  1. Thought might be a nice indicator, if we post harvest results. Know what you can expect from each plant.. might be changing peoples opinion in giving the seed a try. The yield of the seed is set as "low", can't agree with that ^^ Buds are very nice size on those Bubbles. Plant: Bubbleicious Type: Autoflower Seed producer: Nirvana Light: Outdoor Soil: own mix, home made compost with Freedom Farm green bag (mix ratio 2/3 - 1/3) Fertilizer: Bio Bizz (Fish-Mix for veg, Grow, Bloom and Top-Max for flowering) Germination: 12. November 19 Harvest: 4. Feb 20 Yield (4 plants): 65, 82, 90, 72 (in that order visible in the dry tent picture) - 309g (ready to cure, little under dry, but I prefer to go a little bit more on the dry side, gets a bag anyhow) The scissor hash is from dry dressing, gives an idea how sticky the buds are.... happy with the result.

  2. @Bluntly Nice looking bush you have there....Never too late to clean her up a bit. Just go easy when she's in flower. I'd remove all the small branches at the bottom - lowest thin ones. Clean up all along the main stem, (open up inside) those small buds that don't get light and won't form proper buds anyway. So the plant can redirect that energy to the proper buds. 4. Good day, so I lost my all my other seedlings,to heat, month or 2 ago. But trying again, not giving up. So this run we doing GG#4 (4) X GSC (Cannabist) ,GSC (4) (cannabist ) and Washing Machine (ripper seeds) (1) . Plus have Cape cheese mother from GSR,which I will be cloning. And white Skunk #1 mother from GSR . I will be doing a sea of green method this time. Once I find the right mothers from the seeds above, will be using those for all my grows. Using 2 x 400w HPS Will be grown in super soil, I mixed myself. Plus I have gone in KNF and incoperated imo3 into my soil mix. Nutrients, I will be using my own, homemade. As per Korean natural farming. For the would run. Temperatures have been consistently at 22 to 28, for the last few week. Busy flowering out, cheese, skunk and kush. Will do a weekly post.

  5. This is the first time I have ever tried farming cannabis for our own consumption. Im glad to have someone like@Krieg that lives close by and is always willing to assist or explain things to me relating to growing. I had to pull one plant which was a male but it was bag seed. I also had one Elixer auto cbd which is busy curing. It was extremely interesting seeing the dark purple buds and the smoke is so smooth. I am currently growing the following strains; Bruce banner #3 sprouted around 20 Sep 2019 Hulk Berry sprouted around 20 Sep 2019 Wedding gelato - flipped. sprouted around 20 Sep 2019 Lemon haze x2 - flipped one Sour grape - flipped Big bud Viente uno cbd x2. The one dog kept on eating the big bud until there was literally just a little piece of leaf left and because of all that stress that plant grew into a very nice healthy looking tree. The bruce banner, Hulk berry, wedding gelato and the cbd were grown from seed in fabric pots with a mix of freedom farm soil, just cannabis soil, some other coco peat type soil and the nutrients I use are from the hydro shop which is the Part A, B and MPK. Im currently dealing with the WPM issue with milk which seems to help. Once I month I fees them coconut milk, they seem to enjoy it, looks like they are on a happy crack trip an hour after the feeding, hope its not affecting the plants in a negative way. We are currently busy defoliating the trees but all comments and suggestions will be appreciated.

  6. Hey everyone, GreenBeans here, still new to growing although this is not my first grow. All of my previous grows were autos, some from bulk seed bank and a couple from Dutch Passion. I decided to try out growing photos. But to keep it cheap coz its just an experiment, i used some bag seed from my brothers skunk. So in all honesty i have no idea what these plants are, and just trying to get them to harvest. I started them indoors under some cfls and moved them outside about two weeks before christmas

  7. The cleaning of your gear.. and if you do not wear gloves, your fingers, can be made easy with a simple trick. Oil.. I use olive oil, seems to bond best.. but free to try others. You use one drop. Spread the oil over the area and scratch with your finger nails the rest hash off, no worries, will not stick. Once happy, use the scraping part of a kitchen sponge to clean the scissor to shine. Fingers, just wet with oil and rub off to a ball. Due to the oil.. don't smoke that.. but bon appetit Clean hands and sponge with detergent. Can leave the oil on the scissors Happy growing

  9. Grow is looking great!! I think part B has the bulk of the nitrogen being only calcuim nitrate, cut back a Lil on that one... But if you are following the feeding scheme hortimix provides, then you should be fine... And iv been telling these guys!! Milk helps so much for PM!!

