  1. haha, no worries man. As long as you get it, that's all that matters.
  2. Thanks bro... And yeah he can, even if he can find a small 24V power adapter like used in for input on DC electronics, that outputs at least 1.5A, you could connect the strips to that. The strips are 15w/m on 24V so that's just under ~0.63A... A 1.5A or 2A, 24V adapter should be able to power the strips up nicely. I'm using this hack to run a pair of 12V HID car headlights off a 12V, 2A power brick... Omg with 2PC fans - in my microgrow. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  3. Good choice... The math is simple to work out if you're gonna be sucking your driver dry for power or not. Always check, so you know if you're So another QB75 in the pipeline then??? Nice one. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  4. 3 months is the norm I guess... Mainlines make really good clones. Damn, sorry brother, hopefully things turn around. Everyone I know took a hit with this lockdown... Thinking of putting some trees outside myself. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  5. Nice one bro! How long she take to get to that stage? Here's a few shots of my indoor mainlined for 8 main colas... There are a few more shots in the Blue Dream grow report that I completed a while back.
  6. The Nebula Haze Mainline is more of a flux method, but results are on par with mainlining. Here's the journal; https://forum.grasscity.com/threads/harvested-nirvana-blue-dream-indoor-grow-nebulas-manifold.1548198/ Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  7. [emoji23] [emoji23] The creativity in that name though... Damn Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  8. There's one that MIGRO on YouTube downloaded, tested and compared to his Apogee Quantum sensor... He also gives some correction factors in the end for different types of led if I remember correctly, as well as for colour temp and he gives a conversion factor to get approx PAR. 9. Also, wire in parallel with the QB if you're gonna do it and take power directly from the power supply, not from the QB terminals. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  10. Sounds okay to me. The power supply is 24V, so it shouldn't blow anything up, but; To my knowledge that's a constant voltage driver, capable of 4.5A, which means 108w. Online states that the driver has an efficiency of 86%, which means you actually get ~92.8w of usable power. I wouldn't run the full 2m of led strips off of it... I'd use 1m Reason being I wouldn't want to squeeze every bit of power available from the power supply - shortens lifespan of the driver components and could possibly increase temps due to the power supply running hot. Running 1m of led strips should bring your total wattage drawn off the power supply to 90w at 24V, within the maximum usable output of your driver, with a little breathing room for the driver itself. 11. Its usually just over a week between toppings. Depends on how fast the strain grows and handles stress. Topping 3 times with regular mainlining should set you back about 2 weeks... Nebula Haze's method will set you back a week. Not sure if I've mentioned my journal on Grasscity to you with the mainline... I ran the Nebula method, plan to do it again this run with my latest Inzane tree... Still in week 1 of veg. The journal is from seed to smoke, lemme know if you want the link, you can get an idea from there. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  12. https://www.marijuanaseeds.co.za/index.php?rfc=hv4u4xpz-5 https://www.trophyseeds.com/ https://www.biltongandbudz.co.za/ Those seem like what most of us use. There are more sites, check the local seedbank section of the forum. @Totemic on here also has some fire strains. Edit: greensmokeroomseeds.com also has local stock. 13. I agree here@Newbie_2020 , I veg in ~9L plastic pots and flower in 20L fabric ones - growing Photoperiods. With autos I'd suggest (as stated in the previous comment) 7L or just over for a medium sized tree, 15 or 20L for a big tree. Root mass limits size to some extent but it's also important that you aren't wasting medium and such also, so check up on the strain and how big the tree can get, then decide if you want to let it grow that big or limit its size by using a smaller pot. 14. Haha, we all learn bro... And no problem... When I first started off, I once thought you could treat autos the same as Photoperiods as well... Needless to say I've learnt a lot since then.
  15. You can, but generally growers don't transplant autos because they're sensitive... The effect of any damage to the roots will be much more apparent and affect the plant much more as compared to a photoperiod strain. So since you're starting off, I suggest starting off tree in your final pot - the growth will be a tad slower but you won't run the risk of losing your plant by damaging the roots during transplant. If you feel confident enough, you can start off in a small container and transplant. There are ALOT of growers that do this, but make sure you take more care when doing so. It's also note worthy that you will have to plan how you LST the tree quite well if you plan to switch containers... So IMO it's easier to just stick to your final pot.
  16. Sure bro.. I've always wanted to grow purple or pink cannabis flowers so I got a 5 pack of the Feminized Purple Queen. Seems like it's on its way to Durban already so I'm expecting it by week end. Took this from B&B site: "Purple Queen is pure indica royalty. By combining the most elusive and highly-prized purple phenotypes of Kush mountain strains, the master breeders at Royal Queen Seeds have developed a unique Kush hybrid. Vibrant purple colours, pungent pine-fuel aromas, and a deeply penetrating, physically stoned effect are to be expected from Purple Queen. Purple Queen’s powerful physical effects will take you deep. Deep into the couch and probably the fridge, too. Smooth, full-bodied Kush flavour with a slight lemon twist will delight your palate as you gently float off to dreamland. Purple Queen reigns supreme in the cannabis garden. Indoors, or outdoors in temperate to warm climates, this strain can and probably will stun you with her gooey purple nugs. In just 8 weeks of 12/12, or by mid-September outdoors, she will be ready for harvest. Purple Queen is a compact, branchy Kush hybrid that will mature to purple dream weed without a fuss. She’ll fill out lateral grow space and will rarely exceed 1m in height. Over thousands of years, the ancient Kush genetics from which she is derived have developed incredible resistance as well as spectacular purple hues. Purple Queen can tolerate high doses of fertilisers and will thrive in any growing system from organics to hydroponics."
  17. I did email them bro, this shit keeps getting sent back to me Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  18. You won't 'feel' the CBD high. I've smoked CBD rich strains... It's very relaxing in a way. The buzz is medicated, and not intoxicating. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  19. Quick update, everything is in order. For some reason the server isn't letting my mail got through to them. Got back a response on Instagram super easy and then sent p.o.p on WhatsApp to Angi, seeds were prepped and should be sent out now or tomorrow morning for delivery. Super happy with the customer service, and even more excited for the seeds! Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  20. Haha, yeah I know brother. Just wanted to know if anyone had contacted them recently. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  21. Just placed an order with them and it seems like my emails to send proof of purchase aren't going through. Assistance please? Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  22. I like an intense euphoria with a mild body stone Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  23. Ah okay, yeah I was thinking of modding some 12v fans also. Thanks though. Lol, I'm so sure there I've seen desk fans available for like 150 and stuff in the past, before people started needing them for their tents. About the watering line, I had trouble with the OD initially so I used some heat shrink tubes to create a nice seal... The screw cap on the nozzle of the pressure sprayer holds everything in place quite well. Glad I could be of aid bro, and happy growing to you too! Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  24. If the buds are dried nicely, I found that the RH in the jars with Boveda packs won't increase above ~67% even if I left the jar sealed for 3 days. It then dropped to ~60% over the next few days (I get the 58% packs) I did this with 1 jar only out of 3 as an experiment to see if the Boveda packs could keep the RH in check in a sealed jar with freshly dried buds. Worked out well for me, but it's essential to burp the jars if RH in them gets too high... Don't want to risk all that hard work. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
  25. 100% I do the same. Dry for 7-10 days then in the jars with Boveda packs. Got the small digital hygrometers and I monitor the RH in the jar over the days. Thankfully my RH doesn't get much higher. And stays stable for about 2 or 3 days and then drops closer to the value on the humidity pack I open the jars for a few minutes a day just to break the buds loose from each other and leave it closed until I do it again. Minimum cure of 3 weeks for sufficient flavor I feel. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
