  1. Day 18. Other than the one seed that didn't make it the remaining two seem to be doing their job. Minimal water as and when needed then roughly 10 hours outdoors and 8 hours under the lights. I've planted another seed, #4. This time no kitchen paper etc. Into water last Friday, into soil the Sunday and broke soil Tuesday. 10 days old now. I'm not adding nutrients at the moment, still not sure if I will. Off topic. Think I'm in trouble with the missus. She got home yesterday and I'd comandered and partitioned a 2m x 2m section of the garage. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  2. These are mine at 18 days since breaking surface. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  3. Whaat? How old is the plant now bud? Pity about the male. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  4. Sorry about the language I'm gonna be using bud's but here we are. Bee's are in danger of becoming a thing of the past. Fucking us, humans are the problem. Farming practices, hell we need it if we gonna keep feeding the masses but unfortunately to the harm it causes to the little things like bees, ladybugs, migrating bird's, parts of the UK otter's for fucks sake. Who would have thought. OK enough of the fowl, excuse the pun, language. That's a whole new thread. I rent on a veld and fynbos propagation farm and I notice how keeping growing whatever plant, as long as it is in harmony with nature, it attracts it's natural wildlife. We have little buck chowing on our lettuce, the falcon picking out the fattest gerbal, the owl hooting all night as it keeps the veld mice at bay, a bee colony and the occasional ladybug and other weird bugs. If you have space to move your plants outside when and if you can you should research plant friendly bugs. You would be surprised. As with our nursery, I'm trying to keep my grow as natural as possible, growing outdoors in the ground surrounded by useful herbs, veg and sacrificial plants. Indoors I'm on the search for the mother soil that needs no food. Saying that, indoors get moved outside as often as possible. Sorry for the rant, Keep it natural is what I'm trying. 5. Hey buds, all well I hope. I'm busy with my first auto grow and have been doing a lot of reading up on them. Seems auto's have a bit of a bad rap and not experienced grower's first choice. What is the reasoning. Is it the lazy grower's choice, because they don't produce a good yield. Trying to learn a bit more about strain's and the plant in general. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  6. And nutrients as I take it the plant is grown in coco. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  7. Hey there@CoolJ. Doff question. Solo cup challenge is growing in a cup from seed to flower. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  8. The Jack Berry with the 3 branches turned out the same as the plant I got the seed from. 7 instead of the 5 leaf set up and bushy as hell at 3 weeks. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  9. I'm busy making something similar to replace the CFLs in my veg cabinet. 10 x 20w. If anything surely it still beats 200w of CFL. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  11. Kak news bud. Would it not be possible to dip into rooting compound and sort of do an early cloning in a case like this. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  12. Growing in soil. Just cannabis soil mixed 50/50 with specially made propagation soil for fynbos. Coir, perlite and vermiculite added. For potted plants. Then plants planted into the ground outdoors with home made compost using horse and rabbit hay and shit, kitchen compostables, ash and fynbos cuttings worked into the soil. Was thinking of slow release fertilizer but na. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  13. Hey buds. Hope you all having a spliffing good Sunday. I was wondering if there is a decent enough feed out there available at a nursery or garden section at larger store's. Courier companies seem incapable of finding us out here on the reservation so online ordering is a bit of a problem. Product plus courier fees, I'm a bit of a tight c1nt when it comes to parting with hard earned minimal cash. Biobizz and the likes keep popping up on all the threads so I'm wondering: Is there like a rose feed that works, seagrow, tomato feed, etc. Is there one size fits all or is it recommended one feed for veg and another for flower. Help a peep out here buds. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  14. Day 10. #1 and #3 looking good although I was a bit heavy handed with the watering today. Not really seeing a difference between the two yet other than the colouring. Plant under the QB75 lighter than the one under the blurple. 10 hours outdoors and 8 hours under the lights at the moment. Not sure if and what to feed when the time comes. 15. Day 8. RIP #2. Looking back #2 was the smaller of the 3. Did a bit of surgery to remove the membrane but I think the blighter was already at the point of no return. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  16. What size lights you got going there out of interest bud? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  17. All done. Came across this a week back. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah, now that you mention it. Seed is from my last outdoor. That plants roots pushed it's way through the pot about 500mm into the ground and 7 instead of the usual 5 leaf and was bushy as hell. The indoor grow i didn't notice anything as I was topping, fimming you name it. Newbie first indoor before I found the forum. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  19. Day 4. Seed #2 has finally popped it's head above ground, it is looking pretty weird though. Almost like there's a membrane of sorts. #1 and #3 are chomping at the bits. I am giving very small amounts of water using a kitchen spray bottle on direct spray setting. Hoping for females now and thinking if I should do some sort of training when the time is right. So, to train or not to train bud's? If I should train what would be a good method for a novice? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  20. Was thinking along the lines of 3 for the price of 2 special. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks, not a bad mutation I hope. What sort of simple training would you recommend? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  22. Hey there bud's. Anyone come across this before. I have 3 branches instead of the usual 2 at the nodes of my Jack Berry. If you look at the base there are 3 leaves as well. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  23. I'm just putting it down to a 100w. The plants will be moved outside most of the time. Gives me time to save for the next QB75 one buck at a time.[emoji36] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  24. Day 2. Opened the cabinet round 6am and #1 was trying to push it's way out. Checked again at 5pm and #1 and #3 have sprouted. To be honest, I was expecting #3 to be a problem as when it germinated it looked a bit funny. Seed cracked open completely and the tail was very small. Haven't given any more water since I put the seeds in soil and put domes over them. Here's hoping for females next. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  25. That's what I've been thinking. I'm always gonna have the space and patience to try. But if you look at some of the comments is it worth trying with half decent seeds. And a big sorry to the hijack of the thread. I'll try to behave [emoji6] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