  11. Hi @420sake , feel free to post here in the breeders group, its a group for any 420SA members to participate (any interested members can request a invite) You can create threads here in the group as well, it would be awesome to see what the kznclub is up too, stoked to hear that there are collaborations going on regarding breeding. Creating a new DP gene pool by KZN breeders/growers will probably result in one of the finest DP's around. It really helps having guys with the palettes that saw and tasted the oldschool DP, you guys will be able to improve the strain with selective breeding I'm sure. Great to hear about the HIV work that you guys are doing, some strains are really effective and improve the quality of HIV/AIDS patients lives by a lot.

  12. Hi @Smelly Joe , she is looking mooi dude, and going to enjoy that topdressing going into flower That yellow spot on the leaf could be some bleaching from the sun, or a variegated leaf, we find them in the KushCookies F2's, none of them will create any major issues I think.

  13. Yeowza @Farmer Brown , you ask me questions right in the middle of my master class given by kzn club members so I can learn at the rate of knots. I have neva done this seriously, having sorted and pick my stable of landrace from bag seed for the next year crop with the acceptance that I lose bags of effort in growing males and then eliminating them. Keep in touch and we will show how we go, as we are on such a project right now. I have learnt so much in the past season so far.... and I thank this community for that! Diff here is that I try do over a 100 plants in a season. I extract only.

  14. @420sakeWhat is your seed selection like for the pheno find in KZN If I may ask? How many beans have to popped to go through? Different breeders or bag seed? Always interested with genetics people work with! I seem to of found my desired female for this project. Still currently looking for my Afghani and Strawberry shortcake male cuts. So many seeds, so little time, so little space.

  15. The girls are stacking up and putting on weight now. Had some issues with the weather. They have taken a beating from the wind and hail and rain, but they have come through, just looking a little less pretty. The last girl has finally started flowering. Better late than never

  16. Sorry for picking up on this thread late guys. Two comments with your permission @Dank We have a project to create a new pool of DP in the kznclub. Mean to do this as a Mzanzi project for the obvious reasons (for which I had zero knowledge, but am now becoming enlightened.) So I am very keen to partake if any results are at hand for proving. Secondly, for any interest in hiv work - we have been working on this project for 14 years now. We have a herb that provide a 100% recovery for the traditional measurement method. PM me if there is any interest. We could not get gubment involved, but have anecdotal experience and test result proof from Drs. Funny how cures have no interest with Drs hey?

  17. Oooh - about that DP female @Farmer Brown Would be very interested with our kzn project to strain hunt a solid DP find. Hahaha - like : "So many seeds, so little time, so little space." - as a newbie to the breeding game, I am starting to understand.

  19. Hello ladies and gentlesmokers! Just a quick one here. If I have an indoor growing tent spanning 1m (length) x 1m (width)... 1) What wattage light will I need to cover the entire area effectively (especially the flowering stage), for highest yield? 2) How many plants should I grow in order to cover the whole 1m squared area, again for highest yield? 3) Should I get one big light (e.g. 600W (or whatever the efficient wattage is for a 1m x 1m area)), or two smaller lights (e.g. 2 x 300W) for the 1m squared grow space. [This question mainly has to do with PAR value distribution... The way I understand it, it may be better to get 2 smaller lights in order to spread the light intensity more evenly across the growing medium in order for the entire space to get a high average PAR intensity and not only the middle... Or won't it really matter as a 600W lamp (for example) will be capable enough to get a high enough average PAR distribution throughout the 1m x 1m grow space? All advice will be greatly appreciated! KN

  22. Another week down, noticed some trichs on a leaf which is pretty exciting. The plant that hasnt started flowering is just growing taller, its now the tallest plant that i have. I need it to chill and just start flowering already . Otherwise the plants are happy and healthy and just slowly moving forward with flowering.

  23. So I have been seriously slacking with updates on this grow, it has not been an ideal grow at all. I have hardly been home, so have really neglected the grow, I got some PM earlier on which was treated but I took my time to treat the PM and then I was a few days late with multiple waterings which the plants were not too happy about. I also got thrips which I did not notice right away and they pretty much wrecked the leaves on some of the plants (especially Man Cookies #2). Hopefully Man Cookies #2 will pull through. I have pollinated the Man Cookies #2 and the Grape Diamond. I have harvested the Man Cookies #1 and am waiting for the Inzane and her seeds to mature before I harvest. I have not even had time to trim the harvested Man Cookies #1 so will be forced to do a dry trim. The bud looks alright still, decent frost but I do not feel these plants have reached their full potential unfortunately and it is all my fault. I just want this grow to be over, will need to give the tent a good clean due to the pests and PM and then will start a new grow... But only once everything has been harvested. The Man Cookies #2 is looking super frosty but I am getting worried and thinking the thrip damage on the leaves is perhaps too severe and stunting the plant. Will give it a bit more time and then decide whether to scrap it or try and see what I can get out of the plant and whether it's worth while or not.
