  1. each blend of soil will have an average weight per ton/kg. water is 1kg per 1l , and soil is nowhere that heavy.... so for soils with a coco blend, i would say less than 500g per l isnt too far off
  2. personally, i go where its cheapest and deal with the results. i started with 5 or so bricks of coco, cost me practically nothing, and slowly started adding Additives to it, and now i have a sweet blend of coco that shines every time. @The_StonedTrooper i understand your question, but fail to see its practicality if there is no brand or product to apply it to. i personally dont use fabric pots, but 30l is not standard size pot for most people. so if you asked me about a 20l fabric pot, i would tell you that i would much rather buy a 20l bag over a 30l bag, and id go for a 40l bag over 2x 30l bags still not sure about price question if there is no product to link it to tho.
  3. like most things that are "Dry packaged", it is more on weight than it is on volume
  4. Ah!! It all becomes clear now!! The slow growth is attributed to the light cycle you have man!! You are running a flowering light configuration and that is why your plants are small, not growing much... And of course... They are flowering It is too late for these ladies really... I would let them finish and then stick close to this forum for your next attempt. Light requirements for growing weed differ from veg to flower. In veg you need lower powered lights but they must be in for a longer duration. And for flower, you need intense light, with a shorter cycle. Veg needs 18 hours of constant light to remain in a healthy veg cycle, where it grows stems and leaves and that's it. Flower needs 12 hours of light, and more importantly, 12 solid hours of pure uninterrupted darkness!! Hit us up with what you have your timer set to and we can give you some tips and methods to keep your grow in tip top shape
  5. yo! the lady is looking good man... she is fading hard now! so it isnt too far from harvest time. i see a lot of milky and clear trichomes, so you will need to check daily now on multiple branches on the plant to see if you have mostly cloudy trichomes. my preference is to harvest when i see a few Amber here and there... so you might have another week or 2 depending on your preference. you could harvest now even... but why rush a good thing eh
  6. Brah... thats 1536 joints per year!! definitely trumps my consumption LOL
  7. not so sure man... those things have exposed wings, and seems like a soft body. very unlike the blister beetle

yup! i actually just figured everyone was tuning inhouse for hermies, where infact its just Nanners... but these plants are straight hermie

    In-house Grow

i dont know, my coveted Sugarcane Hermies (with Nanners) in high heat situations... i havent been able to pin point the exact temp, but my guess is anything over 29 and she shits herself a bit. but as for herming like yours are, expressing legit make flowers and fem flowers, then yea thats a shit show and no amount of experience or knowledge or equipment will make those plants not herm sorry for your hard luck man!
  10. i use a Powder feed scoop for all my nute needs... most of my nutes are salt based and in salt form, so i have gotten accustomed to using it and can eyeball the amounts i need to within 5% of perfect, and then use a 50ml marked beaker for anything from 5ml to 50ml of the wet ingredients but with my IPM controls, everything has its own syringe and they are all appropriately sized, all the way from a 1ml syringe, to 10ml
  11. whats up man!! what brings you here today? wanna be a part of the community? then just stick around!!! if you have some pics of your past or current grows they will be welcomed here!
  12. you will surprise yourself at the difference a year makes in grow skill mate!! next year you may take it to a podium finish!
  13. Well done to everyone who was part of this sick ass competition!!! In my head I had already called the winners out... @SkunkPharm @iGrowDagga @mantis I pinned you three as the comp owners hahaha your grows were absolutely beautiful to watch and I whole heartedly agree on the winners!!! Definitely deserving of a poduim finish I am very thankful to have also taken a prize for the donkey shlong I grew!! Here's a few pics of the main colas after a dry and trim
  14. i just dont have the time to game like i used to... spend all night playing games is a long past luxury for me hhehe. my dad seems to get it right though, and has recently got me hooked on Company of heroes, which is quite fresh and challenging to me. but @PsyCLown is right! where are all the cool games from when we were ten hahaha iv recently started buying a board game and its expansions called CATAN, and my goodness gracious me!! what a captivating game if i had to describe it, it would be a cross between Age of empires and Risk, and monopoly but more family friendly that AoE and way riskier than Risk, and a butt load less frustrating and tedious then Monopoly
  15. if there are roots, you still gotta make sure she doesnt dry out! and uf there are roots, i would give her some sun... the light green of the leaves tells me she needs food

yeild depends on way too many factors to give you a yes or no answer - the damaged plant needs to grow for many weeks before you flip her...if you flip her along with the rest of the plants, then you will be wasting the plant - she needs much longer to recover - the leaves will never come right and new growth is necessary
  17. when a company strives to keep to their mission statement as well as RAW does, it makes no sense to look anywhere else for quality papers IMHO when RAW was a lot less available than it is today, i opt for my next preference which is OCB Slim. growing up and learning how i like to smoke, Rizzla was the main rolling paper, but damn that paper taste is so strong if i am forced to roll in white bleached paper. peace and love guys!
  18. okay, not terrible by far. you should have added a calcuim source aswell to the coco for your buff, but that likely isnt your issue in the ratio you used (1:1:4) - just a note for next time the worm castings should also be fine - where did you source them from? store bought? or home made? if store bought... you went in fairly heavy... but it shouldnt be an issue if it was store bought ... home made tends to be crazy high in nutes and could possibly be causing kak in the pot now. if the other plants are happy with less, i think you have your answer potting up to 30l with only the organic soil should help the most
  19. whats up man!! so at a glance, i would say you may have over done it a bit along the way. but lets dig in and see what we can find. That sounds strange as the soil is ready to use as i understand it? how much coco and worm castings did you use and what coco did you use? buffered or unbuffered? all at the same time? grow is for veg, the rest is for flower i believe? @Prom what is your opinion? You should also be lowering the dose A LOT if you are mixing them all together and you can go a bit higher with the PH for a soil grow. 6.8 is the go to for soil. what are you adjusting and measuring your Ph with? i would stop this - only foliar for a purpose... we dont need rain on the leaves ie, epsom spray or fulvic spray or pest management sprays and not just plain water...
  20. Ah okay awesome - i will get the bud trimmed when i can and stll let you guys know how it was.... just needed to know if i should rush or if im good
  21. This is what i have heard as well - it could also be greendoor thats making waves lately... last seasons outdoor harvests were nothing to scoff over... some of the best green iv seen in years going for stupidly low prices... prices that @Martin7318 is quite correct about... indoor cannot be grown for R10 a gram if its quality
  22. i think i am ready! i just have to finish the trim and weigh - is that necessary for the comp? sort of like a smoke report of sorts? or where do we stop
  23. Thanks Capn! it felt like a part of my soul was wrenched from my body when i tried to log in yesterday and was greeted with the suspended page!! its good to be back -
