  1. Nice recovery bro. I must say though, being completely honest, for a 7/8 week veg I would expect slightly larger trees... Not much, but enough to be noticeable. Have you been feeding the trees at a lower dose of nutrients or not feeding as often? Overall though, all looks good now. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah i get the basics bro, but generally people don't clone off the main, hollow stem... Popular opinion online is that it doesn't root well. I've tried and failed, so I thought it's true. I've taken clones before, but none were symmetrical, maximum age of the tree that donated cuttings was about a month and a half. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  3. I know what you mean... I have a 6k invoice waiting to be paid for some bits from China... Wanna build myself a light that I'd be happy with. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  4. I'd say 320w of QBs spread out nicely is spot on for 1x1m... Comes out just under 30w per sqft... You could go a bit lower IMO. A high amperage (like 14A) 24v power supply, if you can find one, will run all the boards (assuming you wanna get all Growopz boards) connected in parallel to the power supply. With 75w boards, 4 of them will get you to 300w, so my suggestion would be to go with a 48V power supply, and have 2 sets of 2 boards in series, wired in parallel to the PSU. Haven't built my own light before. Just my 2c. *Correct me if I'm wrong people please. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  5. Morning Fam. Just wanted to start a little something to see what you guys are up to with any custom LED lighting units. Be it parts you ordered and pieced together, or parts salvaged from other fixtures and flood lights. So yeah, feel free to showcase whatever you've completed, are working on, or built and is in use. Also add in any supplementary lighting that you may have used even if it isn't LED. Don't feel shy to post your rough DIY work, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, lol! Anyway, it would be nice to see how everyone's making things work with what they have, maybe someone here can improve your setup with nothing extra, just some new ideas! Hope this takes off, Enjoy! Edit: Was supposed to post this under the LED sub-forum. Apologies.
  6. Nice one bro. Liking the constant upgrades. just one thing, looks like she could do with some Epsom salts or CalMag bro. Those yellow lines in between the veins are normally a telltale sign of Mg deficiency. It isn't bad right now, but if untreated and the cause of the issue isn't identified, it could accelerate the symptoms. Edit: Just read the comments above stating the same thing. lol, my bad
  7. Hey man. I've got one of the modugrow lights and am currently running a grow with them. building a custom size box to house the light, and will have a full diary by the end of it. My advice would be to go with 2 units in a 1x1m for some nice flower power. lol
  8. really impressed with the symetrical growth on these clones, its something I've consistently failed at... Think you could help me out
  9. My god... This is gonna be a good one
  10. Here's the feeding chart I used when I was starting off. Served me well up until I started mixing nutes with a tds stick meter. pH between 5.7-6.2
  11. I know what you mean, they actually do include different spectrum leds. I got this cheapie led bulbs from China as well. They have Blue, Red, White, UV and IR diodes as well. Low output, but perfect for hardening off seedlings or clones... Even for vegging a bonsai mother. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  12. I haven't... That seems like a better idea. Thanks bro. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  13. Site doesn't seem to be working for me right now
  14. Hasn't replied yet bro... Any other suggestions? Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  17. Morning Fam Anyone know where I can get Explogrow around here? Not ordered online and delivered... Bloody shipping is madness. Wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the Supplies Central section so if it's in the wrong place please forgib... Lol Anyway, yeah, hope someone can help me out. Stay safe and Happy Growing! 18. No problem.Haha, it's pretty simple. Organic soil just means that it has nutrient amendments produced from natural sources - however does not mean that it contains microbial life. With organic soil you could add organic nutrients (made from natural sources), or nutrients that are salt-based (provided in their chemical salt form). Salt-based nutrients feed your tree directly. Living soil on the other hand has a ton of beneficial microbes that produce nutrients from the stuff in the soil and you would use organic nutrients or additives to feed the microbes in the soil to boost nutrient production for your tree in the medium. You shouldn't use salt-based nutes in living soil because it will eventually stop the symbiotic relationship between your tree and the microbes, eventually leading to the microbe life dying off completely by starvation. *Living soil is usually Organic, but not all Organic soil is living!* Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  19. I think he buys bulk if I remember correctly... Then resells, under his own brand I believe. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  20. No problem bro.The lack of humidity may slow down veg a slight bit (not really noticeable since coast generally is above 40%)... I'd say keep humidity levels below 65% in flower or whenever there's a lot of vegetation in your grow space and have good airflow to minimise risk of powdery mildew, that's about it... People aim for low humidity (below 40% sometimes) at the end of flower to get more trichomes... But I grow some frosty buds with levels sometimes close to 70% (I have no way of controlling it)... I do check my trees almost every day for any mold though. Edit: my guess at a decent humidity range would be 60% in veg and 50% in flower. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  21. Container: I would go with a bucket, because having a fabric pot outside will dry your medium out really quickly due to the increased air permeability of the pot walls. Medium: Craft soil for Cannabis is your best option here... You can go with a base mix with some amendments, then use salt or organic based nutrients. Other option would be living soil (IMO this is better for planting in a pot outdoors). Nutrients: If you really want to, GHE Flora & BioBizz are the most user-friendly I believe. I would go with some Microbe tea in living soil for this kind of run, it would be easier to maintain due and feed. pH testing: Essential if growing in a pot and you aren't going with living soil (Living soil kind of buffers out the pH to where you plant needs it to be, and generally just needs to be watered with some dechlorinated tap water - although you can feed the microbial life to boost their nutrient production). You can dechlorinate water by leaving it in a covered, opened container for 24-48hrs
  22. Sup man.. okay, so 1) I agree with @SkunkPharm , living soil would be the way to go if you're getting back into things. Just feed organics to boost the microbes whenever you need to and it should serve you well. You can mix up your own, it would be a bit cheaper but its more work. 2) General Hydroponics Flora Tripack (as Salt-based) nutes or BioBizz (as Organics) are normally what beginners start with if you really want to buy some stuff - Although you won't need it if you go with living soil. Also salt-based isn't used in living soil (it hurts the microbe life) Disregard what you saw on that youtube video, putting a tree into flower doesn't depend on the colour of the leaves or anything. The only thing that will make a difference is how old the tree is - photoperiod trees generally won't flower even if exposed to 12/12 when they're younger than 4 weeks old. With Autoflowers you would have to keep an eye on your plants to know when to change the nutrient ratios - something that's easier planned with photoperiods. 3) Depends on your space... I grow in a 70cm x 70cm space and have a single tree in a 20L pot - fills out the tent well. If you aren't limited with space, then like SkunkPharm said, a 30L should be fine for a single indoor photoperiod tree to train - The harvest will be worth it, just watch humidity levels in flower.
  23. I learnt most of the new info with my first grow. Once you got the bulk of it down, from there on out you will just be fine tuning your grow.
  24. Awe and Welcome brother. Those are some nice flowers for a first time grower! We'll help you grow that fire pretty soon. Hope you enjoy the stay with us
  25. Sorry to hear that bro, really. Things will get better... Remember, the only way out from the bottom, is up, so better times are ahead! And thank you, I try my best
