  1. @BlakDogg very nice diy bud!!! Looks great!
  2. @Bakstein420 give us an update pic there! Last I saw those plants where banging!!!
  3. @Bakstein420 Hey man! I’ve heard this is some thing. And seeing as no possible things that could go wrong with regard to the darkness that long before harvest, I honestly don’t see why not. But maybe somebody can shed light on the darkness. Definitely going to tapper on the water this time round too
  4. @Prom that's a crazy observation! nice one bro!
  5. All this auto talk and since seeing @Prom grows. I'm definitely going to do a auto run... must just choose a strain. @Fridgedoor bud if you want a bubbleberry glue clone, I would be happy to donate along with your outdoor selection. Don't have any experience with clones outdoors but just an option for you.
  6. @afternoon blazer took the words out of my mouth bud, patience is another story lol, but when something does happen or a milestone is reached, its the most rewarding feeling. Ya don't stress about it champ, try forget about them for a week. I used to germinate before, but decided to gooi straight into light soil mix and they poped in about 8 days so works out about the same if you germinate, I just don't want to risk contaminating the tap root when transporting.
  7. @afternoon blazer You having issues with germination? Need Gibberilins, I soak my seeds in Humic, fulvic and kelp powder get good results. Get kelp powder from dischem bud, finest brown kelp powder I can find. use a 1/16 of a teaspoon virtually nothing. But also this cold bud. light is not very important for germination.
  8. @afternoon blazer Haha No stress bro, Ill just paste the specs below bud. delivery took 3 days, he is on the ball. I would say the footprint would be good for 1,2x1,2 maybe 1,5 x 1,5 but I will understand better after this run. The guy did me a favour because he is a friend, but they retail for 8k. 9. I've taken it upon myself to do a bit of a review on the LED grow light I've been using. Morning fellow ganja soldiers... I see many guys are looking for opinions on LED lights as like myself. It seems it will be the natural progression, so its quite important to have a vast understanding of all the products out there, locally and internationally. There are many ways of measuring how effective your potential LED grow light will be and this will all get taken into account before you go and spend your hard earned money on something that I would definitely say is not affordable. I have been using the Liontree Supernova 320 for 10 days now, and it completely blows my 600w MH out the water for veg, however, I'm still yet to experience the full power of this LED as I've been running it on 25%, but now for the exciting part... the bloom stage has just commenced so the ultimate test for these light is here. I will update this thread with the results as we go along. These LED's are affordable, utilize Bridgelux 5050 diodes, Magnifying lenses covering with far red, 100% waterproof! guy said I can hose it down if I like lol thanks, but no thanks... and driver? well the guy says you can choose which one you prefer very smart . This unique design also allows for expanded footprint which is always good. Liontree, based in KZN... are positioned quite well in the market in my opinion, and are a great example of a proudly SA business. Maybe this might be helpful to some. there website www.liontree.co.za Updates to follow!!!
  10. @Bakstein420 down another rabbit hole I go, lol this is definitely on the list now. What a slick product
  11. Latest update!  (Bubbleberry GLUE)

Flower time is upon me, looking bare... but I think the worst of it is done. Been such a joy getting thus far. Will be sticking to a progressive regiment with regard to feeding organically. But mostly taking it as it comes. @StickyD420 notice anything diff bro 😎 applied some of the notes I got, and now we streamline. Also covering a bit more volume after amending. Keeping an eye out for a good flowering spot. Trying to mitigate loadingshedding troubles. Or possibly thinking a rechargeable LED box light, plugs in the wall and switches on when lights go off? Or maybe small UPS route... but working out costing, and not even sure what it cost. Not to mention this cold, growth could be faster... heaters doing it’s best I guess... but no rush right🙌🏻

But none the less This stanky bunch has made me quite proud ☝🏻😬

    What’s growing on?!

      Hey brother,

Ah man, my heart gets warm and fuzzy when my name is mentioned and its because I helped someone or my advice came in handy.

You can absolutely get a backup light, or even a battery backup, which ever the budget will allow you.

Builders Warehouse has something for you like the picture, or this as pictured at the Chinese shops.

      R200 to R300

Plug into the wall, not your timer, so it comes on when power goes out and not your timer. Not fool proof as you need to switch it on and off manually to backup mode, otherwise it will come on when the wall power goes out too.

UPS is the best, I have opted this route after my light was a mission to always remember to zero the switch out😉

  12. Wow! THANKS!!! Just happy to be along for the journey! ☝ luck good mense☝
  13. @Totemic for my second grow, I got very lucky with the strain. Wild guess. Four of a kind
  14. You gotta wonder if it’s the guano Typical analysis better be on point
  15. After a short call with Hydro Herb Africa, they apologized for the incorrect marketing of the product which they will be changing soon, and will be exchanging my High N guano for High Pk bloom bat guano. Yes the guys said they will be getting stock of it this Friday, he plain out apologized and admitted the product had high levels of Nitrogen. Good man, very excited to add this to the mix.
  16. Seen it before, but never had an opinion on it... Definitely going to put it on the list for future! that's value!
  17. @Totemic Exactly that! The site labelled guano has nitrogen in it and a decent amount which I could live with and substitute rest above like you say. But no where near some of the High N bat guano's around, some at 9-3-1... Hope I didn't get that lol.
  18. Any body used bat guano from Hydro Herb Africa? First off, the makeup of Bat guano across the world can vary greatly when it come to nutritional info. But finding a supplier here in SA is a long shot anyway. There can be huge benefits from using this product correctly from what iv'e read, but that's only when you know which pieces of the puzzle are missing at any given stage of your plants life. Bats that eat fruit produce the high PK most suited for bloom. on the other hand there is bat poop that is evidently very high in Nitrogen. (this could be detrimental) Secondly, after I made sure I read the nutritional info correctly, and spend my R250 for 1kg!!! I go on to correctly read where this description comes from... I'm sure many of you know Alchimia overseas... So obviously a little copy paste never hurt anybody. or did it! Where does this permanent maker labelled bat guano come from? And is it safe to use in an already highly enriched nitrogen environment, Short of going and get a test done which is obviously out of the question, how else could I find out if this Bat guano is the one for me? I did call ... Was referred to a guys who could supposedly help but he stopped me abruptly and said, wait that's too technical...? TECHNICAL? Am I through to Hydro herb Africa? Hello? waiting to hear back, but doubt I will be convinced, might just throw it in the garden ffs.
  19. @StickyD420 thanks bro! yeah she a lot bigger now, on her way to motherhood that was about 4/5 week ago.
  20. @StickyD420 that setup is ridiculous electricity bill made me change This reflector takes up the whole tent. And the LED is pretty big too. Company from Durban put them together, really good oke. Can’t wait to use it! Ya I think half half will be good! How far you got yours from plants, 60cm it’s what I’m understanding.
  21. @StickyD420 ya better, I’ve put a small container on the floor, apple cider, water and dishliq just to see if I find any I saw your LEDs, I get mine on Monday, just over 1000 ppfd at 45cm. Think I’m gna do 50/50. Hps, then put the LEDs in. Or run LEDs straight? What you think?
