  1. This years cross of focus to me is this F1 hybrid, chocolope haze male onto a bubbleberry female. These were all started outdoors last weekend, and some are destined to a permanent spot outdoors, while I will also be force flowering from mid October.

  2. Should also be fine. Just make sure to keep your medium of choice moist... Otherwise you will battle...

  3. I say keep the light and use it for now, it'll work fine. Yes you do get better lights but for what you paid for it, it's fine. Save up and I'd suggest getting some quantum boards with Samsung diodes when you're able to afford them. Imo they're some of the best value for money LED's available currently. Excellent performance and efficiency, combine it with a high efficiency Meanwell driver / power supply and you've got yourself a superb light which will last quite a while. 6. Quick update Last week they were given a feed with coconut water and last night they were given just straight water. Pics taken 2 nights ago. These are the 2 A.S.D's side by side. My soil on the left, OM soil on the right. These 2 are pretty much neck and neck. Nothing between them really. I've been running this strain for more than a year now and she always reminds me why I keep her. She grows so nicely. Smokes great too of course. The 2 Scotts OG's. OM soil on the left, my soil on the right. Bit of a difference with these 2 that has developed. The plant in the OM soil is a little on the lighter green side. Less overall growth too which tells me that she's most likely a little hungry. She's still happy but might've been craving a bit more N for the big explosive stretch which this scotts OG likes to do. This cultivar is actually best suited for a scrog I reckon. Im kinda in 2 minds whether to feed her. Gonna just watch her for the time being. The Starkiller OG. 1 day short of the 6 week mark. Starting to stack nicely. She's a short plant, wasn't sure how she was gonna stretch, played it on the safe side and she didn't stretch much at all so she wasn't meant to be this short. Lesson learn't for the next round. Cheers guys

  7. There is just something about organics that make buds so tasty. There is no better organic growing than in a "Living Soil" teaming with beneficial Bacteria, Mycorrhizal Fungi, and everything else your Cannabis needs to grow the dankest of bud. And best of all, you don't need any other nutrients at all for the entire life cycle of the plant. When I decided to go a full on organic route, I spent hours and hours searching the net for formulations, that are firstly effective, and secondly, has ingredients that are easily obtainable in South Africa from a sustainable source, and affordable. I have had to make many substitutions, since guano’s are not so readily available, and they are super expensive when you do manage to get hold of it. So I thought I would share my soil mix that I grow all my babies in. Super Soil Ingredients 60l Potting Soil (I use DoubleGrow) 40l Mushroom Compost ( Also DoubleGrow) 25l Worm Castings (Hortishop) 500g Bone Meal 500g Talborne (I do not use the Fruit and flower, but the VitaVeg 6-3-4) 1kg SeaMunGus (Chicken Manure and Kelp pellets and plants love it!) 1kg Lucerne Pellets (Rabbit food) 500g Agricultural Lime 500g Volcanic Rock Dust (Turbogrow) 1 sachet of rock phosphate 500g Mycoroot 1 Compost activator sachet (Effecto Brand) 500g Brown Sugar (You can add Molasses, but I find that it takes the micro-organisms longer to eat up the sugar) Once all these are thoroughly mixed, this soil needs to mature and stabilize over a period of 2-3 months minimum; however the soil becomes sweeter the longer you leave it. I store my soil in large black bins, and chuck the whole lot out and mix through once a month for the first 2 months. This soil needs to be kept only just moist, but not wet. Pro Mix Ingredients 60l Coco Peat 30l Worm castings 30l Mushroom compost 20l Perlite 40L Super Soil (This first needs to stabilize before using) 500g Bone Meal 500g Talborne VitaVeg 6-3-4 500g volcanic Rock Dust 500g Mycoroot 500g Agricultural Lime Regardless of the size of the container I grow in, I fill the bottom half with Super Soil, and the remainder with Pro Mix. From seed to harvest I have never had deficient plants, and I only use de-chlorinated tap water (Just let it stand for 24 hours or more to let all the Chlorine evaporate. Unless your tap water pH is really off, you don’t even need to pH correct your water. The lime in the mix is a brilliant buffer to acidity. It does cost a bit to mix this soil up, but the results speak for themselves!

  8. Hit that follow to see how it goes! I have decided to not start any diaries until the beans have germinated... So here goes!! I put some jiffies on a plate and kept water in the plate to keep them moist. Popped 2 Banana grove, and 2 Girl Scout Cookies into the jiffies, no scuff, no paper towels, no presoak... 100% germination with tap water and jiffies All 4 were completely out of the jiffies this morning, but I didn't snap a Pic. This is from last night

  9. Yea, looks perfect. Then into some rooting powder / gel and then into the medium of choice (soil, jiffy, bubbler etc.) No need for a dome. Just ensure the medium stays moist, put them in with your veg plants as that should help keep the humidity higher. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  11. The type of diodes make a world's difference when it comes to growing with LED's. Also LED's are seldom run at their max power handling as their efficiency drops, you get diminished returns after a certain point. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  12. In the net pots.. But some fall through the net pots and into the water over time They float and don't really pose any issues so I leave them in the water. I used to wash my Hydroton and reuse it... But that shit is so cheap it makes no sense anymore
