  1. Jack Berry doing well I think. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  2. Don't tempt me. Landlady pointed out a rugby sized area with irrigation and said 'feel free to plant as many as you want'. Can't wait to see what the BB3TNR does. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  3. Day 38 and 26 for#4. Still the same routine as far as watering and yard time goes. Water when thirsty and outdoors as often as possible. Back left, middle right and bottom left are #1, #3 and #4. Still no sex showing unless I missed something and 1 and 3 are female. They are on 12/12 now if they want to share the cabinet with my Jack Berry (centre) and Strawberry Cheesecake (back right). I stopped the LST very fast. Let sleeping dogs lie for now, only my 2nd indoor grow and I want to play around with autos!! #4 has been left to do it's own thing and looking good. I planted the last 2 seeds, once again thanks @Bay Seeds. This time: into water for just under 36 hours (I wait until seed drops to bottom of glass), onto soil in 10l pot and covered with mainly coir. 3 and 4 days later broke soil. 5 out of 6 not bad considering I probably FCUK'd up #2 myself using the paper towel method. Non the less, I'm happy. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  4. Hey bud. Agree hundred percent. I did a lot of research and listened to advise from you guys on the forum when deciding which lights to go with. I looked at the diy you suggested way back, had the parts list drawn up and started sourcing parts locally and strips at digikey. Due to logistics and couriers trying to find us on the reservation, hell after a bit of homebrew moonshine I can't find myself on the reservation, I decided on@growopz . Gave him my grow area and he sorted me out within what my budget allowed. All honesty, the extra I payed outwayed the savings of diy then. Still eyeing out the diy or someone prepared to help as I built a bigger cabinet and I need 300w now. And you thought golf was expensive. Enjoy your Sunday bud's. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  5. Have you had a look at what@growopz has to offer. He has some decent lights at an affordable price. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  6. Hey bud. If you haven't got rooting hormone try using the sap from an aloe plant. There you have it, another use for this super plant. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  7. Now that's what I'm talking about. Way too many companies and individuals out there are just about me, me and making maximum cash. Big up to you@Aeradix on showing that spreading the love is still a thing in today's world. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  8. Hey Bud's, hope you all had a good weekend. Bit on the lazy side here but any update on the ACDC 50w plus spot lights. Anyone have current prices as I'm looking at setting up a dedicated area in the garage for veg. Area will be open as such but mouse proofed ish'ish, no poison. Resident owls have preference on the reservation. Saying that, so does the mole tearing up my small lawn patch. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah bud. Did a bit of LST'ng myself by mistake and decided to stop as well. Plants going crazy my side. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  10. Day 30. Plants have spent most of the week indoors due to some weird ass weather on the reservation. The QB75 and the Blurple seem to be on par as I'm not seeing any difference between the two plants. Still putting this down to them spending most of the day outside when possible. Did some LST to #1 and #3 by mistake, don't ask. I think they looking good so I'm gonna leave sleeping dogs and not fuck around anymore. #4 is at 18 days. Same grow. In soil, water when needed, outdoors as much as possible and indoors under lights the rest of the time. This one I'm gonna let grow naturally, well, you know what I mean. That little cutting sharing the pot with #4 is from the Jack Berry (last pic) by the way. Quick question or two: I have not seen any signs of the plant being male which is good but at what age should an auto start showing sex? And if I put an auto into 12/12 will the plant automatically go into flower or stick to it's auto clock, if you know what I mean. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  11. Try cinnamon powder for the gnats. I have cinnamon mixed in my soil and no gnats. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  12. Awesome light [emoji1690]. Saving up for my second one. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  13. Ended up bending the plant and was gonna train it to circle the inside of the pot. Cancel that idea. First time at attempting training and the speed at which growth changes has blown my mind man. My Durban Poison plants outside are cowering behind the pot rims as I'm eyeing them out. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  14. Day 25. Everything still looking good. Plants routine hasn't changed. Outside on average 10 hours a day then in the cabinet for 8 hours. Watering when needed, on average every 3 to 4 days. I tried my hand at LST'ing my Jack Berry and some other plants and when I looked back I had trained the 2 Glamberry as well. Holding thumbs. Must say that you can see a big difference in the growth in 24 hours. Looks a bit rough. Gotta start somewhere hey. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  15. Second indoor grow myself. First was CFL till mid flower then got a QB75 from @growopz, man what a difference. Gonna be updating my other threads, getting excited about this training but gotta stop myself. Watch'in you. [emoji1690] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  16. Hey bud. Awesome watching your grow. I'm a couple of weeks after you so I have to admit, watching your grow like a hawk. I was in the process of LST'ng my Jack Berry, took a break and when I continued I ended up bending the Glamberry 90 degrees. My first time training and wow. What is IPM by the way? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  17. What do I want to achieve? Usually maximum bud [emoji51]. I was thinking about training the main stem in a circle round the inside of the pot rim but not sure if I'm gonna bush the plant out too much. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  18. Will that be trimming some of the big leaves? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  19. So I ventured into the land of LST. Bent the main stem 90 degrees and the plant has gone ballistic. What's the next step or should I not fcuk around? Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  20. Maybe take the entry fee and use that to buy vouchers at various suppliers then hand vouchers out for prizes. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  21. Hey bud, nice shopping list. Companion plants are good but choose wisely. Coriander is a good companion plant to help with the NPK ( can't remember which one now) in soil. Problem is depending on the companion plants root system it may just end up fighting for space with the marijuana plants. So if it is just bugs you worried about plant up in separate pot and place close to your mother herb. I'm busy with a permaculture grow area, gonna take 3-5 years, using sunflowers as a sacrificial plant (attracts bugs and helps condition the soil), dandelions for mole barriers and soil conditioning, various herbs (believe it or not but certain herbs help with bud development) . Then I use cinnamon powder mixed in my soil which helps control pest eggs, gnats, ant nests and the likes. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  22. I asked @Bay Seeds what the cross is called and that's the name. Sounds tasty. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
  23. How old are the girls, gotta be optimistic, now bud. Mine are at the 20 day mark. Always bad news when one doesn't make it [emoji3525] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk
