC version. Especially for veg.

    150w led floodlight. Cool white.

    R375 with2 year warrenty.

    I bought it.

Run it in a similar size box as yours.

Temps are about 20 degrees inside at night.  With the heatsink sticking out the box.

I did so e cheap ass light test on the light. And i was extremely impressed.

If u want complete validation of the light. @CreX knows hands down. how good it is.

Also from all the info i have been through.

Light is priority 1. Then Genetics.

    Just wana help bro.

    Morning 420 fam

    Got something different for you guys today. First though, I have to get this out of the way;

*In no way am I endorsed or sponsored by this site, I just think that their system is quite awesome - this is not an advert*

How would you feel if I told you that you could earn GroBucks every time you bought seeds? What is GroBucks you ask? Well, its redeemable points and each point is worth R1! These points can be redeemed for on-site vouchers, from as little as 10 points, and used towards your next order - yes you can save them up for some sick discounts. With the way it's setup and from what I've seen recently, an order of R1249,98 will earn you 55 GroBucks on this site, which is essentially R55.

You don't have to spend that much though, single seeds can be found for R124,99 and packs of 5 are R549,99 - that's a flat rate by the way. The site has a good range of strains and is the official distributor of genetics from Nirvana Seeds Amsterdam. Since they're all Nirvana strains, there's no need to break the bank and you can have your pick at what strain you want without worrying if it costs extra. They also have a Pick'N'Mix page on which you can create you own "pack" of seeds (works out a tad bit more expensive) as well as some sick specials on bulk seeds right now ( about R3900 for 50 seeds!).

Their shipping is discreet, fast, and at a flat rate as well (R150 to anywhere in SA in 1-3 days - 1 day extra if in a rural area).

The site is none other than Marijuana Seeds SA

All you have to do is sign up with a valid email address using this link; http://www.marijuanaseeds.co.za/index.php?rfc=hv4u4xpz-5

or use this referral code when signing up from their direct link; hv4u4xpz

*The reason for this is that only registered members qualify for GroBucks*

Upon completion of registration, you will earn 10 GroBucks which are redeemable immediately, just like that.

I'll be completely honest with you guys, if you use the code or link I've provided, I'll earn 5 GroBucks for you signing up and then 2% of any future orders you place. So if you guys get your mates to buy seeds from this site as well, you'll be on your way to getting some really good genetics at a really cheap price.

edit: I forgot to mention that they're shipping out 1 free Lithium OG Kush feminized seed with every pack ordered right now, excl. Pick'N'Mix, so hurry up to get even more value for money.

    Let's get this done people!

    Have a good one, Peace.

I'll be completely honest with you guys,

    Howzit bro.

    Thanks for the info.

Also. I was on sacred seeds yestersay. They have a similar point system happening. Just for info.

I've had mates tell me it hits and tastes close like a dab, minus the heat. I've only dabbed a couple times so I never made the connection. I barely ever smoke combustibles now and I gotta say my lungs feel great. What I could get in a joint will get me high 10 times more in Da Buddha cause you don't really need to pack it too much to get the same result. 90% of the vapor is sweet marijuana, in comparison to a joint where only 10% is the good stuff, the rest is just smoke. One of the best investments apart from actually growing my own that I've made.

@Ill_Evan whats this buddha u speak of now?? 🤔

@afternoon blazer  took the words out of my mouth bud, patience is another story lol, but when something does happen or a milestone is reached, its the most rewarding feeling.

Ya don't stress about it champ, try forget about them for a week. I used to germinate before, but decided to gooi straight into light soil mix and they poped in about 8 days so works out about the same if you germinate, I just don't want to risk contaminating the tap root when transporting.

    Shot bro.

Next seed would be the kelp and stuff and straight into the seed starter.

Hoping i dont need that last auto for a while though.

Thanks guys, I see they have quite a variety of seeds.

@afternoon blazerblazerthey are definitely selling their seeds cheaper than others.

@PsyCLownI guess I'll have to look for similar seeds. I am just one of those guys who wants to get what I have in mind ☺. Oh well, hunting for seeds is one of my favourite activities during winter.

They have a gelato auto and photo strain bro.

I did get 1 of each.

Coz mr  @Prom sold me on it. Haha

@afternoon blazer  You having issues with germination? Need Gibberilins, I soak my seeds in Humic, fulvic and kelp powder get good results. Get kelp powder from dischem bud, finest brown kelp powder I can find. use a 1/16 of a teaspoon virtually nothing. But also this cold bud. light is not very important for germination.

Well it suposed to be easy.

Its autos aswell and the other guys just germ with normal shot glass and paper towel or soak and staright in seed cube thingyz.

The 1st seed did take a while to crack open.

Its potted for about 4 days now. Just gona wait on that 1.

2nd seed is in the paper towel atm. For some reason i feel abit more confident about this 1.  Gona wait abit fir that tap root and the pot.

I have been potting in root plugs. (From the uk apparently quite good) and putting that into final pot.

If i dont come right with the 1st or 2nd seed. I have 1 more auto to try. I probably might use ur reccomendation with that 1.

When germing in a plastic bag. I keep the temp around 26-29 ( place it on my modem) as per @Bakstein420 reccomendation.

And in the grow box. I raised the pots close to the light and put a dome on to increase the temp. Outside the dome its about 22 degrees. So inside should be abit warmer.

Trying to be patient with the seeds.

Spent alot of time. Effort and cash to get to this stage. So just gona be patient and keep at it.

Something has to work eventually. ( only issue is that im gona run out of auto soon. Which i really wana try growing)

Patience is key in this game i guess.

    Hi bro,

I am based in the Western Cape and look for a few auto Strains from Fastbud seeds (gorilla glue, gelato,...) as these have been recommended to me.

I saw they offer these beans on their website. But what a bummer... the moment I want to add them to the cart it shows they aren't in stock. Don't understand why seeds are visible on the page when they are actually not in stock.

    So the search continues.

    @Fridgedoor

    ok cool man.

I purchased seeds from biltong and budz as @PsyCLown suggested.

@CreX was the 1 who introduced me to them.

I've taken it upon myself to do a bit of a review on the LED grow light I've been using.

Morning fellow ganja soldiers... I see many guys are looking for opinions on LED lights as like myself. It seems it will be the natural progression, so its quite important to have a vast understanding of all  the products out there, locally and internationally. There are many ways of measuring how effective your potential LED grow light will be and this will all get taken into account before you go and spend your hard earned money on something that I would definitely say is not affordable.

I have been using the Liontree Supernova 320 for 10 days now, and it completely blows my 600w MH out the water for veg, however, I'm still yet to experience the full power of this LED as I've been running it on 25%, but now for the exciting part... the bloom stage has just commenced so the ultimate test for these light is here. I will update this thread with the results as we go along.

These LED's are affordable, utilize Bridgelux 5050 diodes, Magnifying lenses covering with far red, 100% waterproof! guy said I can hose it down if I like lol thanks, but no thanks... and driver? well the guy says you can choose which one you prefer🤣 very smart . This unique design also allows for expanded footprint which is always good.

Liontree, based in KZN... are positioned quite well in the market in my opinion, and are a great example of a proudly SA business.

Maybe this might be helpful to some. there website www.liontree.co.za

    Morning bro.

    Light looks good.

Im baked. So theres some questions for u.

What driver you running with that?

    What footprint can u cover?

What light colour is it? 3000k . 3500k.

U did say 320. Im asuming that is total watt draw.

Did u get any par specs?

    Is it dimmable?

    What was delivery time?

What did it set u back?
